What a performance. I've just finished reading his autobiography "The Lives Of Brian" what a great read. Laughed so much. A lovely guy and great singer
Absolutely brilliant. If you close your eyes and listen it almost sounds like Jimmy Barnes. Can't wait to see acca dacca tour Australia again. Would love to hear songs from Power Up live.
No wonder he nailed his audition with AC/DC. I wonder if he’s actually met Tina Turner? I think it would be cool if Brian and Tina did a album together just once since they are both iconic rock singers. Rock in Peace Tina!
con esta canción se estreno Brian para saber si tenía talento para AC/DC despues de que le llamasen por telefono... y tanto que lo tiene. LARGA VIDA BRIAN JOHNSON!!! We salute you!!
Toda la onda el viejito!!!!! Este es uno de los mejores videos que vi de Johnson y de los mejores que vi en TH-cam. Cuando sea un jubilado quiero tener la onda que tiene el maestro este, ídolo!!!!!!!!
Definitely a joy to watch. I also highly praise his vocals on Gone Shootin. I know it's an AC/DC song but it's a Bon Scott era track and Brian did fantastic singing it. A cover I also recommend is Cheap Trick doing Highway to Hell. Listen to the one from the 1980s. Robin Zander needs no introduction as a vocalist but he especially killed it on that one.

Funny...first time I heard this song was while working in a factory...loud shop floor, the radio was on, but the noise and the head set made it hard to tell who that was...I thought, that sounds like Bon Scott...and I looked for it hard, so suprised to find out that it was Tina singing...and still it would be great to hear Bon sing that...
He sang this at his AC/DC audition. No wonder he got the gig. This is great.
So they essentially hired Tina Turner as their lead singer. And history was made.
lovehunter I’m sure he sang it a lot better then than now cuz this is only a fraction of what his voice use to be
He sang this plus a few other songs including whole lotta Rosie which he used to sing with Geordie.
Genius of him to go off script and do this instead of a typical ac/dc piece.
Tina Turner wrote this song!
Fantastic ,always have loved Brians voice . Still got it at 75 yrs old.
You don't look 75!
@@jrussell5243 excuse me . I'm talking about Brian Johnson not me.

Brian Johnson is a god dam rocking machine period.

Brian! The best singer in the latest 30 years. my favourite!:)
Brian is Dynamite👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽When he starts singin he is there,1000% Power🎙🔥👌
He said when he first himself played back when Back in Black was recorded he thought "Christ, there's someone dying in there! And it was me! Yeah!"
This sounds incredible! Brian’s voice is and has always been unparalleled!!
I had never seen him sing outside of AC/DC. This was great!
Really? Look it up he was super active when he was younger and bitched about acdc being so slow to record..he's sang with alot of groups like jackal
@@ajhensley8025 Jackyl?!
@@imasonofadeadbeat2928 In 1997 I think

Brian is just a badass
Brian Johnson’s so awesome. And I remember seeing him sing this on another video. And I heard he sang this on his audition with AC/DC.
Brian Johnson singing a Tina Turner song. Thats a huge big massive yes from me. Only thing better would be Brian and Tina singing it together.
With that what I’ve read about her, she’d demand he sing in a different room with a different band or something. She’s mental
Yes, the world missed out on that. But I think the stage would've caught fire.
I meet him in 1997 at Moroso Racetrack, we both race in Formula Dodge!! Very kind and nice person !!!! Brian ROCKS!!!!
Fantastic! Brian is a front man extrodinaire and really good singer
Great tribute to Tina Turner, who died this year on Wednesday 24th of May. Age 83
GOD his voice is powerful, here. I am so proud to call this man one of my heroes.
What a legend! What a song! What a performance ⚡️
Brian sang 2 songs at his AC/DC audition. This one, and Whole Lotta Rosie.

No wonder he nailed his audition with AC/DC. I wonder if he’s actually met Tina Turner? I think it would be cool if Brian and Tina did a album together just once since they are both iconic rock singers. Rock in Peace Tina!
No wonder AC/DC hired him after singing this!!! He’s awesome!!!! 😜🤘
I could actually visualize Tina and Brian singing this together.
When Brian auditioned with ACDC ,it was the first time since Bon’s passing that Angus actually got up and started doing his routine.
It’s like he gave new life into the band while keeping Bon’s spirit alive
Brian got the gig 'cause no one else possibly could. He's been the voice of AC/DC since 1980!
Furst time, I've heard this.
Brian doesnt sing Its a long way to the top.. cuz he says Bonn did it so perfectly he couldnt do it justice... thats respect
just at the time he enters the stage it beginns to ROCK...!!!
Amazing vocalist!
Brain is the best !!! Love him !!!
He kills it (in the good way). Great to see his voice really get up there.
Jesus! Brian is awesome!
When Brian auditioned for AC/DC this is what he sang. (Mick Wall, Hell ain't a bad place to be.)
Brilliant stuff Brian. You just get better and better. Love you loads Angus. 🌹🎸👍👏💓♥️
Just went looking for nut Bush City limits bass cover and discovered this. Brian sir you are a legend, hats off.
Brian the legend!
best song + best band = this
con esta canción se estreno Brian para saber si tenía talento para AC/DC despues de que le llamasen por telefono... y tanto que lo tiene.
LARGA VIDA BRIAN JOHNSON!!!
We salute you!!
Brian at his best: between Siff Upper Lip and Black Ice.. Great range and sound, what a voice :)
+Ronald I know! I wish they had an album and tour in 2004-2006 or something
+Matt Brabham that wouldve been great.
Yeah it would
Ronald Brian is very underrated because of people's hang ups that he became the the new singer after Bon
Holy shit Brian sound fucking great
Toda la onda el viejito!!!!! Este es uno de los mejores videos que vi de Johnson y de los mejores que vi en TH-cam. Cuando sea un jubilado quiero tener la onda que tiene el maestro este, ídolo!!!!!!!!
Fun fact: This is what he sang when he auditioned for AC/DC.
best bit of singing i heard him do since back in black in my view...:-)
Brian Johnson and the best ^^
love the horn section,
What a legend...
Much respect for Brians ability to perform a Tina Turner song so incredibly.
Come on, lets make some noise. I love it.
Rest in peace... Thank you Tina Turner
Funny thing is was when I was a little kid I thought this was a acdc song I must of been def as a kid
He's having so much fun
Brian Johnson and Paul Stanley are surprisingly soulfull

His book is 8 stops away coming from Amazon can’t fooking wait to get it read
That has to be Newcastle City Hall, eh? Best vibe in the world! Just ask Brian!
Fabulous! Magic in his throat.
Amazing Brian!
Brian smashes it - band murders it. ☠️
An absolute banger 👊
Great voice! Love the jordie accent too.....wasnt that dude with the tamborine out of Benidorm?? and corrie?lol wish I was there!..
PURE POWER

Legend and top bloke
IKE AND TINA TURNER"s classic!
Just superb! Fookin legend.
Brian Johnson chose a TINA Turner/Bob Seger song as an audition...I love it
naturally is a Tina song but clearly these guys are playing the seger version
seriously,Bob still blows them away
this explains why some wanted Bob Seger to replace Brian Johnson
very good brian (y)
Rock on! SALUTE you!
Brian is the best rock 'n' roll singer of all time. And that's quite a thing.
diese stimme diese leidenschaft einfach nur genial
geb ich dir recht ......
Also a great race car driver!
This song was one of the songs he sang when auditioning for AC/DC. Maybe some people don't know that?
Yes you`re right. It was the first song he sang in the audition. He then sang Whole Lotta Rosie.
Grant Melville
Awesome to know this! Cheers ☘🍺☘🤘
Probably makes it his favourite song, then.
I didn't know that til now and I'm a big AC/DC fan!
*BRIAN JOHNSON FOREVER*
Fook axl blows, Brian is tha man!
Axl doesn’t blow but yeah he doesn’t belong in AC/DC
He needs to do a duet with Tina!
Loooooooove this!!!!!

Wow I know he'd kill it !!!
holy shit! that's great and rocks!!!!
That's it I am going to Aussie and party with Brian.
Let's ROCK BRO! 3:-)
He has family back there and I am sure he spends more time there than Florida. But either way it will be great. :)
Great tune Brian always does a super job at it! Can't say the same about the horrid guitar tone.
I have no idea where that voice comes from, and how he keeps it.
Gan on wor Brian .

You were hearing Bob Segers', version
My Hero.
So, so, so cool, never seen him without acdc before
Haha I thought he was singing "good bush".
Seen Brian in the band Geordie and USA jarrow ex club 1970
Always figured he had some good ol' soul in em....

Badass
cara isso é uma das coisas mais legais do TH-cam fantástico
Yeaaah... go go go Brian.
Not surprisingly he fits this song
This is a kick ass song 😂
I see Tim Healy rockin' his socks off....must have been filmed somewhere close to the Oz and the lads from Auf Wiedersein!
el auténtico cantante de ac/dc
YOU CANT NOT LOVE THIS!!
(It's impossible!)
Yes indeed. Thanks
I’m sure Tina would have loved this version. May she RIP! ❤
Rock n Roll is in his blood.
Now that is a Front Man
