That’s super looking coach. You guys are lucky . Many of the Indian routes are yet to get these type of trains. I think you should ask Indian government for some cheap loans or get help from India to relay those tracks. It needs very urgent modernisation.

No idea about the speed actually. But, it reduced the delay by 5 minutes after leaving Mount Lavinia station with a delay. Finishing quality seems okay for now. First class compartment is not that good. Let's see again after few months.

I think the reason is only m11 can haul these coaches and m11 doesnot suit to run in batticalo line. Becauss m11 has huge weight and can damage old rails in batticalo line. Jaffna line is not old so they are using m11 for it
The first class seats look a little too stiff. I wish they made it a bit more soft and also they should have increased the boulstering on the headrest cos then you can rest your head on the side and sleep comfortably.

Not maiden run. ICF caoches went a maiden run with passengers on 11 th April 2021 to galle. This is the maiden run of ICF coaches as Yaldevi. 😇😇
