The reason I prefer Jeff's card game content over anyone else's, especially on TH-cam, is that he ALWAYS explains his lines and logic behind them as if we're watching his content for the first time on every video. I always finish a video feeling like I learned more about the game.
In the TCG we call cards that have both a single prize and a multi prize card in the format “baby” for the single prize version. So here it would be Marowack ex and baby marowack. Not sure if that naming convention will catch on in the Pocket community but it is a bit easier to say
Cracking deck this is, been using this a little bit today and has came in so clutch! You’re right when you say the new marowak deck is great for Pikachu decks but not for Charizard and Mewtwo. This one works wonders against those 2
This is the deck I play. Even with he weakness to psychic marrowak can high roll mewtoo so you always have a fighting chance. Sabrina is a card you always have to keep in mind because of the high retreat costs. If you don’t like coin flips then maybe avoid lol. A lot of closes games come down to marrowak hitting a 50/50 once and that variance can be a tough pill.
Personally I run, event mankey into primeape rather than marowak. For 2 energy it does more consistent damage. Start with the mankey attack for 30, evolves next turn attack for 100. This can 1 shot pikachu ex for just 2 energy.
If you only evaluate cards in their best possible situation - they all seem good. Primate is solid when going second against Pikachu, but it is really mediocre into a lot of other things dealing fast damage and is pretty bad when going first.
Was playing a similar list but with hitmonchan over the marowak line, it hits similar break points and is a basic. Requires 2 attacks from mewtwo to get koed like marowak does, and Hitmonchans jab into machamps megapunch 2 hit kos mewtwo just the same as wak
@@JP-wm1qz In the final game, the opposing Dragonite had 10 HP and Jeff had a Giovanni in hand. If Marowak EX gets two tails, it will do 0 damage, whether you play Giovanni or not. Because of this, it can be reasoned that Giovanni adds 10 damage for every heads, but that's not the case. It's just that if a move does 0 damage, it is considered a miss, and damage increasers won't affect the result.

Mmm. I like that. Will try to start using it moving forward.

I had lost all hope for a Machamp EX deck that doesnt feel bad to play in the current meta but this one feels SO good to play. Really nice work!
That Machamp alt art is sooo good!°° i need it!
Hoogland style is the best style in Pocket
Dude I just pulled a 8 win streak with this deck, really great
Another brilliant post.

Chans break points are very different in non mewtwo match ups. It dies in one to Pikachu and takes 3 attacks to knock a Pikachu out.
I can almost play this deck!!! I just need to pull 2 x Machoke T_T
I was a little caught off guard by the giovanni coin flip interaction, do you get 10 extra damage per heads, or just +10 as long as you get any heads?
Only 10 with any heads.
What are you talking about?

@@connorhamilton5707 oh right that makes sense. I thought he was talking about a giovanni coin flip and was confused. Thanks
Cubone or Cutebone?
The full art is so good.
