That's something i was wondering... The beach club is open on Sundays for cruise travelers to use the day pass? I was concerned because i heard that alot of things are closed on Sunday in Nassau. That's why I'm asking. Have a good day
Hey Dee and Jay, I will be on the Carnival Celebration in November and stopping in Nassau, Bahamas. Have been researching the Margaritaville Resort for a "Day Pass." QUESTION¹: Where did you purchase your Day Pass? QUESTION²: Did you do the 15 minute walk to and from the Resort or taxi cab? Keep up the great work .... Thanks in advance. 😎⛹️♀️🚴♂️🤸♂️
Awesome! The taxi vs. walk we showed in this vlog, so I guess that’s already answered, ha ha. For the passes themselves, I believe they’re on the Resort For A Day website now. www.resortforaday.com/Margaritaville-Beach-Resort-Nassau/
Loved this! Thanks for taking us along. We'd certainly do this when in Nassau the next time. Looking forward to seeing y'all and Emma on Friday. Can't wait to see your further adventures on the Allure.
Direct through the resort, but they've changed the program a bit since we went. The best recent deal seems to be on a website called ResortPass and though it doesn't include the food & beverage credit, the math tends to work out better in the end!! :D
Hey Guys GREAT VIDEO Thank you !!! Heading to Nassau with RC in June and definitely going to Margaritaville now... where did you get your day pass with the $25 food credit? Thank you again !!
We haven't done the Atlantis waterpark yet, but it has a LOT going on, so that's cool if your focus is a big waterpark. We just wanted a chill lazy river day, and apparently you can find the day passes without the food credit for $59/pp on the Resort Pass website, so not bad!! :P
Did you guy check out the beach? We stopped going to Nassau, tired of the antics from vendors, etc. I've a few stories that I won't post here. Curious as to how it was leaving the Custom House, were you constantly approached like years past?
Hi. What was the beach view like ? I'm trying to plan a Bahamas vacation for winter 2022. Margaritaville is on my list of options but from footage ive seen it doesn't look like a great view of the ocean or am I mistaken?
I noticed in an older video of Nassau you had mentioned using the pools at Margaritaville was free, is that no longer the case or is this a different location?
The pool at Margaritaville in Grand Turk is free to use, but the Margaritaville Resort in Nassau is a brand new location, yes. They've got more going on than the standard restaurant and pool, with the waterpark and whatnot!! :D
Dee I love your bathing suit! I usually stay on the ship for Nassau but might consider this day pass next time we go there. What’s the cost for the day pass?
It's $115 per person which includes a $25 food & beverage credit, so it's pretty on par with many other Nassau day pass rates that we've seen, and we couldn't resist an adventurous lazy river!! :P
This looks like so much fun. My sister & I are taking a cruise to Nassau in September. QUESTION: How did you guys get the food option? Does this come with the day pass purchase or something separate? Thanks!
We got it straight through the resort, but it looks like the best deal right now is the ResortPass website deal that doesn’t include the food credit. Hmm.
They just opened in November or December and are still trying to get the word out that they're open an ready for folks, I believe. I'm thinking as cruising picks back up, they'll start to see more folks come through!! :D
Many thanks for pointing out Margaritaville in Nassau! Hadn't gotten off the ship the last couple times there, now will HAVE to check this out in Feb!! Did you get day pass from cruise line or Margaritaville direct?
It's not offered through the ship. You just snag passes on arrival, or by phone or email ahead of time. It's $115 per person which includes a $25 food & beverage credit, so it's pretty on par with many other Nassau day pass rates that we've seen, and we couldn't resist an adventurous lazy river!! :P
Did you have any issues walking up and getting passes? I am tempted to buy them in advance for Margaritaville... but I have heard they may be cheaper the day of. Thanks!
Ah, true! We reserved our spots in advance. I know you can get them from Resort Pass for $59/pp which doesn't include the food & beverage credit, which seems to be the best overall deal online.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this video. Older couple on Oasis May 1 and looking for something in Nassau. This will be just what we can do and will We enjoy your videos that show something and are not just a news video.
Going to Nassau in May. They were still building the Margarrittaville last time we were there. Where did you purchase the day pass? Thanks for sharing!

They had recently opened and were still trying to get the word out about their day passes... we stayed probably 4-5 hours puttering around in the lazy river and pools. It made for a fun day!! :D
Nice new and old (you) combination! LOL That place is beautiful for a more active day; I still prefer the calmness of the Hilton (day pass). I'm older than you!
It's $115 per person which includes a $25 food & beverage credit, so it's pretty on par with many other Nassau day pass rates that we've seen, and we couldn't resist an adventurous lazy river!! :P

What a great option for Nassau, we are booked on the disney wish in October, Nassau is one of our stops we are planning on doing aquaventure water park over at atlantis however, we will keep this for next year when we go to Nassau. Thanks guys. Can't wait to see the rest of the series.
Looks like a nice spot to go, also want to hit up the golf course on the northwest part of the island next time too…good combo for RC, Perfect Day and Margaritaville!

Love the video. Looks like they went up on their prices and no longer include the food credit. :-( But good info none the less. I think we will try it out.
I'm constantly in "catch up" mode! Margaritaville looks like a LOAD of fun but quite loud with the music, for sure. Oh man, the "Swift Betrayal" Title just cracked me up! Was that hot tub actually hot after all?
Beach access is included but we didn’t wander out there that day. It’s on the end of Junkanoo Beach but a little more private feeling. It looked awesome!! :D
Love watching you two! Hopefully our cruise will be coming soon! Dee, I would love to know how you pack so many clothes in your suitcase. Care to share your secrets? I always take so many clothes! I'd love to get one of the new spinner suitcase, but afraid I won't get all my clothes in it.
The main secret is trying not to over-pack, which can be difficult, ha ha... and she's fond of packing cubes. Me, not so much. I feel like I can pack just as much without cubes, ha ha... :P ~Jay
We are so excited to be doing this when we go to Nassau in March! Do you have any info on the Covid testing requirements to visit Margaritaville? I love your cruise videos, keep them coming!
The original cost was about $110 per person, but you can find it on sale for $59 per person on a site called Resort Pass though it doesn’t include the food credit. Still a better deal though!! :D
Dee definitely made a friend! He decided to stop after we crossed the street by that water feature where we last showed him, and went back toward the resort, hah... :P
Thank you for the details about Margaritaville. I was a little nervous that it was built on top of Junkanoo beach. I appreciated the footage of you showing the beach at Margaritaville and the proximity to Junkanoo beach. I am not sure which beach I will visit next time…
Eh, I had my doubts about that edit, hah… but since the lazy river was our main draw to the resort and where we spent the largest chunk of time, we figured our misadventures were fun enough! I guess it could have just been a shorter vlog though 20 minutes already felt short enough, hah. Thanks for the input!! :P ~Jay
You two have become my favorite cruise content creators. I so look forward to your daily cruise vlog content.
Loved the Margaritaville, especially since it is walking distance from the port. Thanks for sharing.😎
This video is super helpful. Thank you for sharing
We were wondering what to do in Nassau, I think you helped us decide.
This looks like fun
I showed this to Evan and he wants to do this when we go to Nassau in March.

That’s about right. It’s about 3/4 mile over there.
Totally biring with an EMPTY park!!

How would you rank Margaritaville vs Atlantis?

Either way works. The ResortPass website had them on sale for $59 without the food credit, I believe, which worked out to a better deal overall!! :D
Looking forward to seeing you two with Emma this Friday, should be a lot of fun.
So nice to see Nassau is improving our experience there.
That resort looks awesome 👌
I like that place you guys are by yourself

Good morning! Florida is nice and cool, so we slept a little later!
The view from the adult pool area alone is worth the $
Loved today's video. We will definitely have to go to the Margaritaville Hotel next time we are in Nassau. Thank you so much.❤
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Always wanted a good review of a walkable option in Nassau
Haven't gotten off in Nassua in ages, you just changed my mind for next time! Love the lazy rivers.... Great vlog!
How long did it take you to walk? Did you feel safe?
OH My next adventure at Nassau got to be Margaritaville for sure.
Great video! I started laughing out loud during the lazy river, I almost woke up the family.

Do they have lockers? Or…was there somewhere you guys stored your backpack? Also, do you usually pay with cash or card for these kinds of things?
I was wondering the same thing. Lockers didn’t look that big. What did you do with your backpacks?
Was the water cold? I’m going February 14th and can’t decide on what to do.
It was chilly, yes! Most anything in the Bahamas in January/February will be quite “refreshing”!! :P
