@@tastywavn You will have to show me pictures of your logic so I can understand where you have gone wrong. If you follow the tutorial the anchor will stop as soon as the magall touches anything, including the bottom of the ocean.
Question… I noticed the node change to pink, and the inputs and outputs are reversed, or mt save is bugged… also noted I had no micros in my parts other than workshop items… very weird. Great vids… you have my sub and like. Thanks bigtime.
The microcontrollers have 2 naming options, The name in the properties and the name that you save it as. The name that you save it as will be what the file is called, but the name you give it in the properties is what it is filtered with in the parts menu. Not sure about the input/outputs reversed.
@@terr-rawr-saur thanks, your tutorials rock keep them coming… seems the input/output reversal issue fixed itself on reload… or I was just too darn tired. 😂
As soon as i the set 1 sec passes, the magall turns on, but when it hits the seafloor, it turns itself off. and the cable keeps going down. i did everything the same as you, only difference is that i used 3 magall (tried both using or gates and connecting only one) Do you have any idea why? thanks! EDIT: i found out it simply wasn't glowing, but it was connected... i feel dumb (the heigh issue still persists)
If that's not what you want to happen, check your logic again. If you use a constant on or a button that is set to on by default it will deploy on spawn.
I also could not get this same controller to work yesterday. I connected the on/off signals between the electrical connector and the magall incorrectly. Maybe have a look there are make sure the on/off signals are connected in a loop between the electrical connector and the magall.
Thank you for this! Really simplified the process.
Glad it was helpful!
fantastic titorial man! simple and quick!
Glad it helped!
Thank you so so mush i am building a tug boat and dont how to build an anchor but you tutorial relly help me
You got a sub : D
That's great :)
super simple and it works perfectly
Glad to hear that
THANK YOU SO MUCHHH
Great guide!!
How would you fix it so the anchor cable automatically stops going down once it hits the bottom.
That's how it works in the tutorial.
it does not stop once it hits the bottom, and i want it to stop once it hits the bottom@@terr-rawr-saur

it keeps going down and my button isn’t doing anything
can this work with other things that use a winch?
Yea. The controller just stops when the mag all connects so if you can figure out another way to use it, that's the core functionality.
I love u

for me my winch automatically drops it when i spawn in

@@terr-rawr-saurthank you! i somehow put the not to the down not up!
I cant get it to work for some reason.
Edit : thx for making it not working, I understand more how logic gates work now

@@terr-rawr-saur this thing is refushing to work. ive re did it 5 times lol. oh well
@@skullblits6969 Sorry to hear :( Does it do anything when you push the button? If you describe what happens I might get an idea of what's gone wrong.
@terr-rawr-saur it does. Nothing but my build is rather large. I'll add it into another one next build
@terr-rawr-saur I connected one thing up wrong and it now works lol oops
