Very excellent footage of everything - nature, bike ride and conditions, along with informative commentary. You essentially brought us there along with you. Well done mate. As for the CB very very impressed. It did phenomenal considering the adverse terrain and incline. Also another very noteworthy thing is you were riding it single handed mostly ✋! That coupled with the jacked up road conditions proves this bike is very worthy and beyond user friendly.

as a 6' and 19st guy i found the back end a tad 'squirelly' on the out of the box setting of 2 when it got a little rougher such as on steep cobbled hills, so turned the preload up to no.4 and now it feels a bit more planted. it only takes a few seconds & a tip that may help someone feel comfier.

The bar razers I found at the bike shop had. 8mm bolts the cb125f has 6mm bolts I got some 6mm set screws from auto barn the same length as the one surplyed with the bar razers seems to work ok cables are still long enough and makes it better when standing on the pegs it was 1inch up and 1inch back cheers
Thanks 👍 must admit if one isnt happy riding there-very hard to please...lol only thing its a bit remote but i had puncture repair in a can and tyre pump plus 500 mil water so all good...lol
Really enjoyed this. Maybe you don't need a AUD$20,000 Enduro to detour from the bitumen in Australia. I would be interested in further updates as to it's longevity, (engine and suspension particularly). I also appreciate that you state "riding to the conditions" for a very inexpensive, low powered, road commuter. Thank you for taking the time to document your experiences with this particular bike.
Something I've wanted to ask you, Warro, how much individually is it to register the bikes you own? Which one do you think is the most reliable. Great scenery up there.
i'd say $700 to $1000 per bike as they are all fully insured too. hard call there but surprisingly i'd say the new enfield 350 reborn is very reliable and i could never say that about the 500's and i had 15 of those. the xmax 300 scooter takes some beating too. nice scenery it is thats for sure slight issue with camera as it shot in flat mode and i dont know how to bring in the colour side
Thanks Warro! Great ride - makes me homesick for Oz. Am looking at one of these babies to start my riding journey in Europe. Would love to see the return vid! Where were those fires at?
good little bike for not much money and runs well too. think you could ride it anywhere within reson. will look into that return clip as im working on part 2 of my solo ride and camp clip
Hi Warro, I’m thinking of going on a few day budget trip by myself to bridle track. Do you think the cb125f would make that in the standard trim? I’m an experienced dirt rider with a dirt bike only, but there is something about completing it on my little cb. I’ve never been to the track nor ridden the cb off road.
i see no real issues riding the cb125f along the track, naturally your aware of its power limits and once that is taken into account all good there. so its a slow and steady approach or will be on the climbs but i think well worth the effort so go ahead. i think you'll enjoy it as its a nice road to ride on. plenty to look at. lots of bird life -lots of wild goats nice areas to camp and beautiful scenery. you might even get to the part where i walked up to the old track and see for yourself how steep that ceawl up the hillside was...lol thats just at the base of the new road bye-pass section. im sure you'll enjoy the experience and the cb125f will do it easy
Can't get the CB125 here in the US. But, we are going to get the XR150 starting this year. It's not fuel injected, like the Navi. So, which bike would you prefer for the off road track you just did, the lightness of the CB125, or the low torqued 350 Classic?
i think id go the cb125 as its almost half the weight. although the 350 rode the bumps much better. saying that though i am running 500 shocks on its rear. seeing i ride by myself and some areas are remote i guess i could take more risks on the 125 as if it fell over i could easily lift it up and ride on. if say the 350 fell over especially on that last hill - id be in a fair bit of trouble there. which one would i prefer outright. the 350 classic is easily the best bike-good looks and feel good moment and your riding a time warp. easily my favourite bike to ride and own. far better than the 500 and much more reliable too.
Awesome, thank you! new clip coming out shortly where i take it to a rough 4wd dirt track to the river. really nice scenery too plus i rescue a big old lizzard crossing the road and save its day.
@@xxlalbatross3287 nice place to ride especially on this great little set of wheels. have another one coming up shortly. plus a bit of the local reptile wildlife rescue too
Soften suspension to 1 Default is 2 It more comfortable in 1 But problem is on highway i feel not much comfortable So on highway i revert it back to 2 default settings
Definitely good 'roo territory there, Warro! That little bike's doing pretty well up the track. That hill seemed to just keep on going! What's started the fires - lightning strikes or some silly bugger playing with matches?
not sure how that fire started but i heard on the news it was out that way and decided to head out there and take a look. i was many klm from it but i think its been burning now for about a week. that last hill is one good hill indeed. bit rough to ride on that stock suspension on the cb125f but it did it ok. i only wanted to ride it and see and not wreck it on the first real run so all went well there.
I am thinking of buying one, maybe tomorrow, to do similar off road trips in New Zealand. Do you have any problems braking on steep loose downhill sections with the front and back brake NOT working independently but together? Thanks.
out on the open road i had no issues on dirt plus the bike is easy to manage but i dont ride it hard either. plus in very steep country and in my history 2 weeks back its in extremely steep country i just put my feet down and walked it along. hill was that steep it wouldnt matter what bike you were on. luck played a bit there. one bad move and on your tail for sure. some-one mentioned smaller front sprocket for netter hillclimbing too. good little bike regardless. pretty happy with it
@@ridewithwarro Thanks. Do you mean walking it along, by sitting on it with legs down, or walking beside it braking. Just watching another of your videos. I have similar plans for over the ditch in NZ. I was surprised to find anyone doing similar trips. My thinking was the same as yours, I think. Low cost adventures and not so financially painful if I drop it. And a way in retirement to get back into riding. I have subscribed, so look forward to seeing more trips.
@@RogerBays yeah walking whilesitting on it.but take into account that was the steepest hill and worse conditions id ever been on. i will get you that clip. plus i went back 3 weeks later on the enfield and it was highly risky ride on it. track was far worse and it weighs 80 kgs more. you can go a lot of places on this cb125f if you resept its only 10 hp and a bit slow on the hills. apart from that its a very good little ride indeed
yeah i will look into that. i didn't stop or talk on the way home as i was moving it along. had to get back before the roos came out. only just made it too as it was a long one hour run and half of it was dirt all the best!
Hello Warro Thanks for the feedback about the Trail 125 seat. Really good production quality here; great work! Very nice scenery; it is definitely about the ride rather than how fast one can get there. Those rough bits look to be a challenge for sure; the CB125F seems to handle it well. How would you compare overall performance of the CB125F to the CT125? Love your work! Thank you and keep it up. Cheers!
its a dangerous thing for me sub wise when i compare bikes but i have owned 2 ct125's this F would easily outperform a ct in all areas. ride quality /handling/performace etc it will run at 80 or 90 kph and up to 100 kph and very nimble and stable on the road. its a really good cheap package. where its ahead of the ct125 is one the price and the new 125cc motor with oil filter and 5 speed box. it does everything well but one. it doesnt look as good as the CT125...lol the CT is a great looking ride indeed....expressed in one word...FUN the F looks more boring or just another new bike. if they bought out the ct125 with this motor and 5 speed box with a clutch i'd buy another one. this would run a bit quicker stock than when i modded my ct125's with the 13t front sprocket. good to hear you also liked the ride out. pretty rough country to take a near new bike even a cheap one but that last hill climb was a doozey...lol
Thanks for the feedback Warro. What you say makes senses; the Postie is not a baby African twin. I bought my CT 2 month ago and haven’t been able to ride it yet due to winter weather. I’m Ready!! Lol. My plan is to ride the CT mostly in town up to 45 mph roads; unlikely to ever take it off road.
Nice ride Warro! I got myself the same bike 4 months ago, totally pleased so far. Could you please show us how you attach your saddlebags on the cb125f? Did you had any issues with your bags on that bike in general?
Hi Warro. Another great video. Could you advise me please. I live in Perth and have recently bought a 350 reborn. I love the bike and would like to ride on some of the gravel roads out here but am a little nervous. Are you happy with the classic 350 on the dirt ? Are the standard tyres OK ? And should I put a sump guard on first ? Do you take any emergency warning device in case you get into trouble ? I have loads of questions which won't fit in here. Is there any chance of you doing a video about the subject. A beginners guide kind of thing ? Keep up the great work man. Cheers.
providing its dirt track your riding and not sand as i have no sand areas where i live stock will be fine. these 350's are ultra reliable so you can head off with no issues to think of. not the case if it was a 500 as ive had many and have no faith in those. if anything maybe a sump guard would be handy plus fit a set of used 500 rear shock as they handle the rough stuff better with those. i sometimes take a phone but i did put slime in both tyres on the halcyon grey 350 but apart from that nothing else. just remember the dirt riding is fine providing you dont try and ride it like a duel purpose dirt bike -that would be asking for issues.
@ridewithwarro4983 Thanks for the advice. It will be nothing extreme. Just the occasional dirt road to get me to the next sealed road. No sand, I can assure you. I think I would be happier with a sump guard. By the way. I commented a few weeks ago about the Indian panniers and frame. I bought the Indian ones. I had a drama getting them but when they came they were fine. Very pleased. Thanks again for the advice.
What a good bike. For the money, what a FANTASTIC bike ! In the UK we do not get the chain enclosure (looks like Brexit is not our only stupid decision). Fit it with a top box & panniers and you would have a go-anywhere practical machine. For the money, this is probably the nearest you can get to the old CZ/MZ 250s the '70s + '80s. The only difference is that your bike is far easier to start, can actually idle, and it is way, way, WAY more fuel efficient. 👍💯
must admit i enjoyed that run in the scrub and it may surprise some how a little 125cc town commuter would handle a really bad road and steep hill climb thrown in. i think lots of people underestimate small cheap bikes but if one rides to conditions and doesn't try to do anything too silly - big surprises. good price too. fuel injected plus 5 speed box with clutch. easy to toss around and runs well at 50/55 and even hit 60 mph so overall a good day on it for me might even take it out on a camp out trip too...lol all the best!
MZ 250s vs. CB125F is price tags aside apples & oranges. The 250s loved to run, guzzled, bitched and fell apart. East German literature did explicitly NOT recommend them for the daily commute. They offered a 125/150ccm series for that purpose too.
@@jochenschrey2909 im pretty hasppy with this one really. i thought it would be junk considering the price but wrong there...lol had it out yesterday on another hard dirt road run on a 4wd track and again it ran exceptionally well. i dont make a habit of washing my new bikes or only if i plan to sell them but today i made an exception a did a clean up on it. again-must admit im impressed with it and far better than a ct125 trail at half the price
In my country CB125F costs 3100euros, I see that in Australia it costs (converted from $) 3200euros. But in my country average monthly neto salary is 1400euros and in Australia I presume it is more than triple?
yeah i think your pretty well on target there or close to it. either way its a pretty good little bike. strange how they market it for sale. here for example the honda ct125 trail cost double the price of the bike in thailand. my thoughts there this cb125f is a better buy and goes better than the trail too for half the money
@@ridewithwarro cool, had that Scone feel about it. P.S I like the CB125f but I'm sort of into scooters these days for the carrying side of things...in saying that. The CB is incredible value.
@@vaalbara yeah ive been through Scone so i know what you mean. ive got a scooter too. a few weeks back bought the new xmax with the digital dash and gps have not ridden it much or not yet but when i get around to it i will...lol not many know how good a scooter is till they experience the ride itself
Holy crap Warro! You hammer the shit out of your bikes😉 You’re getting your money’s worth ✅ Sounds like your arse is getting a workout too! Those cattle grids are damn damaging 😎 Jesus Mary Joseph 🔥 Beautiful scenery though… just beautiful Aussie countryside ⭐️
It must feel gutless after an Enfield J series motor. I still fancy a Hunter 350, but the wee Honda is supposed to do more than twice the mpg. Riding for "fun" up here in Scandinavia is getting costly, only option is for a more economical bike. I dont want to become another "ride a bike for 1 month in the summer" owner.
well there is another option for you a suzuki vstrom 250 sx. i have one of those and it would easily beat a 350 j series motor....and do it effortlessly too. top apeed 150 kph -cruise at 120 kph and much cheaper to buy too. my review is in my history
@@ridewithwarro Im still running a 42yr old XL250S. Its happy at 100kph and will do 130kph downhill with wind, and still gets 90mpg. It does have shit 6v headlight though. Someone offered a swap with a Himalayan a few years back, but no real advantage over the old bike, except for the headlight.....and much heavier.
Own the 125f for my son. Its a great bike! Love ist really. 2 liters per 100 km with two persons (82 kg + 50kg) and medium uphill is realistic and proved. Yesterday i rode the Hunter 350 and i cant stop smiling! The sound is overwhelming and velocity is 1,5x better. I warnt both! And …. The Interceptor 650. because of velocity. My wife will killing me. So i have to make a decission.
Good video Warro, some pretty country down there. I'm a CT fan but the price tag stopped me from buying one, this little CB125F seems better value. I live near a creek & had a red bellied black & a couple of brown snakes in my garden a few weeks back. The council regularly puts down 1080 baits in my area too, farmers are losing stock to wild dogs.
the ct125 is a much better classic looking bike than one of these F models . although i had 2 ct125's there biggest problem to me was their lack of power and no clutch. this is why i think this would outdo the ct125 at half the price plus it has a 5 speed box too. much more comfortable ride too. was on it on this ride for a bit over 4 hours in total dont like snakes at the best of times so really try to avoid them. years back you'd go out of your way to do them in but not the case today. all the best
I love how you show us that all the hype about so-called "adventure" bikes when all you really need is a rugged well built bike! This myth about power and electronics is just BS....
The europeans realised this years a go with their 125cc two strokes.and small 4 stroke road bikes. You can go places the larger adventure bikes can only dream about
i really have no lovalty to bikes i just ride them. if their any good they stay if not i cash and try again. if say someone on a budget couldnt afford a new adv bike but wants to go bush-this bike will do just that. if you want to ride it faster -id say not for long...lol first big bump may have one on his a$$ but if ridden to conditions this cheap bit of honda could go near anywhereyou point it. one part of the hill was that steep it lifted the front wheel in first gear and i was laying towards the bars. if you take an adv bike on that its expected to do it and do it very easy. seeing that little cheap a$$$ honda climb that last hill would surprise many plus one feels good it was tackled too. just a stock bike on stock tyres no air pressure adf -just ride on...lol does everything great too. rides well at 80/90 and even 100 kph. very stable/comfortable/ easy to move around. just misses out on the wow factor of a classic 350 reborn but apart from that a good cheap bike which really doesn't deserve where i took it...lol but thats life! all the best!
@Ride with Warro just bought a 350 after watching you're adventures. Brilliant fun for not much ££££'s. Had an interceptor and the Classic 500 Trials but do prefer this wee bike👍🏻
G'day Warro, that area you have road the little motorbike is quite special with such an Amazing Australia scenic delight, I'm amazed how a road bike is handling the conditions, how did the tyres hold up and did you drop the pressure, Great 👍 video and still shots, I'm going for a long ride tomorrow on the black top to a historic Hotel and lunch with some club members, keep safe mate, Neil 🤠.

Thank you for taking the time to document your experiences with this particular bike.
good to hear you enjoyed it
Love your work you OZZY bastard.
LOL....thanks. glad you enjoyed it!
Something I've wanted to ask you, Warro, how much individually is it to register the bikes you own? Which one do you think is the most reliable. Great scenery up there.
i'd say $700 to $1000 per bike as they are all fully insured too. hard call there but surprisingly i'd say the new enfield 350 reborn is very reliable and i could never say that about the 500's and i had 15 of those.
the xmax 300 scooter takes some beating too.
nice scenery it is thats for sure
slight issue with camera as it shot in flat mode and i dont know how to bring in the colour side

Thanks Warro.
@@ridewithwarro looking forward to it Warro!
Hi Warro, I’m thinking of going on a few day budget trip by myself to bridle track. Do you think the cb125f would make that in the standard trim? I’m an experienced dirt rider with a dirt bike only, but there is something about completing it on my little cb. I’ve never been to the track nor ridden the cb off road.
i see no real issues riding the cb125f along the track, naturally your aware of its power limits and once that is taken into account all good there.
so its a slow and steady approach or will be on the climbs but i think well worth the effort so go ahead.
i think you'll enjoy it as its a nice road to ride on. plenty to look at. lots of bird life -lots of wild goats nice areas to camp and beautiful scenery.
you might even get to the part where i walked up to the old track and see for yourself how steep that ceawl up the hillside was...lol
thats just at the base of the new road bye-pass section.
im sure you'll enjoy the experience and the cb125f will do it easy
@@ridewithwarro thanks for all the information. I’ll definitely give it a go.
@@florme6494 no reason not too. Best riide you will enjoy.just watch out for the wriggle stick if walking about
Can't get the CB125 here in the US.
I am a new follower of your channel. Cheers
Awesome, thank you! new clip coming out shortly where i take it to a rough 4wd dirt track to the river. really nice scenery too plus i rescue a big old lizzard crossing the road and save its day.

@@RogerBays yeah walking whilesitting on it.but take into account that was the steepest hill and worse conditions id ever been on. i will get you that clip.

you can go a lot of places on this cb125f if you resept its only 10 hp and a bit slow on the hills.

only just made it too as it was a long one hour run and half of it was dirt

Hello Warro
Thanks for the feedback about the Trail 125 seat.
Cheers!
its a dangerous thing for me sub wise when i compare bikes but i have owned 2 ct125's
this F would easily outperform a ct in all areas. ride quality /handling/performace etc it will run at 80 or 90 kph and up to 100 kph and very nimble and stable on the road. its a really good cheap package.
where its ahead of the ct125 is one the price and the new 125cc motor with oil filter and 5 speed box.
it does everything well but one. it doesnt look as good as the CT125...lol the CT is a great looking ride indeed....expressed in one word...FUN
the F looks more boring or just another new bike.
if they bought out the ct125 with this motor and 5 speed box with a clutch i'd buy another one.
this would run a bit quicker stock than when i modded my ct125's with the 13t front sprocket.
good to hear you also liked the ride out. pretty rough country to take a near new bike even a cheap one but that last hill climb was a doozey...lol
@@lears6169 plus if you decide you need a bit more power from it -just add a 13t front sprocket and it makes a big difference
Nice ride Warro! I got myself the same bike 4 months ago, totally pleased so far. Could you please show us how you attach your saddlebags on the cb125f? Did you had any issues with your bags on that bike in general?
i will show it on a future ride clip as it may be easier

A great trip, I really enjoyed your video. What was the distance you made on these dirt roads?
i did roughly 40 klm of dirt. next trip out i ride it on a 4wd track to the river in very steep country
@@ridewithwarro thx!

Great video again I’m a bit shorter and a bit heavier than you I put bar razars on mine 1inch up and 1inch back makes better for me cheers
didn't even know you could get riders for it. might be pretty good with those too
What a good bike.
must admit i enjoyed that run in the scrub and it may surprise some how a little 125cc town commuter would handle a really bad road and steep hill climb thrown in.
i think lots of people underestimate small cheap bikes but if one rides to conditions and doesn't try to do anything too silly - big surprises.
good price too. fuel injected plus 5 speed box with clutch. easy to toss around and runs well at 50/55 and even hit 60 mph
so overall a good day on it for me
might even take it out on a camp out trip too...lol
all the best!
@@christga100 looks like you missed this one -th-cam.com/video/_mMM_hS1_bM/w-d-xo.html
MZ 250s vs. CB125F is price tags aside apples & oranges. The 250s loved to run, guzzled, bitched and fell apart. East German literature did explicitly NOT recommend them for the daily commute. They offered a 125/150ccm series for that purpose too.
@@jochenschrey2909 im pretty hasppy with this one really. i thought it would be junk considering the price but wrong there...lol

Good video Warro, some pretty country down there. I'm a CT fan but the price tag stopped me from buying one, this little CB125F seems better value. I live near a creek & had a red bellied black & a couple of brown snakes in my garden a few weeks back. The council regularly puts down 1080 baits in my area too, farmers are losing stock to wild dogs.
the ct125 is a much better classic looking bike than one of these F models . although i had 2 ct125's there biggest problem to me was their lack of power and no clutch.
this is why i think this would outdo the ct125 at half the price plus it has a 5 speed box too.
much more comfortable ride too. was on it on this ride for a bit over 4 hours in total
dont like snakes at the best of times so really try to avoid them. years back you'd go out of your way to do them in but not the case today.

I love how you show us that all the hype about so-called "adventure" bikes when all you really need is a rugged well built bike! This myth about power and electronics is just BS....

i really have no lovalty to bikes i just ride them. if their any good they stay if not i cash and try again.
if say someone on a budget couldnt afford a new adv bike but wants to go bush-this bike will do just that.
if you want to ride it faster -id say not for long...lol first big bump may have one on his a$$
but if ridden to conditions this cheap bit of honda could go near anywhereyou point it.
one part of the hill was that steep it lifted the front wheel in first gear and i was laying towards the bars.
if you take an adv bike on that its expected to do it and do it very easy. seeing that little cheap a$$$ honda climb that last hill would surprise many plus one feels good it was tackled too.
just a stock bike on stock tyres no air pressure adf -just ride on...lol
does everything great too. rides well at 80/90 and even 100 kph. very stable/comfortable/ easy to move around.
