    Hi I didn’t work for the year 2020 I did receive the first 2 stimulus is there a possible way to receive the 3rd?

      you should be all set for the 3rd already if you received the first 2 stimulus.

    April 15th is the deadline to file? I thought they extended it.

    Quick question. I was claimed in 2019 i was however at a different address then and was claimed as a dependent. I just filed 2020 taxes yesterday for where i'm officially at. The irs site still shows status unavailable. If my check didnt go out the first wave. Would they be able to use my 2020 taxes instead of my 2019 one if they havent processed mine yet?

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, eventually they will do a pull on that 2020 tax return data and send checks/differences based on that. I read an article mentioning this discrepancy. Hopefully that 2019 check doesn't go to the wrong person (the person that claimed you in that year). That would mean the 2020 one may not go out in that case.

    I haven't rec'd any stimulus and haven't filed my taxes yet. I heard they extended the date to claim until October of this year. Can I still file and receive all stimulus checks?

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      File it and see. I think you’re right though. I’ve seen letters from the irs saying to file to claim these

    What if I only received section 8 housing and I have two kids and I have not received no 0 no stimulus checks. Should I file and will I receive a check?

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you should to receive the first 2 stimulus checks via tax refund (see this video th-cam.com/video/f1iSO07XiRs/w-d-xo.html). You should be able to get $4000 in stimulus with 2 kids. THIS WILL ALSO SET YOU UP FOR THE 3RD STIMULUS, which is another $4200.

    Still waiting to see if they mess dependent payments up again this round. My 2020 return was approved and processed around 3-4 weeks ago. If they do mess them up, I wonder how they will correct them this time around.
    Edit: enjoyed the video and appreciate the info. The recommendation of Freetaxusa was a great one. Thanks.

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No problem! I’m sure they will try to do a 2nd or 3rd run to include 2020 data. The first run was sent very fast!!! Don’t think they used 2020 taxes at all on that one

    • @tb3621
      @tb3621 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MillennialFinance101 Update. They used the 2020 return and finally included dependent payments in my case! Very surprised as they’ve forgot the dependents the last two payments. I filed the first day it was available and the return was approved by the end of Feb, so I think that’s why it was picked up for the stimulus.

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup! I think they did use 2020 because my mother in law got hers and she has no 2019 return. You’re the first fan to confirm this for me! Glad you got it all!!!!

    So I just went to the irs Gov site. And I pulled my information it said " not elible of pay men because, it's still working on it or needs more information. I didnt do my 2019 and and 2018 taxes. I just did my 2020 taxes and followed all you're instructions to get my 1800 stimulus check. So maybe because it's still being reviewed . What should I do ??

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nothing for now.
      IRS says it will continue to send out payments and will use 2020 data at some point. The initial pull was most likely the 2019 returns and non-filer portal. We'll have to wait and see when the IRS plans to use the 2020 data and send out checks based on it. They did say they will at some point!

    Hey I did that one thing you showed last time on freetax USA for the recovery rebate credit can I file for a tax return even if I don’t require to file? That wouldn’t mess up my process? Please reply back

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can file even if you don’t need to. The thing you did last time for the recovery rebate was filing a tax return

      @WyoMoe215 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When you file your 2020 taxes, that is how you get the recovery rebate credit. I'm not sure I understand your question now.

    • @MillennialFinance101
      @MillennialFinance101  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, it is part of your tax return. I hope you didn’t have other info to enter because that would mean you have to do an amended return now to get that corrected.

    The IRS is saying they have to verify my identity before they can send me my stimulus money. I sent a copy of my 1040 and my driver's license but I forgot to include a copy of my recovery rebate worksheet. Was that supposed to be included?????
