I think the biggest influences for me would have to be the two desert levels in Sonic Heroes (Rail Canyon and Bullet Station), the desert area of Las Venturas from GTA San Andreas, and also the video for that song 'I Wanna Feel' by Secondcity. I can't say I'm surprized that it's unedited, even though it looks a bit cartoonish. I wanna give that place a visit one day. I don't live in America. But I'll keep that place in mind - The View, Monument Valley, Arizona.

I had one where it was a snowy plain and it was pitch black dark and the entire way was just a frozen lake with snow over it and then it began to crack and I just woke up.
