I came back to say …..after listening to dozen upon dozens of other contestant’s ysayes….. his is probabaly my favorite of the entire competition… or maybe tied for my favorite with Joshua Brown. Hana’s was also good but she has a habit of barely making the notes audible during the soft sections and it feels “over-done”. Too many changing tempos and Poor bow connection gliding across the strings. Ruslan has wonderful projection and intonation. Love him and love this ysaye!!
@@moondough_ maybe recordings dont tell the whole story, but i think probably politics, he had the best 1st and final round imo, i was stunned when he didnt even place top 6
