      A new DIYer here, what could go wrong if I use 60T for everything?

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @AyoolaBoyejo this is a great question! Technically, you could use a 60 T blade for everything. However, what you’re going to find is that as you start to crosscut things like a 2 x 4, it will be a little bit more difficult to cut… Therefore slowing you down. You could even experience some kickback in your saw if you hit a knot or other tough areas in those types of lumber.
      My recommendation is always to have at least two blades. A 24T blade and a 40 or 60 T blade. This way, you can conquer most situations without any issue. I hope this helps!👍🏼👍🏼

    What kind of 6 1/2 blade would you recommend for a diyer trying to redo his fence ?

    • @ReluctantDIYers
      @ReluctantDIYers  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you’re cutting boards for a fence, I would use at least a 40 tooth blade to get a decent finished cut. 👍🏼

    Actually the 80 tooth blade specifically used for crosscutting and may not be the best way to use when cutting with the grain.
