- Just what the title says. A few days ago, on my way home from work, I heard something dragging against the pavement. Turned out to be a section of exhaust. I have since removed the offending metal and the car is now drivable again, but it is very noisy. This is probably the last time you will see this car, at least for a while. I am giving it to a close friend of mine, so it may appear again, but I am preparing space for a new project and it just doesn't fit. Thanks for watching.

Just had that happen to my Suburban the other day.

@@AiOinc1 Yup, I had a guy build me a whole new exhaust for the truck.
The reason it fell apart in the first place wasn't due to rust, but due to my previous hastily done repairs I made after my catalytic converters were stolen.
Luckily I live in a place where there's no inspection, so I just bypassed them, but I've learned my lesson when it comes to exhaust work (leave it to the professionals).
Are you still restoring it? Are you going to do another update? I hope so. These old K-Cars are worth saving.
Nope, I gave the car away several months ago. Couldn't even sell it at scrap price and didn't want to see it go to the crusher, so I gave it to someone who needed a car and called it.
@@AiOinc1 Well, that's good. I hope you encourage them to restore it as they can, as these have become quite rare and represent an important chapter in American automotive history.
@@-M-A-B-It's a daily driver now, which is what I intended to do with it. I don't restore cars.
