The Crowd Was CRAZY! - Rescued Clydesdales First Parade!!!

The day is finally here!!! We head to our local town with our rescued Clydesdale, Oliver to the annual St Patty’s day parade! Due to our local college Missouri S&T, St Patricks day is a HUGE celebration in our hometown!! There are estimated to be roughly 40,000 people that show up for this parade every year! Wow! That’s a lot!!!
The crowds roar was deafening, the music was blaring, floats were everywhere, candy was flying in the air! BUT, our calm, trusting and sweet boy handled it like a pro. Even though we had had faith in him from the beginning he still blew our minds with how well he handled the situation. He even enjoyed all the attention he caught from some little fans☺️

Oliver is a two year old Clydesdale stallion that we rescued March 2023 with the help of our viewers. He was very sick when we first got him and REALLY Underweight. He has come a long way and made a full recovery from EPM. He is now well and strong enough to start training to pull and eventually ride (Of course with the ok from our vet and chiropractor).
