    Trail and Brady great gear review on Sitka pants. I don't own any Sitka gear so I don't have any knowledge or hands on use with it. I don't like to point out negative in anything. But your always going to have two sides of it. Well I can't justify the price or Made in China But that's progress.
    God's Blessings to you all

    Thanks as always Trail and Brady for the breakdown on the Sitka pant lineup. I do quite a bit of ground hunting for whitetail deer 🦌 in West Virginia. This could include sitting on my knees behind a bush or tree 🌳 any terrain feature as well as crawling closer to the animal. So knee pads would definitely come in handy on hunts from Oct 1st through the 20th of November. 🏹🦌

      Thanks for watching. Knee pads are a must on some hunts and sure do come in handy when on a stalk! Best of luck this season!!

      @@GOHUNT you are welcome 🙏🏻 and they would help tremendously my knees hurt so bad last year and I wasn’t comfortable. I will have to change that this year. Thank you and good luck 🍀 to you all as well. I look forward to seeing the hunt films 🎥

    Love my Traverse pants. Have the Traverse, Apex and Timberline and I tend to go towards them over the other two. Really like the more roomy fit all the way thru and can wear them in any weather, layer depending. Great video, guys!

    High end hunting gear is such a black hole. You dip your toes in the water with Sitka and a few years later you're thousands deep with the whole lineup lol. I'm not complaining I love my Sitka.

    Good day.
    I have an equinox and traverse both in 40 R, they fit well with a bit of extra room.
    Would the timberline fit be true to those sizes?
    Thanks.

      How do they hold up in light rain? Not looking for a full on gore Tex rain pant just something that will keep the water off during light rain

    • @richardkramer1094
      @richardkramer1094 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shaunlehman9158 the Mountain Pant and Jacket are good in light rain, however, the Apex pant and hoody aren’t so good. I always carry the Stormfront jacket and pant in my pack anyway.

      @@richardkramer1094 for sure! I have the cloudburst coat and pants I wear when I need rain gear just looking for a good pant that won’t soak up the water in a light rain!

      How tough are they? it’s useless to spend that much money on pants that tear on the first use. I don’t sit, I walk and stalk so I need something that’s made for HUNTING

    How would you compare the Sitka Apex pant to the Sitka Stratus pant? I’m looking for the most quiet exterior material and an athletic fit. I’m elk and whitetail hunting in southwest Montana btw. I still want some wind stopping and water resistance in my pant though, so if either one I mentioned above doesn’t do that, it’s already ruled out.

    I like the traverse pant except for the fact that my feet catch the inside material every time I put them on I actually have pulled threads from it, yes my feet are rough but they don’t snag any other pants I wear

    • @DB.KOOPER

      "pant" is what a dog does, PANTS are the things you wear...

    • @thanielsommers4500
      @thanielsommers4500 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The dictionary defines a“Pant” of or relating to pants “Pant” is also an outer garment extending from the waist to the ankle and covering each leg separately. “Pants” is the plural version since most ‘however not all ‘require “pants” to cover the typical number of legs on an average human however some individuals have only 1 leg therefore making a “pant” sufficient coverage

    Where would the new Incerpt pant fit in?

  • @shelbystory410
    @shelbystory410 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could yall possibly give some input about the fit between the Apex and the Ascent pant as far as the waist/Inseam goes? I’ve heard they are different slightly. No where I have been carries the Apex pant so I’m afraid I can’t try them on to see, however I have tried on the Ascent pant before and I’m between 2 sizes when it comes to the waist measurement. Would yall suggest going up or down for the Apex pant?
    Thanks so much!

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Shelby! The Apex pants are true to size, the Apex is a little more of a tapered straight-leg fit but the waist is true to size. For example, Trail wears a 33 in Levi's and a 33 in the Apex.

    • @rolandatc9197
      @rolandatc9197 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great video guys! Appreciate the description of each. Similar question to Shelby… what is the fit on the Mountain Pant and Timberline. I usually wear a 33 (or maybe 34) depending the fit of pants. I got a big “backside” (as mentioned in the video😉) and have trouble with pants too tight in the hips and thighs but still fit the waist. Should I go up a size? Order a 34???

    What pants would you recommend for august caribou hunt in the interior?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi DJ. Trail here: Everyone is a little different, but Sikta Mountain Pant, Sitka Apex Pant, Fjallraven Keb Agile or the PrAna stretch zion would all be good options. The Mountain Pant is the heaviest of those. The others are all lighter options, the Apex is the quietest. The Mountain Pant is probably the most versatile, you can get away with using them early if it's not too hot and they make great mid-season pants.
