"They can go back and remember forever that Brian Lara came to Cuttack and got a good score." That comment right there tells you how good Brian Lara was. He was a treat to watch.
The last time when Chetan Sharma was recalled...but he was never remembered after this series when he went for 23 runs in one over against Newzealand..
Its funny to see that Lara has dominated all other test playing nations with daddy hundreds but couldn't dominate the paltry and less than ordinary Indian bowlers of the 90's.Anil Kumble was the fastest bowler back then for India.
Always wonder how prince has missed to score huge against my country..Especially being a left handed and the greatest batsman, he would have scored tons of runs vs India..left handed batsmen always played well against India..its our fortunate that he has not scored huge but his partner in crime chanderpaul scored huge by accumulating prince runs too..
Not only Chanderpaul. Carl Hooper also scored big against India. His clone Darren Bravo also dominated much better Indian bowling. It is a mystery. And it isn't that he was out in a specific manner
Paradox Cricket Official, were CARL HOOPER & PHIL SIMMONS a wasted talent because they didn't play for WEST INDIES in wc 1996 & after wc 1999, please let me know.
Lara was so off color on this tour,he didn't score a single hundred,Sachin and his fans must have prayed hard for him to fail ..it was Sachin vs Lara and as a Lara fan I was disappointed....
sting281 I remember even today he walked when he edged that delivery from Raju,he I think I was very tired after the English series at home where he made the 375 plus the paceless indian bowlers, non turning spinners like kumble and the low slow wickets with awful umpiring bored him ....if Ambrose and Richardson played in that test series windies would have won....
sting281 Pakistan in their late eighties till late nineties and wundies were the magical teams, wonderful pacemen, attacking batsmen match winners, those sure were the days,Jimmy Adams lost it all once he became captain and Carl Hooper the biggest under achiever ever along with Graeme Hick
Aman it's worth crying over those wonderful players, all that's left in cricket right now is fixed games and auctions,it's like WWF however I don't expect everyone to be a purist and accept talent wherever it is...

Excellent batting by Lara!
Chetan Sarma was 80s bowler. Rare to see him in 1994. That mianded six of his full toss will haunt him forever.
Totally unsportive crowd .not even single clapped for brian lara brilliant batting
Yaa thanks for telling that hater
Carl Hooper coming out to bat without a helmet !!! 🔥
The last time when Chetan Sharma was recalled...but he was never remembered after this series when he went for 23 runs in one over against Newzealand..
Yes..Stephen Fleming scored those 4s

Not only india he has a average record vs teams with ordinary bowling. May b he felt little bored.
Yes against india he fared poorly....It is really mysterious as to why he couldn't perform against india
Probably he didn't find Indian bowling challenging enough..Srinath was quite fast and a handful..
Considering how his teammates Chanderpaul, Carl Hopper, Jimmy Adams feasted on same bowlers
Lara had sympathy or good will Or took easily India ballers. That is why his performance against India ballers was not good.
B C LARA WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT OUT.
LARA WAS NOT OUT.

Can some one share brian lara's fastest hundered against bangladesh ??
Fielding was okay in the 1990s with jadeja and Robin Singh manning the important positions
Rare gold ...Chetan Sharma
Lara was classical Batman.
A rare big score of Brian Lara against India. In spite of having a mediocre bowling in 90s.Lara always struggled against India.
Nice to see Chetan Sharma in action
Lara had class.he always perform well against wasim and waqar
Again a victim of a wrong decision and bad umpiring. No batsmen has been given out due to an umpiring error more than Lara.
Kambli the forgotten hero
Brian lara and shane warne kabhi india ke against kuch Khaas ni chale

sting281 you won't believe after that tour jimmy adams was a number one batsman in ranking..but then he could never justice with that ranking..

Phil Simmons & Carl Hooper 2 ace fixers both run out. 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂
