You are right Somalia Exists as the Federal Republic of Somalia. However The Somali Republic does not Exists anymore. Somalia and Somali Republic are different. The Somali Republic is the name given to the Country that was created as a result of Somaliland uniting with Somalia. The name Somalia was created by Italy. Hope that explains.
