One of my favorite moments was I got grabbed by a harpy, and carried over the side of a cliff. My pawn said "I shant let you fall!" And immediately used the lightning bolt on the harpy, causing me to fall to my death. I wish i had clipped it
In the video there was a clip from BlackSilverUFA, he had a situation earlier in the game, when he got pissed off by his archer pawn, took her and threw to the water, it immediately got consumed by the beast, he turned to his other two fighter pawns, and his main pawn said "All that aside... We definitely need to think about adding archer to our group". That unscripted moment was golden
The first time I lost a pawn over a cliff I didn't notice until I've piped up saying "it's been a while since we've had a thief amongst our ranks" or something similar, the other pawn concurred, although the tutorial thing popped up about forfeiture first and I didn't draw a connection until I realised that sure enough, the thief was gone and tea'd their last leaf.

I legit do a 15 second stare down of new pawns I get to see if they're showing any symptoms the minute I add them to my party and before I sleep in a town just in case.
Bro I got 4 hours into the "end game" apocalypse phase and then jumped off a 10 foot staircase in a city and died from the fucking fall damage, and thus have to start all the way over lol. Sometimes the fall damage is ridiculous. It feels like you take no damage from falling 8 feet, and then 70% hp from 9 feet. Maybe if your character didn't immediately try and face plant from every jump they'd survive lol.

They're useful cushions. I'll have them wait at the bottom of ladders, come back and jump and have them catch me. They also catch me about 50% to 60% during fights when I'm launched away at death height.
I can't with the wolves and healers man. They just stand there, healing you, and watching as you get repeatedly mauled half to death. It's so fuckin funny.
This is what people say about “need to pay real money for fast travel”. The devs created that griffin to prevent people from fast travel and into MTX store 😂
The one that threw the pawn in the river probably saved quite some trouble down the line - the way she was talking it felt like she was inflicted with the Dragons Plague... Never encountered it myself but if left unnoticed the consequences could be quite terrifying. Also it feels like Capcom is having difficulty dealing with the terrain changes they made. The first game or MH generally has well defined terrain boundaries and it seems like with the changes in DD2 terrain is more realistic and they couldn't improvise the pawn AI or the character movement to that degree.
DD1 l's world was much flatter. This game has much more verticality leading to players hopping around cliffs and mountains and it looks the pawn ai can't quite keep up. In my own playthrough I've actually seen them find smarter and safer routes than I have sometimes lol
The clip where the wolf drags the guy over to the ogre who then smashes him dead had me crying laughing. That streamer is just in complete disbelief. His German screams make it sooo much better.

This my favorite game of the at least the last 5 years
😂 the Griffins are like the Kool Aid man fr
This is the new Hardcore WoW death clips highlight and I love it
Was thinking this too, gold
5:09 Dear God, that freeze frame.🤣😂
*”Baba O’Riley” starts playing*
“Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got in this situation. It all started when…”
Yep that Mystic Spearhand home run hit ability is awesome.
14:03-Garfield just made a Berserk reference for no reason! 🤣🤣🤣
The griffin one happen to me on the oxcart during a mission. I laughed and cried in equal measure
14:07 Holy Christ that's too funny lmao😂😂😂😂
Bro that scene on 14:00 is so funny. I literally chocked on my food.
Such a good situational comedy.
My best moment so far is using a ballista to shoot at a drake from what I thought was a safe distance, only to find out drakes can use MAGIC and have my entire ballista destroyed by a rain of thunderbolts. I did manage to take the drake out by the end but man I went from feeling like a genius to feeling like an idiot real fast. Love this game.
healer and wolfs was so funny i was crying 😂😂😂
15:48 The dragons plague thing, it does kill your major and any npc but you just have to wait an in game week by sleeping or just waiting 7 days
I was wandering along a path next to a small river and a griffon decided to divebomb me. Only he overshot, and immediately died in the deep water^^
10:04 Yada! Yada! Shinu! She definitely knows she'll die and shouts at the entirety of it in denial, it's very relatable to me 😆
12:43 Her reaction made me laugh so much too. 😄There were similar mechanic in the first DD (waiting a little to get this one). Could use it to lure ogres somewhere to make them fall down. Preferably before they grabbed you though haha. Btw I remember there being more things different based on gender, like possible quest lines or something, in the first DD. Curious to find out for this one!
That video just reminded me of classic hardcore death compilations. Damn, those were good, I have to rewatch them.
They're useful cushions. I'll have them wait at the bottom of ladders, come back and jump and have them catch me. They also catch me about 50% to 60% during fights when I'm launched away at death height.
I think it's so funny (and self-aware) that there is a trait that shuts the pawn up. 🤣
I can't with the wolves and healers man. They just stand there, healing you, and watching as you get repeatedly mauled half to death. It's so fuckin funny.
15:55 That's a lot of wakestones 😆
Dude the pawns killing everyone in the city is literally if you let the dragon curse go for weeks in game and let it get so bad they kill everyone
7:28 Never ever would I have imagined to see my favorite german youtuber in one of Asmons videos
0:50 "It's fight or die". At least, he decided something. XD
That throw after he was done, 10/10 shit😂
7:28 when wolves invite you and the cleric for dinner
4:58 NO FAST TRAVEL FOR YOU TODAY
This is what people say about “need to pay real money for fast travel”.
The devs created that griffin to prevent people from fast travel and into MTX store 😂
The kid sent flying and troll drop kicking an illusion which caused it to fall into the river was the best.
Agreed lol
DD1 l's world was much flatter. This game has much more verticality leading to players hopping around cliffs and mountains and it looks the pawn ai can't quite keep up. In my own playthrough I've actually seen them find smarter and safer routes than I have sometimes lol
it sounded like the simple inclination I think they talk a lot
The clip where the wolf drags the guy over to the ogre who then smashes him dead had me crying laughing. That streamer is just in complete disbelief. His German screams make it sooo much better.
@ 3:00 all my pawns decided to drown themselves right here
10:40 that pawn definetly enjoying it.
So sorry our intricate AI is causing major framerate issues everyone.
The AI : 0:49
The one where the dude gets skewered into the rocks and then pummelled with magic was the funniest shit I’ve seen in a while
That pawn infected with covid was a disaster, imagine getting stuck somewhere on a quest line because one of your pawn was mad shit and went kill all on sight
I personally like the mchanic, I hate how much games protect their npc's. This one just let's the world go wild and whatever happens happens. It's so dynamic and unique compared to most games. Besides it's pretty easy to tell when the pawn is sick and prevent it
It’s completely avoidable if you’re paying half the attention you’re supposed to💀
5:115 Now THIS should be a games cover art
So wait are we supposed to love or hate this game? My groupthink module is confused...
methinks tis’ game is not half bad, tis’ really enjoyable once you get the hang of it 😂
but all jokes aside play it for yourself and find out, I personally love it
This wolves are just ninjas that wait for the right moment to attack.
This is the BG3 of this year even with all the drama around it
I had a pawn die for no apparent reason above a dragon, it showed his body being down next to the dragon so I ran down, when I got there the body was now above me...
I also had my pawns just throw them over ledges when I run down.
The wolves running off with your character is also so fucking funny.
I also had cyclops constantly stomping on me, my character couldn't get up. I had 2 mages so I also didn't die.
last time I was this early my dad didn't leave for milk
lmao
I swear it's extremely frustrating when Pawns fall to their death but it's always funny how they manage to do so when they do
