Indeed. Codex instructs that if you suspect your superior might be working for the enemy, you should report your suspicions to a Chaplain.

Every time I see Leandros, I am reminded of the failings of those that view the Codex as holy scripture, instead of the guide it is meant to be. Also…I wish he’d take a plasma bolt

Watching Astartes and this is like night and day. This looks like a college student did it. Astartes looks like an entire production crew that's been in the business for decades did it.
If you’re talking about the visual fidelity, this is an old game. You can’t really compare cutscenes from this to a modern cinematic which can have significantly more detail. However, certain details regarding the feel of how they move, operate and function and the weight and impact was not done nearly as well as Astartes. Despite the graphics those could’ve been shown better.
If you’re talking more about the atmosphere or story, I’d 100% agree. Astartes is far and away more how I imagined the feel of the Space Marines and universe around them just by listening to the lore these past few years. A cold, brutal and dark universe, where even despite how ridiculously overpowered the average Space Marine is; ultimately it feels like a hopeless struggle against the unknown powers of the universe.

Nope probably the black templar's because they don't follow the codex most other chapters only have 1000 warriors, black templar's are anywhere from 3-10 thousand if you want to count traitor space Marines they have the biggest chapters
That 1st trailer looks like it was made by someone who is no older than 12 and watched a movie once with a team combo on the villain. It looked so forced and janky in that fight

Cartoony looking, characters skin and armour are smoothed out like fornite, void of all blood, sweat and grime.

I love how somehow these spaces marines and chaos marines are killing each other with single shots or stabbing through the shoulder?? Who made this? Because it seems they don't actually know what a space marine is or just how hard they are to kill. No marine would drop from a single bolter shot to the chest...
