It looks great having those trees gone, knowing that they won't be a problem in the future. It's exciting to see what you are going to do with this soon to be "blank slate". You ALWAYS create the most beautiful and cozy homes! Prayers for God's richest blessings on your family and on all your endeavors!

Regarding the sticky vinyl flooring, if you use a heat gun, it will soften up the glue and it will peel off easier. I had to do this in my 1930's home I bought here in Florida. It had 5 layers of different vinyl flooring on top of each other. Heat gun made getting that flooring up much easier! I watch all your video's, first time commenting, cuz I had to share that. You two are doing amazing work on both properties! It reminds me of all I went through on my house! The rewards when done are worth it! :)

This is why I would trust buying any property you are associated with … you take out the old, what doesn’t work, defects, and remake it way better than when they were brand new. You guys are work horses with an incredible work ethic.

Doug holding Ashley up to cut some wires loose - now that is true teamwork! And Stan the man is on hand., too! This work is TEDIOUS but you two are amazing to watch. Glad those trees were taken down, especially the dying one. That could have been so dangerous. You know, as bad as the place looks right now, I can visualize how it will look when you are done because I have seen you do magic in other places. 😊

Looks so nice without the trees, they were too close to the house. The stump with the hole in it , if it isn't too close to the house and not in the way you could put flower seeds in it as a pot of flowers. We had a maple tree that was just like that and I put flower seeds in it and it blossomed into a flowering bush. Looked pretty good too. Wow, that was a lot of work getting that wiring out and staples out too. Great job.

Honestly, having the trees removed and the place re-leveled make a real difference on how things work out. Now you can Reno the place knowing all that work won’t be in vain, and you can get rid of the remaining crap and do your typical wonderful job. I personally wouldn’t have any problem with purchasing or renting a place you had renovated know how meticulous you all are. You all rock! It’s about time Stan showed back up to work. He is an excellent supervisor though.

Hi Doug and Ashley, crafters and home decorators use heat guns to peel off stuck on wallpaper, maybe it will work with vinyl flooring? Or maybe a flooring store has a better suggestion so you don't have to work too hard. I forgot how dirty the mobile home looked.

Originally from up north, now in FL-- I'm amazed at how FAST trees grow here. The prior owners planted 3 trees (one for each kid) at the back of the property and now they are ENORMOUS! The roots go waaay farther than the "dripline" and I'm a bit worried for our slab foundation. Having said that... trees are wonderful!

The initial pictures showing the home leveled made me smile. Knowing a good foundation is paramount I knew that opened the door for your planned projects. Oh how I wish I had some of your energy and a few of your skills. I agree with Ashley, the vibrations from that tool would be uncomfortable. I would prefer pliers and a board. Of course I am sitting in a comfy chair as I type that remark so my opinion is not pertinent. Your investment property will soon be better than a 2023 version, no shortcuts or inferior components utilized. (Those electric outlets were scary! Skimping re electricity usually creates more damage - possibly loss of life/lives. House fires are terrifying.) I do enjoy watching Ashley and Doug work together. Such impressive teamwork!

I just love this project. So excited to see it completed! One of my dreams is to start a mobile home park with nicely remodeled homes. Our friends bought a mobile home park across from our family land. We almost bought it but it didn’t end up happening. And thank God, because on the exterior the homes look ok and the land itself was maintained, but proper maintenance of the homes themselves was not done, and so the 12 or 14 homes (early ‘70s models), many had leaks, mold, plumbing issues, etc. And the previous owners acted like slum lords and also had crazy park rules. Example: one of the trailers had a leak that caused the power to go out in half the home. Instead of fixing the issue he taped one of those dollar store flip switch LED lights to the wall! To light up the living room! Absolutely insane behavior. But ya I really think MHs are a great option to enter real estate at a lower cost, but usually can charge the same amount of rent for a stick built home (though I want to provide more affordable prices)
