I hadn't fished in about 19 years. Recently picked it back up and had been skunked on about 10 trips to the harbor, river, lake and pond. After watching about a dozen of your videos I had many fresh ideas, and I caught 10 fish in 2 days, including 7 with my daughter! She thinks I'm a hero and it's mostly thanks to you! Keep the videos coming!
I aint gonna lie. I been watching ur videos for almost a year now and u have really inspired me to start fishing again. Thank u for inspiring me to get back into fishing.
That was a good episode with 3 beautiful bass caught on tiny swimbaits. I'm just starting to use these and was excited to see you do so well. Thanks Alex and KIR. Oh, and please never make the old episodes unavailable. Some of us love them.
I have a special little box in my bag just for ultra light stuff. Gets more use than anything else, especially with the kiddos. I like how often you feature the little lures.
Great episode! It's a blast fishing with small paddle tails and other moving bait's for big gill's and nice size bass as well...Always enjoy your gill fishing trips! Thanks for taking us along and thanks for always keeping it realistic brother!
I’ve always wondered about the smaller swim baits and wondered if they were just as good for fishing. After watching this video, and seeing that you caught bass with your setup, I’m definitely trying this setup. Thanks for the informative video
Small baits are deff the way to go in certain situations. People think you need giant baits to catch big fish but you'd be surprised how many giant bass crappie fisherman have caught on tiny jigs. Great show and material brother
Fun evening of fishing, with some really nice catches,on the tiny swimsuits ! Always exciting to see them wake on your bait too , thanks for sharing Alex 🎣🙂
Amazing success with those tiny swimbaits! Enjoyed seeing you catch fish while trying different baits! So cool to be catching LM Bass and nice Bluegill on the same Lure! Awesome!
Love the video. I’m going to try a small swim bait in my local lake this week. Thanks for always bringing the great content!! Greetings from AK Fishing, where fishing is Always Kool!
I’ve had a lot of luck using black or dark soft plastics and that looked like just a fun day to be out fishing my friend right on and I’m so guilty of leaving Fish to find Fish and not sure why either. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
Another nice video. I sent you a baitcasting reel this afternoon, no note inside. I've never seen you use one like it. I used it once, I hope you'll like it.
Sup Alex, some nice bass, bluegill and great realistic fishing, here in RI is awful, but using my crappie jig heads And small swimbaits is a game changer 👊, when windy I even add a float, tyvm tc 🎣
*So* much fun to watch! Bass season doesn't open in Ontario till the end of June, so until then I'm going to try to get in on some of this bluegill action. :)
Great content Alex sir , recently i started making my own bottle cap lures right now its a protoshay work in progress exsperiement , 1 thing i lfound out real fast is that just in general fish and turttles will bite anything they can get their mouth on , the message that i want to share with other anglers is that dont be afraid to exsperiement because you'll loose so many more if you dont exsperiement with your lures , im often times reminded that you cant catch them on anything that they can get their mouth on
Great video Alex! Love seeing you out there slaying the bass and bluegills with a tiny swim bait!! The different ones you choose definitely performed well. I may have to invest in some. Thank you for always keeping it realistic Alex 🎣😊
That was some good fishing Alex. I like using small crankbaits for bass and bluegill too. I have a couple bags of the small swimbaits I want to try now.
I have some from a mystery tackle box... never tried them, but after watching you kill it.. i'm deff gonna try them now! those were some good bass for that tiny hook.
Great video!!! I enjoy the fact that you do keep it REALISTIC😂😂😂. Other videos show guys in what must be private waters, and they only catch 5++++ pound fish😮😮. PLEASE KEEP ON BEING REALISTIC😊😊😊😊. I just ordered some of the Johnson Beetle spins to try in my honey hole.
I've caught all my fish the last 3 weekends on a 2 inch Bobby Garland swim bait. Different species caught, that includes some decent skip jacks, and a good 15-20 inch small mouth. Those small baits pull decent catches. Don't ever underestimate them. That grub color is a black body, pink tail, and a black head with yellow eye jig head. 1/16 oz jig. That thing is now in my top 5 go to-s when I'm not catching anything. I'm getting a few creature baits after seeing the success with the swim bait. Yea those hooks are thin and you gotta be careful, I agree. I've been surprised how well my catches have stayed on at certain points. If you've never tried small creature baits and swim baits, I urge you to try. It's a lot of fun!
This helps. Ive been trying to get back into fishing. Especially for bluegill bit i sick so bad its discoiraging. Ive quit for over a decade only because i suck. Lol
I got a few of these a couple years back on sale at Walmart for 50 cents each but I haven't had any luck using em tho. I like live worms when I pan fish, they seem to work the best. I get all kinds of pan fish and sometimes the surprise bass, drum and carp. Got some decent size fish on those little hooks.
It's funny how sizing down can produce in small lakes like that. Subtle is better sometimes. It's also funny how you have found FREAKING Alabama rigs hung up on logs in that lake LOL... I would say you have quite the edge over the other people that fish that spot...
I fish with those Baits all the time, use a number one eagle claw bait holder hook, thread the hook completely through the bait coming out on the bottom of the lure.(2) put the small swimbait on a small net rig. Using small jerks then pause they will hit it on the fall. When using the one eagle claw bait holding hook swim the bait subsurface a few feet , pause the swimbait let it fall for at least 3 seconds before starting the technique over again. On the fall is when you catch the larger bass that's why you need the eagle claw bait holder hook for strength.
The regular ball head jigheads like you are using are far superior on micro setups like that vs the ones with bait holders that just destroy lures in my opinion

Thats the way!
I aint gonna lie. I been watching ur videos for almost a year now and u have really inspired me to start fishing again. Thank u for inspiring me to get back into fishing.
Same here.
Only problem is, I suck, so it's very discouraging. Lol
Just finished watching….Nice micro-swimming baits. The black color bait dominated. Thumbs up video.

Nice bass and bluegill Alex!!!! Those swimbaits were tearing them up!!
I have a special little box in my bag just for ultra light stuff. Gets more use than anything else, especially with the kiddos. I like how often you feature the little lures.
Nice Alex! Small swim baits get the job done.
YESSIR! A good shoreline micro-swimbait bite is a ton of fun! 👊

Man you are catching some nice bass this year. That little gill got out of dodge like he was running from the law...LOL
Thank you for some great ideas. I love the sound of your drag. I always enjoy your videos, and you caught a bunch of fish!🎣🐟🐟🐟

I’ve always wondered about the smaller swim baits and wondered if they were just as good for fishing. After watching this video, and seeing that you caught bass with your setup, I’m definitely trying this setup. Thanks for the informative video
Awesome! First fish being a bass was great! I was expecting maybe a crappie first
I want to fish with Happy Paine!!!

Master of the micro lures!
Fun evening of fishing, with some really nice catches,on the tiny swimsuits ! Always exciting to see them wake on your bait too , thanks for sharing Alex 🎣🙂
Small swimbaits are a large part of my fishing arsenal. The big fish love little baits.
Nice catches Alex, I'm going out this afternoon to see what I can catch. Great video Alex
Those small baits are fun to fish with, they catch everything.
Heck yeah broski - love them micro swimbaits - good work! 👊
They keep saying when the fishing gets tough, downsize. Well there you have. Great video.
Your lowlight worked fine( bass#3) I love playing with small lures/light line just to see what will happen. You had a fun time. 👍🎣😊🎣
Awesome results from those little swim baits.
Nice fish with the small baits. Thanks for the video. Always fun to watch. I like the area you were fishing. Glad you got in there.

How do I send a realistic video clip for the show?
Another nice video. I sent you a baitcasting reel this afternoon, no note inside. I've never seen you use one like it. I used it once, I hope you'll like it.
Hi,Alex!!
Nice catches,pal!!🎣🎣
A snack is a snack! Nice catches.
Lovely video dude, love that you caught bass and bluegill with the tiny jig, that's really nice.
Congrats on the fish, you deserve them. 👍
Sometimes I'll be crappie fishing, and the bass hit the small stuff more than the crappie. Really cool how a smaller bait can trigger a bite.
Sup Alex, some nice bass, bluegill and great realistic fishing, here in RI is awful, but using my crappie jig heads And small swimbaits is a game changer 👊, when windy I even add a float, tyvm tc 🎣

Great session, Alex, have to admit I let out an involuntary holler when the last bass jumped out the water . . .
I like using smaller baits. Great video Alex.
I fish in a tournament today. I left there a second place trophy. Plus, two Ozark trail baitcasters. That two guys gave me.
That was nice fishing Alex! Great job! 👍
That was cool. I like micro fishing.
I have some from a mystery tackle box... never tried them, but after watching you kill it.. i'm deff gonna try them now! those were some good bass for that tiny hook.
I'm going to try small small swim baits, the next time I go fishing, thanks Alex,,
I dont have luck throwing small lures like that for bass or bluegill, but nice to see them working for you.
Awesome, thanks for keeping it realistic!!

Incredible!
Yeah. Fish on
Never underestimate a small bait👍
Those little swimbaits seem to be working well for you.
I believe you can catch fish in a mud puddle. Great catches today.
Where can we get them swimbaits
Nice video
Good choice fishing with Swimbaits. The fish were hungry.
You should try gummy worms. It's basically a Manns flavored worm. Biodegradable and won't hurt the fish if full on eaten.
Have you ever used a rooster tail ?
