I think the biggest influences for me would have to be the two desert levels in Sonic Heroes (Rail Canyon and Bullet Station), the desert area of Las Venturas from GTA San Andreas, and also the video for that song 'I Wanna Feel' by Secondcity. I can't say I'm surprized that it's unedited, even though it looks a bit cartoonish. I wanna give that place a visit one day. I don't live in America. But I'll keep that place in mind - The View, Monument Valley, Arizona.

It’s like one of my dream, I went to a hill like place with many old houses in New Zealand and I just kept walking with my flashlight on then I found a playground, structure built really high and some big wooden cartoon animal statues, I don’t remember it but after everytime I remembered about the playground it sent a creep down my spine, night, old houses, no one in sight, wooden structures and wooden cartoon character statues, perfect liminal space
