My god at the songwriting here. I haven't listened to this song in a good long while and it just knocked my hat off again. Not many songwriters out there that can put a song together like this. Damn near perfect. Might be, actually.
Just saw him this week. Listened and loved it when I was in high school. I just turned 36 and it means so much more now. Mom and dad are having health issues and lifes gone by and I know I haven’t lived to my fullest. I saw him this week and he is still so talented. I went with my parents, dad had a stent put in this week and it’s eye opening that we aren’t immortal.
This is my favorite song from him. I'm really glad there is finally a video that gives it justice on here. I lost his CD when I lost my home, and this makes me feel better. Times ten :)
