I swear we have the prettiest hair on the planet . Every curl is defined in shape and when we brush it back into a ponytail our waves are envious. I wouldn't ask for any other hair type even though sometimes it gets annoying to maintain.

Extreme Metal Thiccums I was just about to comment I have the exact same type as her but I feel our hair type edges are incredibly fragile. If I knew I had these curls I would have never permed or put so much pressure on my edges in my youth. I could be wrong but my edges are very delicate, my hair in general. If I forget about it underneath my wig 🙄. It’s like a garden.

I freak THE F OUT when I find a hair twin or sister on TH-cam cause it’s so rare cause there is so much diversity with our hair!!! Yours gets more defined than mine but girl that shrinkage i feel you!! It is what it is and we love it. Phew I haven’t felt so enthusiastic or pumped up about my hair in A MINUTE I recently moved back home and the humidity here is constantly battling any definition I achieve so I stopped caring about my hair for a while but this has inspired me to get back into caring properly for my hair again while it’s still medium length before I big chop. ❤️
I feel you on finding a hair twin! I’ve followed some hair channels and they either have some characteristics but not most and she fits the bill with mine. I do feel like I have more density and less shine than she does, but other than that we closely match.

Just want you to know that I now embrace my shrinkage thanks to you! I hated the shrinkage in my hair but I love my 4a curls and now I love my wash and gos and my shrinkage! Thanks love! You are truly an inspiration!
I used to hate shrinkage too until I put abit of chemical I'm my hair to make it manageable lol after I washed my hair I was so sad not seeingvthe shrink not only that the texture was awful I'm not used to straight relaxed hair I was so disappointed I just wanted to cut all my hair and start over ever since seeing shrinkage makes me know my hair is healthy and where it needs to be❤
my hair curls naturally without products and i embrace the defined frizz (lol) but for my really defined/frizz free curls i use kinky curly custard. feels like baby snot (LOL) but it is boooooomb! also, for super defined hair without all the products, rhassoul or bentonite clay wash. even when you rinse it all out and have no products in your hair, your curls will POP!
You know, it took me forever to realize that I had 4a hair because all the people claiming to be 4a were really 3c. So by association, I thought my hair was 4c.

I had a bad experience with the curling gel souffle yearssss ago when I first went natural, I was probably using it wrong. You just made me want to try it again bc your curls are popping severely!

OMG finding you has to be the greatest thing thats happened to me this 2018! I finally found my hair twin! I'm definitely trying this out once the braids are out and I can play around again in my natural hair! I think I finally found out whats missing from my routine.
After reading one of your blog posts and rewatching this video, I'm so determined to try and perfect the wash & go. I've always been so afraid to do it because my curls never seem to pop like they're suppose to when you do a wash & go. But, now I'm so determined so try and perfect it until I can achieve a great wash & go routine for myself. ❤️

Hands down the best wash and go routine for type 4 a/b hair. I did EVERYTHING she did and my wash and go is cute and define for two weeks.

I have been using the Alikay Naturals products in my head for several years. I had never used the Shea Moisture line until I found your channel. I know have incorporated the Raw Sea and Cupuacu line into my regimen. I love the way it keeps my hair from getting so frizzy.

omg. this is my hair.
I cut all my perm out last year. My hair has grown and I'm learning how to embrace my 4c hair and I like it but after I try your reccomenddations I'm sure I'll love my 4c hair and wear it with confidence. everyone days It looks really good on me and fits me perfect but after wearing weaves and braids so long, it's very hard to get used to but in time I'm sure I will be ok.

I use the two Shea Moisture products and that JBCO. I haven't used that masque yet but I have it. And I'm gonna try this full routine whenever I get that leave in.

I had to follow because I rarely find videos for 4a/b hair and I watch this and was like umm she has my hair! Lol thank you for sharing I'm rejoining the natural hair care journey after months of being lazy and cutting my hair I'm actually trying to grow my hair for the next 5 yrs without cutting it!! Yes 5 I just turned 35 in April so I told myself to give my hair a chance to grow bra strap length hair.. I don't think it's going to take 5 yrs so which ever comes first. Anyway I enjoyed the video and thanks for the tips!
