Real music, from a good heart and deep soul. No drum machines, no auto tune, no multiple takes.
Welles works for over a decade and makes no headway in music. Then he strips away everything. No band. No production values. No nice gear. He wandered into the woods with a funny old guitar so it's just pure, unadulterated Welles, and it's what we were all waiting for without even knowing it.

I will say it sounds like his voice is a little rougher and I can't help but wonder if something happened there, medically or just living too hard on the road or whatever LOL. As a singer, I'd imagine that can be pretty fucking devastating, And I hope that if he worried, He can rest assured now that he found a good Lane. That said, If it's just a way that he can work his voice and still has his more polished version, Good on him!

There is nothing like good music to stimulate your inner feelings make you feel alive, happy, put a smile on your face you feel joyful. I have felt all of these emotions while listening to this young man. The wonderful thing about good music age has nothing to do with it because it takes us to a different place it is wonderful. This young man has a very special talent, he has been blessed. I think age is just a no, we are as old as we think, it is best not to get hung up on a number if we are healthy. I think Jesse will appreciate your positive comment, he certainly deserves it. I like you wasn’t borne yesterday as they say I have been around for a time myself . Oh my god. I just discovered Jesse Welles 20 minutes ago. This is the 3rd song of his I have heard, and I am fucking smitten. Some of his lyrics feel to me like they were pulled from some recess in my own head. It's so rare for me to hear lyrics that are so relatable.

hes speaking on issues we all deal with and putting it in an entertaining way that makes you think on it. people have been doing it forever, and republicans recently have been swapping the entertainment part with just hateful "solutions" to non related issues

I've been writing music as well for years but just kept it in my secret place for fear of negative comments before, now I think that is about to change. Thank you, Jesse Welles, I guess fear is really a mind killer.

A hint to help you through that.
Fear and excitement feel non distinctive in our bodies.
So with practise, they can be swapped!

@@mandla-nkosi Fear is your worst enemy that lies within you holding you back from accomplishing what you can in life. You are your own worst enemy if you don’t let go of fear.
