Since PS1 doesn't have pressure sensitive buttons, you can actually just get Brooks / 8BitDo / Blueretro wireless adapters and use DualShock 4 or PS5 Dualsense controllers with them. Since the PS2 does need that pressure sensitivity for quite a few games though, these Defenders are a decent option. I have a pair and use them but decided to mainly use original DualShock 3 controllers for PS2 instead due to those over-sensitive L2 and R2 triggers on the Defender.
Have you tried updating the firmware for the controller + the dongle, Wicked? Also.... you need to practice your Electric Wind God Fists to truly test that D-Pad in Tekken 3 👍
Best review of this controller by far , but does it have true pressure sensitive buttons for PS2 titles that use that function ? For example MGS3 or GT4...
I don't need a controller but I like this. D-pad centric.
I have multiple Retro Fighters controlles and I like them all. I use the Defenders a lot with my PS2 , and they work really good 🤘🎮🕹🍻
I have 3 wireless and 1 Bluetooth version and I love mine too lol. I have small to average sized hands and they fit mine perfectly.👍
I have bought a total of 6 Retrofighters controllers and the Defender is my go to wireless controller for PS2/PS1
Looks really nice.
I use the retro fighters GameCube version as a wireless switch controller
That is the last one I need to test here 😆
@@WickedGamerCollectorif u have a switch use it as a wireless switch controller

The PS4 controller looks really nice. It comes out next month.

My only complaint is that it doesn't have the same D-pad as official Playstation controllers, the latter which I enjoy immensely for fighting games.

I know the Bluetooth version of the Defender does as I have tested it on my PS3 which has a game pad tester app
Is it more durable than the RetroFighters DreamCast controller? Triggers broke the first day we used it, and the d-pad was defective from the start.
Is this working on macOS ?
👍👍™️
Name of that space shooter game please
R-Type Delta it's on original Playstation.
Haven't watched one of your vids in a while. Just wondering which emulation console is the best in 2024?
