I have an old Hubba tent that became sticky. I threw the stuff bag and pole bag in the washer with detergent and that didn’t work. Then I soaked it in a bucket of water with a generous amount of baking soda for a day, rinsed then hung to dry. That got rid of the sticky. Next, I will try the fly.

My Coleman Koubek Valley 4 is not only sticky, but leaving black smudges everywhere. I have a feeling it’s the fire retardant they treated it with.
