i dont think so because realistically (and i know its not about being realistic but still) having such a gun IS the reason it can not have high camo while firing. it just wouldnt make sense to have the same camo as a single shot gun behind the bush

I have seen one use of it that was creative , on Prokhorovka they would spray suspected bush lines with the autocannon to flush out things like super stealth ELCs. Not really sure how it worked , but it happened to me twice in my ELC.
Same. I didn't move, it did 200 but because it was spraying through so many bushes it couldn't see the impacts of misses or hits, so I just sat there. Meanwhile the ISUK just a bit behind me fired right back down the line of bushes to 'spot' the buzzbrat by turning it into a wreck.
this tank definitely can have a buff of faster shell velocity to at least 900 for ap and 1200m/s for apcr, HE can keep the same at 720m/s to restrict to close combat, then we can use the 12% faster shell velocity from loader skill to make AP speed up to over 1000m/s, apcr to 1400m/s and he to 800m/s, which should help this tank a lot, a bit smaller bloom on early 25 shells could also help
Real problem of the Tesak (and the whole branch) is that... they're light tanks trying to be Medium. The thing is, light role is way too essential to play like a med and you're ending playing the worst T10 scout (Sheridan have worse camo, but way better viewrange) trying to compete agaist faster and stealthier lights. Tesak need HP buff (as "DPM lights like RHM and Sheridan have 1600 HP) and/or viewrange/camo boost to be on par. Finally, WG have to create a new role for light (with Sheridan and WZ132-1 and maybe RHM) to avoid having a no-match against a Manticore or T100LT on Prokho for example.
Since this tank has a 57 mm gun, i would lower its firerate and give it 85 damage (or a bit lower) like tier 5 t34 with its 57 mm gun. Maybe this could punish enemies faster for less time exposed, like leopard at tier 5
I feel bad for my team mates because they usually don't understand the tesak can't spot very well but I tried to make it up to them by surviving long enough to eat as much ass as possible mid game and to use my speed to rescue teammates in a dangerous brawl
When I first heard about these I thought they were going to be horribly OP because I would thought they would be like all the machine gun tanks in the lower tiers where every time you get bursted you get penned by at least half to 3/4 of the rounds and they almost always kill a crew member or do damage to a component or both. But having played against a few now they're not that bad to deal with at all. I think if they made the lower tier machine gun tanks a little bit more like these they'd be a lot more reasonable but as they are.. we'll just play a lower tier game once and see which team absolutely wipes the floor with the other team.. it's the one with more machine gun tanks.. especially if they have a t7 car
Got a feeling auto cannons simply don't fit into WoT because of how damage is being done in general - by reducing hit points. In other game auto cannons annihilate vehicle internal modules and crew whenever they can get through armor. And iirc, wot devs decided against critical hits because of high fire rate, effectively making Czech lights useless by design.
That's not it, autocannons are like autoloaders who can't peak a corner because it takes so long for them to do less damage than the autoloader would Though most people don't know how to play autoloaders either, so the average potato shouldn't suffer much more than in old tanks
You cant judge a vehicle by how it does in only random battles, there are other theatres of combat in this game. Sure its a niche vehicle, but so are most light tanks.
this is actually what Leopard does, surprisingly: Tesak doesnt kill or knock too many modules cuz the damage is low, and modules at that tier have a lot of hitpoints
best thing about this tank is the ammo cost tbh, the gold doesnt cost 3x the normal amount and isnt just an upgrade like it is normally lets just take that small W
I have not played the Czech light tanks yet, but I have met lots and lots of them in the game and they performed absolutely dismally throughout ... rarely doing much direct or assist damage, always dying within minutes. They did also poorly against French wheeled tanks despite their huge damage potential against soft targets, which is especially disappointing as the moronic Mariokarts kill the fun of the game. I think this line is a missed opportunity.

I understand that the line is new and all, but I cannot wait until the hype dies down. The amount of bad Blesk drivers I have met throughout my battles really make me wonder what goes through their heads. I have seen them countlessly yolo in to do 100-200 dmg, or drive with the heavies to the heavy lane. What's the point of using the "ratatatata" gun when you're going face to face against an E75?
The worst part of these tanks is them being considered scout light tanks so often the other team will get an actual useful scout like a EBR, T-100, etc while you're stuck with something that can't spot anything.
ebr is not in the same category because wheelies have their own slot, i would suggest puttin in the amx light as it does a simmilar job with the burst damage
They nerfed the criticals on thoses tanks so they don't get overpowered but in fact it make them seriously underpowered. What make the A20 powerfull is that I can burst a lot of critical with my 37mm autocannon (wich for all purpose should actually be the same gun than the Tchecoslovakian)...
I don't know, after the EBRs I thought WG couldn't find anything more ridiculous and, yes, it is hard to match those "on a dime turns" and Olympic level sommersaults. Then came a host of abherrations, including the BZ-176 and, before that the ELC (who would even squeeze inside that miniscule box?), ... both premium, off course. This one may not be OP, but it feels ridiculous just the same. I am playing less and less, although I also like a lot of things in this game. I think I will stop playing before Xmas as I am not feeling like paying once again for the boxes (basically my only yearly contribution).
This is how I would buff the Tesak: Penetration buff of 15mm for AP and APCR Increase camo from 15.2% to 20% Increase the alpha and decrease the magazine size while preserving total clip damage. Like 50 shells at 18 alpha instead of 75 shells at 12 alpha (standard AP) Pen buff helps increase average damage due to less random bounces, camo buff to stay hidden while looking for ass, +alpha-clipsize so you can make shorter peeks for the same damage
I like the tier 8. But I gave in to the fact it's not a great scout. So I have no scouting equipment on mine. N if I have to scout, i have a set up with binoculars n I just park in a bush
Meanwhile for those who are grinding Czech lights, we are using them without "Field Mods" (at least how I do) which is a BIG factor... Tier IX-X meh... But tier VIII with 2 good set-ups + Field Mods will be really fun to play with, especially when you can clip out Bourasques, weak TDs and other LTs like you are shooting butter :) As when I went for Sheridan (for me) would be better just to keep T-49 for the fun!!!
Honestly they could make this tank into an overheat mechanic: make it have infinite clip but your gun overheats if you shoot too much and needs to cool down
Autocannons are for soft targets such as infantry, cars, planes. It took 2 bradleys to knock out a t70 by damaging its optics. It didnt destroy it just knocked it out. Auto cannons have always struggled with armor.
WG probably didn’t want to do a repeat of Armored Warfare (and to some extent War Thunder) where IFVs were effectively the best tank destroyers because of their sheer firepower output
Being experienced with actual GOOD Auto-Cannons in Armored Warfare back when that game had some promise, I would say what's "flawed" with WOT's Auto-Cannons is I think it needs to be MUCH FASTER on the "Low-End" that is in "Power & Acceleration" and it needs to take much LESS Damage when "bumping" into tanks. So, this type of tank it needs to be able to be an expert at "Circle Booming".... So, it needs to be able to get into the back/sides of tanks well in order to do its proper allotment of damage, and when doing that, it's going to bump tanks, so it needs to NOT take as much damage when doing so. These I think are the areas they are "flawed" in.
i hope the vehicle sucks enough that no one is playing it and u rarely have the guy that goes full yolo and wastes his entire tank for whole clip. The most annoying part with this tank like with borat or elc even 90 is not that it can do crazy things by itself, its just preventing u from doing things since u dont wanna drive into an early agressive position and be -900 at the start of the battle.
keep hearing this but also people complaining it will make games faster and that they dont like faster games. So maybe slow down. make the game last longer and out spot the tank. cant be super aggro and end the game quick then complain about 5 minute games.

Originally I was under the impression that the clip would regenerate after some down time , when I saw the common test my thought was it was just a normal autoloader with brrrr which is fun for a little but I can’t imagine the novelty lasting long ?

Skill i really dont want to be that guy with 51% WR to backseat game you, but maybe the key is to use less autoaim, second game you notice how many HE u bounced on the selma, aswell as the 212 Arta when u started aiming for the lower plate. ofc you do you and you still would kick my ass in the game 50 games out of 50, but i think that trying to aim manually and hold the aim would be a key to improve the damage per clip significantly in thos situations
I think that those ratatatata vehicles have only purpose of clearing bushes quite effectively via blind fires, for example when playing in a platoon or even in some lower ranked CWs... On maps like Prokhorovka where you need the vision but you can't get that vision, and your teammates are getting outspotted you just spam bursts in typical bushes see if enemy team has LTs there (not for high level of gaming in clan activities because a great player can get use of any other LT same as this one but much better). That's pretty much it IMHO...
Because of these machine gun tanks I saw 5 tanks (4 on the enemy side and 1 on our side) earn the same Special Achievement. I can't remember if it was the Master Gunner (5 pen hits in a row) or Sharpshooter (10 hits in a row), but it was great example of WG ridiculous reaching for more and more gimmicks, instead of producing a better balanced battle experience.
4:36 I was in my Vz on saturday, and it was me (vz 55), is-3-II, E100 hugging that inside hill from north spawn on this map fighting south... sometime in the beginning on the game one of these things, lpt 67, comes flying over the hill behind us, NONE OF US ARE PAYING ATTENTION, and he just lets us all have a clip. I see this as an opportunist's tank: something that doesn't guarantee a victory, but when you figure out where and how to run it, it can do work! Edit: An idea for a challenge with this tank: cause a critical hit to every single module to an enemy vehicle in the course of a battle.
I wonder if you spray a bush is it easyer to figure out hidden tanks as you throw so much ammo in to the bush or is it just harder to see when the shels are disapearing
This tank is overhaul not op at all but if your a lightly armored tank it's just really not fun to play agains't it, when playing light and see a tesak on enemy team i outright turn away now if it get spotted near anywhere i want to go because the number of time it 1 clipped me is ridiculous
It's almost like IFVs (autocannons) need anti-tank missles to deal with armor... There really isn't any good way to balance these in WoT. They dont do well against tanks. Add infantry, cars and airplanes for them to shoot at. Its what they where designed for. Not fighting other tanks.
Guns like this do not work when you have to keep falling back in increments to use view range and camo to punish mediums and heavies pushing in to you.. this is a tank that only operates well when flanking an unsuspecting enemy...
remove the he round, buff the pen by like 15% + - 5% on both remaining ammo types, buff camo a little. there is zero reason for the tank to only be good against tanks with light armor. which is mostly the lower tier tanks in a match.
the RoF as well as low damage and insane "only if" situations it has to have to do decently is wat makes it a bad fit. had they added Autocannons that did more damage per shot, had a bit more pen, lower ammo count (duh) and worked more like IFV's in a sense, like a BMP 2 or PUMA, it could be more interesting. lets say it had a 10-shot magazine that could do up to 1600 damage if all shots landed and average rolled, but the RoF was MUCH higher per-shot then any other vehicle, but accuracy quickly fell off per shot, it would be more in line with what could fit into world of tanks. for example, if they had turrets with no crew in them, they could be VERY effective HullDown Support Tanks that take 50% less damage to the turret due to the lack of crew in it, it would allow it to be much more of a support role centered line of tanks that excell in covering allies by being able to do more effective External Module Damage like to tracks and such, which ould allow it to work VERY well as a Teamwork Specific Vehicle. give it Decent Gun Depression on top of that and it could do well in places where a High Ground support situation could lead to a victory. ballancing would of course be centered on the Armor and reload, forcing it to have a somewhat long reload of maybe 15-20 seconds with a standard crew. accuracy as well would be BAD at long ranges, forcing it to support the likes of heavies and TD's by detracking and otherwise being a problematic nuisance to the enemy team, allowing the tanks it is supporting to more effectively do what they do best!
All the recent tech tree tanks have been disasters. The type 71, concept 5, tesak are all abysmal. Polish TDs are hard to play as well: highest shell velocity coupled with highest dpm at 50meters what the eff?
My problem with this tank is that outside of he clipping trashbarns it seems shitter than borat. It even has similar camo values depending on field mods maybe even worse. Even the penetration values are similar. How ever with gold borat has even more clip potential and it only takes 2 seconds to unload. Im not sure if its fair to compare a tier 8 medium to tier 10 light but i do hold borat as the best light tank in the game.

Just a meme tank for the moment. My best game was 2600 damage. Best spotting game has been 3200. Two stars for sure!

Honestly they could make this tank into an overheat mechanic: make it have infinite clip but your gun overheats if you shoot too much and needs to cool down

The Tank Coach showed something like this in one of their videos and I was hoping it was like this but instead it was a panzer I c on tier 10
They shouldve just given the guns realistic firerates and balanced it around that
buffs the tank could use:
better camo
better pen on all ammo
a bit less bloom when hodl trigger down
have you tried tapping it instead of just holding it down at longer range
Autocannons are for soft targets such as infantry, cars, planes. It took 2 bradleys to knock out a t70 by damaging its optics. It didnt destroy it just knocked it out. Auto cannons have always struggled with armor.
they need to buff the dispersion values of all the auto cannons not buy much like 5 to 10 %

WG probably didn’t want to do a repeat of Armored Warfare (and to some extent War Thunder) where IFVs were effectively the best tank destroyers because of their sheer firepower output

I have this tank. It is difficult to do well with it. I play it for the giggles.
Being experienced with actual GOOD Auto-Cannons in Armored Warfare back when that game had some promise, I would say what's "flawed" with WOT's Auto-Cannons is I think it needs to be MUCH FASTER on the "Low-End" that is in "Power & Acceleration" and it needs to take much LESS Damage when "bumping" into tanks.
So, this type of tank it needs to be able to be an expert at "Circle Booming".... So, it needs to be able to get into the back/sides of tanks well in order to do its proper allotment of damage, and when doing that, it's going to bump tanks, so it needs to NOT take as much damage when doing so. These I think are the areas they are "flawed" in.
Yeah, that's pretty bad considering I can pick up 3-4k (not including spotting) on kpz/concept easily.
i hope the vehicle sucks enough that no one is playing it and u rarely have the guy that goes full yolo and wastes his entire tank for whole clip. The most annoying part with this tank like with borat or elc even 90 is not that it can do crazy things by itself, its just preventing u from doing things since u dont wanna drive into an early agressive position and be -900 at the start of the battle.
Long story short a tank that is not op but can ruin your game !
keep hearing this but also people complaining it will make games faster and that they dont like faster games. So maybe slow down. make the game last longer and out spot the tank. cant be super aggro and end the game quick then complain about 5 minute games.

I play a hvy. They drive up fast, unload on you and do 25pts of damage.
It is the 10th nerf of Grille branch. Vehicles that are not performing and are strongly power creeped have being nerfed indirectly patch after patch.
Originally I was under the impression that the clip would regenerate after some down time , when I saw the common test my thought was it was just a normal autoloader with brrrr which is fun for a little but I can’t imagine the novelty lasting long ?

Skill i really dont want to be that guy with 51% WR to backseat game you, but maybe the key is to use less autoaim, second game you notice how many HE u bounced on the selma, aswell as the 212 Arta when u started aiming for the lower plate. ofc you do you and you still would kick my ass in the game 50 games out of 50, but i think that trying to aim manually and hold the aim would be a key to improve the damage per clip significantly in thos situations
I think that those ratatatata vehicles have only purpose of clearing bushes quite effectively via blind fires, for example when playing in a platoon or even in some lower ranked CWs... On maps like Prokhorovka where you need the vision but you can't get that vision, and your teammates are getting outspotted you just spam bursts in typical bushes see if enemy team has LTs there (not for high level of gaming in clan activities because a great player can get use of any other LT same as this one but much better). That's pretty much it IMHO...
Because of these machine gun tanks I saw 5 tanks (4 on the enemy side and 1 on our side) earn the same Special Achievement. I can't remember if it was the Master Gunner (5 pen hits in a row) or Sharpshooter (10 hits in a row), but it was great example of WG ridiculous reaching for more and more gimmicks, instead of producing a better balanced battle experience.
At least it still penetrates armor up to 90% angle, they didn't fix it, so it's a feature 😄
4:36 I was in my Vz on saturday, and it was me (vz 55), is-3-II, E100 hugging that inside hill from north spawn on this map fighting south... sometime in the beginning on the game one of these things, lpt 67, comes flying over the hill behind us, NONE OF US ARE PAYING ATTENTION, and he just lets us all have a clip. All of us hit him and he was dead just like that LuL This tank line is gonna have its Meme's and moments but If you have this tank line on your side, dont depend on it. Its a 1 trick pony.

Vz.71 has a bug in it, as long as you're in place and not moving, you won't lose concealment if you fire

I see this as an opportunist's tank: something that doesn't guarantee a victory, but when you figure out where and how to run it, it can do work!
Edit: An idea for a challenge with this tank: cause a critical hit to every single module to an enemy vehicle in the course of a battle.

I wonder if you spray a bush is it easyer to figure out hidden tanks as you throw so much ammo in to the bush or is it just harder to see when the shels are disapearing
This tank is overhaul not op at all but if your a lightly armored tank it's just really not fun to play agains't it, when playing light and see a tesak on enemy team i outright turn away now if it get spotted near anywhere i want to go because the number of time it 1 clipped me is ridiculous

There really isn't any good way to balance these in WoT. They dont do well against tanks. Add infantry, cars and airplanes for them to shoot at. Its what they where designed for. Not fighting other tanks.
We need more skill reacting to skill videos.
Guns like this do not work when you have to keep falling back in increments to use view range and camo to punish mediums and heavies pushing in to you.. this is a tank that only operates well when flanking an unsuspecting enemy...

I wanna play them all so I'm on Šelma right now, did 5100dmg in best game and oh boi, that was the most exhausting 5k I have ever done.
The number of Cool-Headed medals i got recently is insane.
remove the he round, buff the pen by like 15% + - 5% on both remaining ammo types, buff camo a little. there is zero reason for the tank to only be good against tanks with light armor. which is mostly the lower tier tanks in a match.
the RoF as well as low damage and insane "only if" situations it has to have to do decently is wat makes it a bad fit.
had they added Autocannons that did more damage per shot, had a bit more pen, lower ammo count (duh) and worked more like IFV's in a sense, like a BMP 2 or PUMA, it could be more interesting.
lets say it had a 10-shot magazine that could do up to 1600 damage if all shots landed and average rolled, but the RoF was MUCH higher per-shot then any other vehicle, but accuracy quickly fell off per shot, it would be more in line with what could fit into world of tanks. for example, if they had turrets with no crew in them, they could be VERY effective HullDown Support Tanks that take 50% less damage to the turret due to the lack of crew in it, it would allow it to be much more of a support role centered line of tanks that excell in covering allies by being able to do more effective External Module Damage like to tracks and such, which ould allow it to work VERY well as a Teamwork Specific Vehicle. give it Decent Gun Depression on top of that and it could do well in places where a High Ground support situation could lead to a victory.
ballancing would of course be centered on the Armor and reload, forcing it to have a somewhat long reload of maybe 15-20 seconds with a standard crew. accuracy as well would be BAD at long ranges, forcing it to support the likes of heavies and TD's by detracking and otherwise being a problematic nuisance to the enemy team, allowing the tanks it is supporting to more effectively do what they do best!
Skill : One minute is not so bad.

All the recent tech tree tanks have been disasters. The type 71, concept 5, tesak are all abysmal. Polish TDs are hard to play as well: highest shell velocity coupled with highest dpm at 50meters what the eff?

My problem with this tank is that outside of he clipping trashbarns it seems shitter than borat. It even has similar camo values depending on field mods maybe even worse. Even the penetration values are similar. How ever with gold borat has even more clip potential and it only takes 2 seconds to unload. Im not sure if its fair to compare a tier 8 medium to tier 10 light but i do hold borat as the best light tank in the game.
