Y'know, I think it's important for all us diehard fans to see the man performing under the influence sometimes, and not always crisp and in top form as our fantasies would prefer. Stating the obvious here: it's impossible that he could have gotten clean as late as 1983 and then died 'of his wounds' just over two years later. What for me is hypnotic about this track is that it's Lizzy's 'rump Parliament' entering full-on Eighties territory without losing the entire Lizzy sound...
@@Bigstrat2his voice is also very raspy here too. I've been captured by heroin spell for most of my late teens till I finally quit in 2013 and have been ever since. He is 100% on it here but on enough where he isn't going through withdrawals.
I was living in Kuwait when this album came out. I played it every single day and this was/is my favourite track...the keyboards add an ethereal quality unlike anything else TL ever did...
R.I.P. Rocker and Gary. Tin Lizzie is still one of the U.K.'s much loved and highly influential band. Drugs and alcohol did not completely drain his song writing ability, most of it, but not entirely.
Man this version should be much louder it sounds okay and headphones still not loud enough and without headphones it's just too low what a beautiful version
Good Lord!!!!Love this mans voice!!!!!Miss Him so much!!!!!!Brilliant! xxxx

Another great song - what would Phil play today?
What year was this?????
What happened to John Sykes solo on this ? Best part of the song 🤷♂️
Is it the heroine that made the tempo slow? Sounds slower than other versions.

La versione di LIVE / LIFE è molto meglio; qui sembra drogato o che stia dormendo...
