I am like noooo, don't end the video so soon! I hate those spiders! Belle. your braver then me! Glad you picked Maverick up to say goodbye! I wave at him and say goodbye even though he can't see me!!!! Doug, if one of those spiders would fall on me all my hair would turn white! Ashley beautiful as ever!!! Hugs to all of you!!! :)
Bell powered through the spider log. Proud of her. Found a lot of bugs though pretty cool, I think. Looks better with the shed removed like that. Bye little guy. Have fun! Peace!
I love how Belle and Maverick are into the treasure hunt too. They found some cool stuff. Maverick wanting the little turtle statue for his “treasure Box” was precious.
The income from this project will help you attain your dreams for your home. You saw cutting board, I saw plant elevation... In Michigan during a blazing hot, dry summer we had a couple Katydid 's come in the house. We found them drinking out of the cat bowl. We named them Frank and Pauline... they live in a huge Pothos that traveled the ceiling... Haha... you did find a lizard!!! It was great seeing you!❤
It was cool! I used to have a wooden toilet paper holder like that when my kids were young- looked like a toilet- nobody ever wanted to change the roll so this was easier
We gutted and remodeled a 1993 Brookfield by Fleetwood so I have an idea of what to expect. Can’t wait to see what you guys do to it. Good luck and enjoy the process. Ps your kids look happy and healthy so don’t pay attention to any negative comments. 😊😊😊
I really love your family. You may not have all the money in the world but you’re rich in life and love and that is worth way more than money. Stay blessed.
It has been suggested when buying for renting to be careful not to get carried away with investing. Clean up repairs to have it be livable. If you’re flipping it’s different but they still warn people about how much you invest. I’m just here cause I like watching Doug work, Ashely and the kids helping. I need a handyman so bad.
In this day and time it is smart to have a second income stream and I think that rental property is fantastic! I see a lot of work but also a lot of content for the TH-cam channel.
after watching many videos like these , which i love to watch. I do wonder sometimes if previous owners have watched thier old property being emptied and thought " oh thats where that went" . Great video as always 🤗
ooo i love the rummaging thro old stuff, well done getting old shed down so far , it looks like its going to be a gorgeous place , hope you are all well hugsx
In some cultures the spider cocoon, their use as a bandages to stop bleeding and the wound quick healing, nice fishing stool love to have that so when go fishing at least I have something to sit on, bye bye Maverick, thanks for great video, 👍👍👍👍🌹💚 ❤️,🇦🇺
In the usefulness category, the little mason jars got my winning vote, not the items I noticed the last time. A possible follow up winner would be the metal roofing. The jars are instantly useful but the roofing would need to be saved for a project (and I can always think of a few!) Maybe you can have a free yardsale out in front whenever you are there?
Keep those mason jars!! Nowadays it's hard to find jars for canning. They look like they've never been used and can be easily sterilzed for use. Once Maverick's strawberry patch starts producing, they would be perfect for some homemade strawberry jam and jelly.
Never turn down a free prybar, you can't have too many of those. >>;=) That TP holder and "Try Our Booze" jug, cool little fun gems *LOL*, and what an utterly cute peanut knife (peaknife?). Clean and oil those knives up, they'll be good to use. It's always interesting to get a glimpse of others' lives through their trinkets and things. If you guys run into any snakes, I'll calm and soothe them for you - anything scaled are my friends. Huh, a BROWN katydid? How odd, but looked like a nice healthy one. I feel like Belle has a good nurturing and healing nature, bet she'll do well with the ferns. Way she likes critters and bugs, I couldn't believe she didn't want to mess with the spider hehe. I so much love the fact you guys take care not to harm any of the old little residents... so much unexpected discovered life needing new homes in that shed. 🐉🤗 People always say I'm weird because I try to save critters when doing such a project or cleanup. Even the creepy crawlies need some love. >>;=) Poor skink, but I know you didn't mean to get its tail... I'd plumb die if I lost mine, but ours aren't so much "come-offable" like that. So cool the smooth way that shed fell; should've had y'all with me when I tore down the old 2 BR mfgd home I used to live in. Already nice and opened up back there with a better view of the yard from the deck.
Bye, Maverick, hope you had fun watching your parents do the demolition of that shed. Those spiders are really creepy but I do admire your efforts to just remove them rather than kill them. I didn't see much treasure in there but some of it looked like it might be fun to keep. Can't wait to see what you will find inside the house.
Hey Jeff that looks like some of the demo they did on your shed when you bought your first home with the trailer on it. Those were some wild days when you first bought in Arkansas.
Oh wow you found so much nice stuff! I would love to save the mason jars, coke bottles, pots and a few more things. We don't find good old stuff like that i Norway. Good job guys! So excited to see you work on this property. Love the family project!
The tools and mason jars are keepers for sure. The hard hats might come in handy if they are ok. That one cricket isn't from the USA it is a imported species and so is the skinks. Amazing that shed held up as long as it did! New projects on the horizon!
Yea, it really is amazing that the shed was still standing, and the deck also. The five-lined skink is only found in the Eastern USA (and some parts of Canada). There are thousands of species of Katydid found all over the world and many species are native to the USA.
😯 Oh my goodness Doug!!😯 My heart was in my throat, when you climbed up on the roof! With all the rain ya'll have been having, I thought for sure the roof would be as slippery as a peeled onion and I was so worried you were going to fall. But then my next thought was knowing how careful and strategic ya'll are, every time there's a task that needs done and I shouldn't be such a worry wart. 😊 I'm so proud of you both and I'm excited to see this next chapter in ya'lls lives unfold, while ya'll turn it into a thing of beauty. ❤❤❤❤ Much Love and Hugs to you both and to your beautiful children as well, from your Kentucky social media Auntie Jo. ❤❤❤❤
Belle’s room is looking great❤ A little disappointed that I’m all caught up on the house Reno, but that’s me, I binge until I catch up. You guys are doing a really amazing job on the house renovation …. Now I’m off to your last video on the mobile home. Thank you for sharing all your videos. They really are therapeutic for me.
I love watching you do anything. I was surprised the ladies were scared of spiders. They will handle anything else that crawls or sliders. I don't like spiders either. Be careful.
I can tolerate almost any creature, but my line is drawn at spiders, haha. But some spiders aren't too bad like jumping spiders or tarantulas...not sure why that is!
Hi Doug and Ashley! All i can say: I HATE SPIDERS!!!!!! I can say Doug, you did a great job tearing down the shed! I would never want to do that job though with the spiders! Bella, you are so cute! I don't blame you a bit for not wanting to touch that piece of wood! You are a very brave young lady! Hugs to each and everyone of you!
The plastic square milk crate, I used one of those, upside down over a catnip plant to keep kitty from destroying the plant. It works! Gives the plant a chance to root and get strong. Now I have dozens of catnip plants, all healthy.
Was just scrolling on Market Place and couldn't believe what came up... A tripod stool just like the one you found in the shed , it was listed for $150 .... the pattern on the leather was different than the one you found.
I am so excited to watch you embark on another project. We know the quality and the work that you do and the enjoyment we get out of watching the end result. Thank you for beautifying yet another place on the planet!
Nice start on cleaning up the property! It's always fun seeing what can be found in old sheds! That Skink tail was very weird. I knew they would lose their tails as a defense but didn't realize they continued to move. Very weird yet cool.
The arachnophobia in me was curled up in horror at those spider web close ups. Thanks, I love you guys, I truly do, which is why I carried on watching regardless. 😂 That little stool might be neat if the leather hasn't got too dry. It's a good start to the project, and it's going to be fun, as always, to see your vision start taking shape once all the demolition has been done. Stay safe, everyone. ❤
Advice from a country boy. When going into a place like that keep a shovel close. If you run into a snake you can make two or three snakes of him and you will not be bothered by him any longer.
Doug - that roof drop was awesome 👏 🎉😎 !!! Hi Demolition Doug and Ashley😊. How exciting! You and your family are truely amazing 👏. Thank you for sharing. Keep safe and God bless your beautiful family 👨👩👧👦 🤲 💐
The peanut key chain knife could be a collector item from the jimmy Carter days. I think the leather carved seat is purevian. Fun project, great collapse on the shed👍.
Oh gosh that shed was so gross, and all of those spider webs and also some big spiders that you let go, as long as they are not dangerous ones to let them go is just fine, I am not a fan of any spider and if I find one in my home and I know it won't bite me I just throw it outside so it can survive. I think a large deck will look so much better. Maverick is just the most adorable little guy. So excited to see the finished product. It will be beautiful. Everything you guys touch is 100% nicer and well built. I love having 2 properties to watch being renovated. Yay!!!
That was a cool tear down. Perfect drop on the shed. Very satisfying, I also love rummaging through abandoned properties and such. Some awesome "treasure" you found. I hope Maverick got to keep the turtle for his treasure box🥰
That was really enjoyable. I love a good scrounge through an old structure ,great fun . Those spiders certainly took courage to rehouse instead of running away from them . I loved that little South American tooled leather seat . Give it a good go with mink oil , rub it in well to soften and preserve the leather . It should look great. That is such a beautiful little potential paradise you have there among the greenery . I look forward to seeing it’s beauty unfold before our eyes .
Hi family, Ohhhhh how exciting!., I love going through junk/stuff. Lol Yeah the little pots/planters will be neat to clean up and use. Cute little things you found. Umm,,the spiders was not a happy moment though 😱 lol Until next time, which I can’t wait,,,,Cya,,,bye Maverick ❤️

That shed fold was epic. Of course, there was the assistance of termites; nasty bugs. This "fix it" is going to be fun.
That tree has to come down! too close, plus overhanging home. good video thanks Ashley.
