    I'm trying to Create a clip or Moving Icon, with a Tranparent background, but it juts renders black, I want the clip made so I can just have it and drop it in whenever, but if I have to Create it from Scratch, I guess I can.

      In this case you would want to mask out your subject so you can separate the background from the image. Fastest way in most cases is probably magic mask if you have the paid version.
      After doing so put a green background behind the image either in fusion with a node or on the edit page in a different layer.
      Export the image with the green background behind it.
      Then watch my video on How To Use The Delta Keyer in Davinci. And will be 1-2-3 in any projects

    Done! Subscribed! Thank you for these tutorials! I have a question… how can I use a png graphic I did in photoshop on top of a video? This graphic will be still while the video on the back, of course, will have some action, moving… I hope I didn’t confuse you with my question.

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eyyyy Awesome! Thanks man really appreciate it! Let me try to better understand your question.
      So you’re trying to put a still image that you made in photoshop? Or animated? Is transparency the reason you’re having trouble?

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Also are you trying to get your graphic stick to a specific part of your shot? Like let’s say you made a fireball to hold in your hand. When you’re hand goes out of view you wouldn’t want the fireball to be there anymore. You would want the fireball to follow your hand and only be on screen when your hand is in view

    • @vvjavviervv
      @vvjavviervv ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RobCreates it is my logo, png, I want it to be shown on the left side of the screen (1/3 of the logo showing only) and I want to keep it there (no transparency) for a minute or two while the video is running on the back. Yes, the part of the logo showing will be still. Thank you so much!

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ohhh okay cool gotchu. Once you have your logo in Davinci resolve you’re going to drag it onto the timeline make sure that your logo is in a higher video track than the video that you recorded. Once you have it in the timeline your going to want to use the transform tool to position your logo how you want on the screen and then you can use the crop tool to just display what portion of the image you would like to see
      Please let me know if this solves the problem and if you need any further help I’m more than happy to create a video on what I described up above I know that was a lot to take in

    • @vvjavviervv
      @vvjavviervv ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RobCreates Thank you!!! That info helps a lot. Consider making a video with something like that, a nice big logo in the center while a video is playing on the back and then the logo moving to the left until is half way gone and keeping there for a minute or so and then vanish it. Well, some crazy ideas I have. Keep posting, I’ll keep watching your tips and tricks! Thank you again and Merry Christmas to you!

    For the ultra noob is there a video on how to do masking? lol i can probably do this after i get the masking part.

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't have a mask specific video on channel for basic manual masking. However I do have a video on magic mask which is ai masking for you basically the easy way(paid version of Davinci).
      th-cam.com/users/shortsdhCQX2ottFU?feature=share
      Otherwise let me know because I could certainly make a video on masking in the future

    Worked once I changed to PNG. JPG format did not work, thank you. Less talking at the start and more showing would make this video more interesting, even if it was shorter. The use was for a transparent watermark "words only" logo on my videos

      @@RobCreates No problem, TH-cam is a pain in the rear to grow so even 24 subs is actually good for only 6 videos. I had 109 videos on my Studio channel deleted the lowest performing recently so have 98 now but am only 611 subscribers myself... I am writing from my smaller audio / studio channel :P

    • @sparketech
      @sparketech ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RobCreates Not that you have to worry so much about making the video short, since TH-cam tends to like longer videos. It was simply a long introduction that could make people click off before watching which would rune the performance of the video by making TH-cam not recommend it. If there is a way to key out a background in Davinci Resolve that is something that nobody shows if you know how to do it.

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sparkestudio You bet it is so hard to grow bro I have another channel that I took the time to focus on which is why I have such a big gap on this one. And posted around 80 videos and only has 452. This channel is a search based channel which I do believe gives it an advantage. My other channel is browse was growing super quick but slowed down I assume algorithm change

    • @RobCreates
      @RobCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sparketech Yeah you're absolutely right that beginning went on forever it felt like. Ironically it is my best performing video on the channel. Probably from all the engagement. TH-cam be doing some weird stuff sometimes my worst vids getting more traction than other ones sometimes lollll
