I bought the gulp minnows yesterday, they definitely didn’t disappoint! My 7 year old son caught 5 bluegill the first day out using them. Im glad I found your channel, it’s given my son and I some great ideas to try. I look forward to watching more realistic content!

Congrats Alex! Incredible that every one of those Bluegill was a JUMBO! Those were some of the BEST Bluegill I've ever seen! I made it out fishing at a local park here in MI today, as it has temporarily warmed up. Caught 10 Bluegill (none as big as yours), 3 Crappie, and 1 very tiny LM Bass. Caught them all just like you with Gulp Minnows under a float. Had a blast! Thanks again for a super video!!

Usually when I have trouble catching game fish and they won't bite I will switch to fishing panfish. When you use ultra lite tackle and get on them, its as fun if not better than catching game fish. I always say if panfish got as big as say a bass, fisherman would target them more for the fight. They are one of the toughest fighting fish in the water. Awesome video Alex.

I had a hard time finding those gulp minnows last year, so I hoarded a bunch of them when I did find some. Can't wait to get out and try for some panfish here in Kentucky
That was one great day of fishing. I went out and didnt even get a line wet due to the husband bringing the dogs and all they did was splash around in the water scaring all the fish away. But still plenty of time to get out there. Always keep it Realistic

Man I wanna fish this weekend so bad.. I threw my back out moving bags of top soil to my gardens though.. Might just deal with the pain and do it anyways. City Lake is full of bluegill that have to be fired up right now with this warm weather. I've got all my palm trees out and it's spring explosion flowers everywhere!

Gotta love bluegill fishing when the bass arent biting.
Bluegill fight well above their weight and are fun to catch. Only trout offer more fight vs their size but they are seasonal here in Nebraska.

Here in Ohio, those 1 inch gulp minnows hook steelhead in the winter. 1/32 Oz marabou jig under a float. Great bait.
