When John Prine passed and started smoking that 9 mile long cigarette I cried. I felt I had lost something that I would never see again, something that lived in and with him, His gift. I see that same gift here. Praying that you do not have to wait until your sixties, little brother, for the world to find and appreciate this same gift in you.

I knew one, Jeremy Albrecht. He was an young multi-instrumentalist and visual artist whose talent far surpassed mine when I met him (he was 16, I was 23). We were in a band for a while but he went on to other projects. Sadly he jumped off Forest Hill Bridge around ‘06 or ‘07.
Didn’t want to be a parasite (his view of human beings was quite negative) He didn’t quite make it into to the 27 club (he was 26). Not meant for this world.
His visual art was like HR Giger-Intricate, but beautiful and profoundly disturbing.

He's already had a bunch of bands and done a bunch of tours and released a bunch of albums. His voice is really rough now and I think something happened between the last album and now , But it seems to have resulted in him finding this genuine voice and niche and it's so well suited to the new music . @jonmurph589 Look into hairoiling. Castor oil, avocado oil, batana oil, rosemary oil,....
you can buy them and mix them together at home.
There are also pre mixed oils from golab beauty, batanaful, ceduce hair oil. These brands are marketed towards women, but they work the same way for men.
Apply it on your scalp and massage it in. Leave it in for min 1 hour, max 4 hours. Then wash your hair like normal.
The nutrients in these oils get absorbed by your hairfolicals and your hair grows stroger, thicker, longer and there will be less hairfall.
Dont use a lot of oil, one bottle of thes brands should last about 6 months.
Use just enogh to cover the skin of your scalp.
The first two times doing it there will be more hairfall than you are used to because the hairfolicals start a new haircycle.
And you obviusly need to give it time and stay consistent for results to really show, hair grows slowly.
(My hair started to fall out at around 16 and it got worse over time. i started hairoiling at 19 and it stopped my hairloss and it reversed most of it. My hairs got thicker, stronger and more dense. I got about one cm in the corners of my hairline back and ive got better hair now than i ever had before.)

Me too! Found Jesse a couple weeks ago. The Dylan movie was excellent. The comparisons are apt, irrelevant, true and silly. Mr Welles is somebody else altogether.
His political stuff hits like a fist, but his personal songs make so many of us weep with a storm of empathy, shock and wonder...
      So grateful to be here.

Some times you hear a song and lyrics and it’s like those words existed to be combined this way and now they’re living their full potential. It was their destiny. That’s the way I feel with every Jesse Welles song I hear.

    "Wondering to myself if life
    Could be anything nicer"
I felt this in my bones. I wondered if my lot in life for years was anything more than getting knocked around, because everywhere I went I was grabbed or smacked around including work. I told people at school, but they couldn't save me as a girlfriend in a DV situation even in HS, because I was 18. The system failed me with my parents when I was young enough. I figured it was just destined to be my life.
    It wasn't.

Stay strong brother! You can do it. I beat the odds and it’s your turn! God has you back, turn to him. “Higher power” that AA pitched for years is too convenient and lacks the power to fully release you. Go to Jesus, brother. None of us are too intellectual, none of us are strong enough alone, none of us have what it takes to die on our feet, without him. You can do this. Let your last relapse be your *last* relapse.

Bro you have many skills and a huge amount of wisdom packed in your music. Your vocals are extremely rare and speak at magical levels that our people need. I am just an old shaman that knows medicine comes in many forms as toxins do. You sir are the antidote for the toxins that poisoned our people to mental hibernation. I thank Father Creator of All Most High to finally see and hear the voice of a true Bard. Please continue and don't stop. Our people need the medicine you bring.
