@@TalixZen It's a good theory. I've read other comments about that. If Stitch were to go later or last his style would subconsciously have a larger impact on the judges because at that point they've listened to drums and tk-patterns for hours. But i believe there's a larger issue at hand - this GBB24 relied heavily on the low sub sounds like power snares, liprolls, clickrolls etc. and it's very clear that the beatboxers with those sound palettes had an huge advantage. Apparently according to DEN there wasn't even a limiter this year which means there were even extra loud. The musical and complex beatboxers couldn't obiviously push their sound palettes to the likes of Jullard for instance because that would break their styles; and the judges seemed to favor power and audio volume way more than musicality and complexity this year which is likely the reason Stitch didn't pass. I've followed GBB since 2014 and Stitch not passing is honestly my biggest disagreement with Swissbeatbox ever. I still remember Elisii not passing elims in 2019, Trung Bao losing to Mark Martin at the American Champs 2016 etc. but this one is the worst for me.
@@emilflarsen2 Counterpoint, Blackroll was too loud and that counted against him. So it wasn't purely power over style. But yeah Stitch confirmed in his most recent video that 2/5 judges said that if he hadn't have gone first he would have for sure gotten in.
@@TalixZen Blackroll was too loud? xD But was he at least clean while being loud? The limiter should be there in the first place to prevent the participants from being too loud and for other obivious reasons like safety precautions. I heard from many GBB participants that the live audio was even worse than last year and very dry as well. Apparently 7toSmoke this year had better audio than the actual GBB venue which is insane to me.
Your's polyvoice is actually very good

If you didn't already know Stitch didn't pass this year.. and it makes no sense. GBB is broken lmao
I blame recency bias. If he hadn't have gone first I bet he would have scored higher. Just a theory though. *shrugs*
