this is one of my most beloved tanks in the game, there are a couple of things i would change but i still enjoy myself in this piece of junk, it is funny because a lot of people underestimate this thing in battle and make mistakes, im just a muppet player but this thing gives me a great time
I love how people were criticizing the tank when it first came out. It's literally tier 8.5
Same I was finally able to three mark this tank. It's definitely not the best tank but when you find yourself in that perfect situation, you will be farming.

i think WG should create a no-gold ammunition-week, just once per month, so people can learn about weak points more and some super heavy tanks user can enjoy BEING super heavy

I got this VK 75.01 on the cheap with a mission and all you said is true. Open maps are difficult, can't use terrain well due to poor gun depression, lower frontal plate is cheese, terrible mobility leaves you unable to relocate easily, and reds flank you like you are a turtle. Reload is very slow, so reds constantly rush you between shots. It is all about the gun, but you MUST let the reticle close FULLY or you will miss. Sidescrape whenever you can, but only on corners where you expose the RIGHT side of the turret (cupula is on the left). My win rate with this VK is 50% and consider that good.
I love the VK75.01 - it was my first premium tank, and I still love playing it today. Have some good crews now to go in it - thanks for showing it again!

I actually love this tank XD even tier 10s think twice when you slap them for ~500 DMG
I have 1 heavy tank setup and 1 fake TD setup works pretty well for me closing on that third mark
Plus it has usable armor which forces players to actually think before shooting, even tier 10s can bounce on careless shots.
skill is not a great tank but i think you have to remove the vents and try this with the bounty improved aiming (i think the accuracy from the medium range give opportunity to play better the heavy support role of this tank) and i think is one of the tank have to be played with at least bounty equipment like t77 or t34

German tank, on open map, worlds finest optics and long range gunnery designs (of their period) are modeled so weak in the game, even great player such as skill suffer terribly.

Skill here is right here. You need to see this tanks limits when your in a losing battle so YOU can put that damage in before you die. Also before you regret and say Wtf did I buy?? I refuse to watch other tank videos that just post 1 great gameplay. That's why skill is great.

Well, actually I like this tank. Only mobility sux. Armor works fine at sidescrap. Alpha has fear factor. And I'm used to lack of gun depresion.
A good size of the gun makes up for the depression, I guess.
I Like this tank very much! What I Dont Like the most about this tank is Long reload time and gun depresion It could be little bit better. I can adjust about other things.

This is actually my favorite tank! armor usually works better than in the video, but an average game might look like those three skill had. i also never shoot gold with it, as a matter of principle. I run two repair kits and side scrape a lot more tho
If we have horrible mondays, couldnt we have beautiful fridays when you are playing good (very good) tanks and premium tanks as well?

Jokes beside, it can be a "good" tank if you have platoon mates that support you, I prefer it to current year Löwe tbh. Alone you are in kaku.
Definately not a great tank, but it can work, just not alone in random battles.

this Panzer should get armor layout of the VK-B - then it might work out as a balanced tank

I imagine VK being like an E100 in a way. Get a corner to dig in and shoot, reload, shoot, reload and hope enemies make mistakes.
IS-M is great, Chrysler is kinda OK. I don't have this VK whatever but it's slow and gun is derpy
I got the 7501 from some kind of give away from WG last year, have about 50 games in it. Actually I'm having good rounds and the win rate of those 50 games are pretty high, like 65%. But one thing is that I only play 7501 when I am platooning with my friends and I know I can get some support. Otherwise, yea, not a good tank in many aspects.
Almost every tank gets shredded when tanks are enemy shooting gold ammo.
“Almost” indeed. I shot a Maus in the lower plate with Grille 15 HEAT round and it didn’t do shit.
Though arty just nukes Maus’ within seconds anyway, so I feel bad for Maus players.

@@jefersongalvao8838 thankfully, here on console we’re getting the Sturmtiger as a tech-tree Tier 10 TD, and the entire line, starting at Tier 5, is all derp guns and the Tier 9 (the Sfl. Bär) is going to get a 305mm cannon which, in theory, should be able to overmatch the side of a sidescraping 705A. >:)
@@jefersongalvao8838 so hull down tanks and the likes aren’t meta for us anymore. Though I haven’t heard if the Sturmtiger line is coming to you guys on PC. I would love to see Skill play with a Sturmtiger or Tier 9 Bär.
I have this tank and it's so bad. You can only sidescrape as you say, and even here they can shoot you with gold.
There is nothing good besides the Alpha damage, but with the non existing gunhandling you often miss - so even the gun is bad.
I love this tank. It is my love. I know there are better tanks in game, but i just like the big alpha and how the tank looks.
Honestly this tank is so much better than IS-M

It isnt that bad tank in most tanks you are schredded like hot knife tho the butter whit premium bullets and in my opinion even whit standard bullets but its important to aim for weakspots
If you want to play a German tier 8 heavy also with big alpha and better armour, albeit slower, then better not to spend money and just grind to the vk 100 01 p
Wow that armour is bad. Udes pend you well angled with a standard ap round from the 90mm gun
I enjoy this tank. Its by no means the best tier 8 heavy. But it can be great in city maps, and in tier 6/7 battles it can really punning lower tier tanks.
0:43 What What Whaaat? It has a penetrateable weakspot? This is disgusting its truly terrible, how dare WG give a tank a weak weakspot....oh wait its german that makes sense.
What do you think about techtree T10 and T9 variant of this tank? I know about that big weak spot at the side of the tank and I think I can work around it. But what are your opinions?
The Problem for me is: whenever I get light tanks I go to city maps, all the time. When I take VK out of the Garage... 3 arty open map 😒😒 thanks skill
Hey Skill4ltu! I got this tank and it is okay tank just because the alpha dmg. Gun handling depends on RNG and I would rather play Lowe anytime than this tank.
Something is strange with the VK 75.01 (K) right now. Recently I've had loads of great games in mine, despite being a pretty crap player. And not even using much gold ammo. Did it get a stealth buff?
Yeah it's very accurate now.Maybe they reduced the dispersion and the dispersion during turret move.And they have buffed the armor.It bounces quite a lot now.
yes WG gave him 750 alpha gun with 14s reload in tier 8. It just says 490 but it actually hits for 750. You just can never notice it because of 25 % RNG and it always rolls low for this tank so you only hit for 500 or so.

I know you dont like this tank,but i have to say you played it like you was a god,just not so lucky with your tesmmates,i finde that when Playing a diffucalt/Hard to Play things like the VK and others slow and with a rearmounted turret,i have to have a good Team otherwise you i a very bad place 😬

The gun misses too much for such a long reload. Several tanks in the game have that sort of parasitic RNG problem, the built in automatic miss at critical times.
Played 5 games in it when people could buy it and give rental code played 5 games average 3K damage with over 3K+ Wn8 so can't complain but it has it shortcomings but all bottom tier heavy tanks are basicly handicapped
Neither are good, but I hate the Chrysler compared to this tank. With the Chrysler, you rely on your broken armour profile too much, which also means you are negated just as badly by the 2 key. Also in the Chrysler, people are more willing to yolo you because the 320 alpha gun has no fear factor.
I love this tank. It is balanced unlike skoda t56. I love sidescraping and high alpha dmg not to mention it has better gun handling than Defender.
I enjoyed this tank only at garage :) there is pretty, but at battle :D

I think it's balanced like Premiums should be.
Good gun statistics-wise but unreliable,
Good armor statistics-wise but unreliable,
A decent slab of HP,
Pretty balanced and can do loads of damage in the right hands, but is punished for bad plays. Balanced in my book.
The 252 on the other hand...loads of damage in the right hands, loads of damage in the wrong hands, godlike armor with incredible reliability, good pen and good damage for the gun, no punishment for bad plays. I have literally rushed Tier 10s with ease in the 252 and came out on top with little more than a scratch on the front of the tank. 252 is good but very unbalanced and terrible for Tier 6s to play against, VK75 is good but is easily punished if in a bad situation. Balanced.

@@johnmcpudding857 oh yeah most of my tanks are paper armor but hit hard, I’m just saying that when I DO play a tank that’s supposedly heavily armored, and has it’s balance revolving around its armor, that gold spam just completely shreds it making it a pointless vehicle.
this tank is one of my examples of "overly balanced Tanks" where the balancing factors are so overwhelming that the positive things of the tank are in result pathetictly weak
just compare this tank DPM with the new Skoda and even with full equipment and food you manage the same dpm

It's a low tank, not to be used to charge opponents. Better used in defence, ideally if protected by walls.

I liked watching your video, but i think you are wrong about this tank, this is not a BAD tank, this is a playable tank that can be good in city map, and i find the accuracy (when fully aimed) pretty good and the armor works quiet well if you can hide the copollers.
The basic penetration is about 225 mm wich is good to avoid premium shells in tier VIII battle and so to make money. And this alpha rocks !
I mean, this is not a tank that you are suppose to play on monday in my opinion ;)
3rd game was also a poor decision to go to the spot vs 3 enemies and stay at the same spot for too long, that's why the char futur banged you in the ass...

i hope you will read this comment one day. I have this tank and i loved it from the first day we meet. She is far from perfect, but she (vk 75.01) is mine. Lets start from her head, Cupola too visible or /and too weak. Her cheaks are beautiful and she does not allow to be "kissed" by anyone, but can be penetrated by any Premium ammo or even ordinary ammo with more pen power. Turret sides too weak also, so to say if you look straight you get kissed into cheaks, if you turn, you get unwanted kiss from stranger to sides, and sadly you cant say no....
Turret rotation very slow, no gun depression.
Premium ammo penetration too low, there are plenty of 8 tier mediums with better pen.
Gun handling not good. reload is way too slow.
She is also slow and clumsy, like a cow (sacred animal in India) in a china shop.
She is meant to be sidecraper, but sides are bit too weak. Front lower plate too weak, if penned to front armor 50% you get heart broken.
Nevertheless people say that you cannot command your heart and cannot chose with whom you to fall in lowe,
PLEASE mend by bleeding heart and balance my love.
PS. would advise to make a simple toggle between going faster lets say +7km/h and faster reload lets say minus 3 sec. So to say to make it like terran tank in SC2/SC3.
