Some times you hear a song and lyrics and it’s like those words existed to be combined this way and now they’re living their full potential. It was their destiny. That’s the way I feel with every Jesse Welles song I hear.
"Wondering to myself if life Could be anything nicer" I felt this in my bones. I wondered if my lot in life for years was anything more than getting knocked around, because everywhere I went I was grabbed or smacked around including work. I told people at school, but they couldn't save me as a girlfriend in a DV situation even in HS, because I was 18. The system failed me with my parents when I was young enough. I figured it was just destined to be my life. It wasn't.
Me too. I was former opera singer gone punk...l Your vocals are a joy to hear each time, a bit new. Thanks for all you bring to us to share in these days of ours.
Stay strong brother! You can do it. I beat the odds and it’s your turn! God has you back, turn to him. “Higher power” that AA pitched for years is too convenient and lacks the power to fully release you. Go to Jesus, brother. None of us are too intellectual, none of us are strong enough alone, none of us have what it takes to die on our feet, without him. You can do this. Let your last relapse be your *last* relapse.
Bro you have many skills and a huge amount of wisdom packed in your music. Your vocals are extremely rare and speak at magical levels that our people need. I am just an old shaman that knows medicine comes in many forms as toxins do. You sir are the antidote for the toxins that poisoned our people to mental hibernation. I thank Father Creator of All Most High to finally see and hear the voice of a true Bard. Please continue and don't stop. Our people need the medicine you bring.

I might cry if I listen to this again. I'm pretty close right now...
I can’t love this song enough
Another amazing song! Keep it up man! Love will prevail!
Excellent songwriting! A breath of fresh air! Thank you!
Love your music man👍 you remind me of Neil Young, and Woodie Guthrie at the same time
Me too. I was former opera singer gone punk...l
Your vocals are a joy to hear each time, a bit new.
Thanks for all you bring to us to share in these days of ours.
Even with crickets Jesse is heard. Thank you- needed this today. Keep being awesome in the greenery and love to you and yours.
I can't stop listening to this song. Day 5 clean after a relapse. It's so healing to me.
Somebody pray the drink out of me please!!!!! Pretty please
Get your songs on vinyl Jesse, we need them in case all computers crash, keep on singing and playing I LOVE your songs!
You are a treasure sir. Bob Woody Mellencamp.. Hope lives in protest song
This the gave me chills. ❤️
I have to say this is one of my favourites.
Wow. You're in a league of your own
He should’ve been around in the 60’s love his songs. After the 60’s they said goodbye to folk music.
Jesse is right on time!
You're doing great, Jesse. Your passion has joined your ability to produce an amazing musician.
So talented, I am in love with his sound !
This song is my favorite so far Jesse. I can’t stop listening to it. It’s so relatable. I thought I would die young too and maybe I wanted to. But I just turned 30 and I’m still here so I guess I’ll keep going. Thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us 🩵💜💙
This one has the best melodies in any of his songs I've heard so far, imo. Listening repeatedly
Your singing and wordin and feeling of feelings is making me cry. Keep it up brother
