I was getting 'payment status not available for three days I woke up this morning we're at the Google News the IRS admitted to its era they completely fixed it I got off the phone went and checked my bank account and it was in there the IRS says everyone who was getting that message payment status not available will be getting their money keep checking your bank accounts people and keep going on the get my payment tool this is not a joke I just got my money today
Yes, money will still be coming until Jan 15th. That's the cutoff by law and after that you must file a tax return to get the stimulus or correct anything. See my other video on this! th-cam.com/video/f1iSO07XiRs/w-d-xo.html
@@MillennialFinance101 anyway they said that they fix the error it's all fixed but I guess they don't have time to fix the tool on there the get my payment tool because mine keeps saying status not available and I got my money so that tool thing is all messed up plus they don't have time to fix it so they just send them
Yeah it’s best to wait until Jan 15 to see if anything has arrived. My mother in law has not received hers yet but she didn’t work or file a 2019 return so I don’t expect it to arrive. We will see. Worst case, I’m filing a return for her to get her $600.

I believe you will have to use old mail returns. You can enter everything online and it will provide you the 1040 you can use to mail in to claim the stimulus.

I'm at a income tax office the agent call the IRS he just told me they didn't have my information how can they not have my information when they send me the first check on may the 1# of last year

So i have turbo tax. Said it was deposited on the 4. Now it says unavailable. Does that mean i have to file taxes now? I got my last money on the same card. Im so confused!!
Yes irs+turbo tax really messed up. Irs sent the funds to TurboTax and turbo tax said nope, can’t do nothing with this and ended up sending the money back to irs

Hello Its the irs I did receive an email from turbo tax stating that they have already contacted the IRS letting them know that all of the accounts are correct and they are working on fixing the problem and sending direct payments within a few days. everything should be fine. I'm not sure about HR block. But hope this helps

I stated they are a holding account so hR block is further processing these to their customers. Turbo tax is new and those are being sent back to the irs (they failed). You’ll have to claim your credit on 2020 tax return.

It always tells me my information doesn't match what they have, I got the first check, I'm a non filer and not a dependent on anyone's taxes I am SSDI.
if you didn't do non-filer with the IRS, you'll have to claim these credits on your tax return now. I know you don't normally file but you must file to get it. I explain it in this video: th-cam.com/video/f1iSO07XiRs/w-d-xo.html

You left out the part that on the irs website it says that if it says Stimulus #2 Not Available, the irs says it will not even try to mail or direct deposit and that you will have to claim it.

That's not true the IRS just admitted to it Sarah and completely fixed it I had payment status not available for 3 days then the IRS admitted to it and fixed it and my money was in my bank account today so check your account and keep checking your get my payment tool at midnight

@@MillennialFinance101 you don't have to file your taxes if you never filed it just has to go fill out the non-filers tool and he'll get it in the mail there's a lot of people don't claim their taxes for whatever reasons

I would file it anyways. The checks were held back for back pay but just play dumb. Maybe give your child some of the money if you get some yeah?

My status said unavailable since the 4th is there a chance it could be sent by direct deposit by the 15 i did file in 2018 and 19 got my first stimulus
Hmm if you filed 2019, they should have your info. Maybe wait until the 15th and decide what to do. If nothing still happens, you can choose to file a tax return

If you haven't filed for 2019-20 and you just started getting Social Security will you get a second stimulus? I have direct but on the portal it says what this video is saying. I have watched and read that I should be getting it! Please let me know an answer to this

Ok my check was sent out the 6th of January and I haven't seen it yet
mail may be delayed due to covid and less flights.
If you haven't got your stimulus money or got thet wrong amount, wait until at least January 15th because it may still be on the way according to the IRS. After that, the IRS cannot send any more payments (by law). my status said that it was gonna be mailed yesterday. but does anyone know an estimated time how long it takes to arrive to my mailbox?
I believe it's up to 14 days ,but really doesn't take that long
Think it depends where you live. Most likely those checks are coming out of DC

What about people who did not file 2019 or 2020 because of workman's compensation?

Even though you don't need to file, you can still file to get your stimulus check. Make sure you do! Doesn't matter if you make $0 for 2020, still file!!!!!!!!
I'll be making a video soon on this now that a lot of the tax software seems updated. The earliest the IRS is accepting returns is jan 16 though.

Yea IRS won’t accept returns until then and many tax softwares won’t allow filing either until that date.

Turbo tax said they had to send the funds back to the irs and that the irs should fix the issue and direct deposit it into accounts.
I did file my taxes 2019 and got my stimulus. 2020 I didn't work so I guess I'm out of luck..
If you got your stimulus already, you are good to go. If not, you can claim or correct it on a 2020 tax return (even if you did not work)

Check your bank account the IRS admitted to it and completely fixed it I had payment status not available for 3 days and then I went on Google News and they admitted to it and they fixed it and my money was in my account today so keep checking your bank deposit and keep checking get you payment tool

@@deseancurry3482 You won't have a 2020 tax return yet since it just started. You can file a 2020 tax return even with no income and even if you don't need to file.
This is the only way to receive missing stimulus money now. You can claim them on a 2020 tax return. Check out my video. It explains how you can correct/claim it.

IRS has the funds. They also have the time. With taxes there is no guarantee a person will qualify for a return. They are actually breaking the law. It said all qualified Americans will get a payment. So by adding to a return that is not promised they are violating a federal law
@@larrystrawder7825 I’m not sure since “all” didn’t include anyone making over the income limits either. But yes, making people file a return is a joke. Not only does that cost money, not everyone will know to do this!! My mother in law for example doesn’t even want to file but she qualifies for the stimulus! I have to educate her!
