Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for this video! Cas and Melissa, I love you ladies so much! I've learned more from watching you for 3yrs than I have in the 39yrs preceeding that. And a shout out to Dawn from Minimal Mom too. I truly believe that these three ladies are the holy trinity of cleaning. Each of them are totally life changing!
As a butterfly, I didn't realize that my aversion to decanting, was due to my organizing style😊! I do flour and sugar only.

Where did the hot sauce end up? Melissa, thanks for keeping it real and showing us that you are mortal. I have an even smaller cupboard for my pantry (it is only for me though) and I do struggle with trying to arrange things. It's deep and low and awkward for me to get to the back of it. I am now inspired to get some kind of drawer system in there.

I have about 20 bottles/jars (from different countries), so it would have ended up with those.

Lol, I started watching these ladies a couple of months ago and it didn’t take me long to find out. Actually, I was thinking a couple of days ago that it would be cool to see them collaborate… I didn’t know that they already have done that!
I think the perception is that butterflies are always a hot mess - stuff everywhere and nothing organised. Melissa is such good proof that if you keep things minimal you can still have a stylish, tidy and organised home even if you are a visual and macro organiser 👍🏻

I needed this. I have NEVER been able to figure out which bug I was. I WANT SO BAD to be detailed and small categories, out of sight, “a place for everything and everything in its place” kind of gal…. But that style NEVER works for me. However, now that I’ve seen a butterfly in motion and seen how it works, I now know that I am a butterfly. Which means that I can actually start organizing that way! Yay!! 🎉🎉🎉

I love organizing ! I didn’t when I didn’t know how to do it and I didn’t know I had to get rid of a lot of stuff first now you’ve taught me the tricks. It’s so easy to set up systems and keep them organized by routinely going through again and just tidying.

My husband is a visual person too. I'm not at all. But I have to share the space. Organizing my house gets very challenging.
I'm a super visual person. I would forget about everything if they weren't in view. I'm a big note person too. If I don't write a note NOR have something else in view, I will likely (90%) forget what I was supposed to remember. My mother was a visual person , BUT who put things out of view ANYWAY to please my dad . She would frequently ask me to remind her of things. I did. 😮

No idea how you found bins that fit so well! One of these days, there'll be a website where we can type in the dimensions we're working w and the website will search Target, Amazon, etc for all the bins that meet those parameters. My fingers are crossed!

Wow! I have a very deep pantry shelves (no pull outs). I have been struggling with how to organize it. I have been struggling with how to make containers work for so many things. You just showed me it's okay to have items like baking in containers while I have other things like multiple kinds of pasta still in their individual bags in a pull out container. LOVE IT! You just gave the freedom to mix and match my organizing. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I am a butterfly organizer 🦋. I don't like to see clutter, but like to see my things. I didn't realize until I got older, that we all have different learning styles as well. I am also a visual learner. I'll read about something, but then I want/need to see how it's done too
