Osis had real villain arc right there. He destroyed Remix in such a close battle, then roasted French on the stage and MAYBE got robbed after that (I still didn’t get it for me who got the final). Hope to see him winning that shet next year
The bass does sound so heavy also because the venue had the bass turned up way more than some other ones, multiple of the contestants talked about it and judges. Osis does have power these days though, he used to get called out for lacking it on stage or that he wouldn't be able to have impact on stage. The issue with heavy base boost is it lessens small fillers and lighter/sometimes more difficult techniques so they sort of have to work around that unfortunately. For example 3:47 , stitch said this hit a lot harder in person but also was muffled out a bit by the boost. Also the fusion part apparently sounded really muffled at the venue and its also one of his signature sounds so it was unfortunate for him.
The reason osis does good in my opinion (he’s good not taking that away) but a more explained reason from my point of view is that he’s both good for non beatboxers and hes technical asf and unique for beatboxers and people who understand music on a different level
