Do we need to deep clean clippers? I had mine for a couple years and they’re still cutting like a champ. I just simply clean the blades from any hair and oil them. ...not saying a deep clean is bad. I’m sure it’s better than what I’m doing. I just never deep cleaned my cutters or ever had intentions to.

In my opinion I think it helps keep the clipper running better for longer, too much hair or debris build up inside the body will reduce airflow to the motor causing it to become hotter than if it wasn’t cleaned out. That excess heat will eventually take a toll on the performance and life span of the motor

I bought a pair of these cordless and the blade and upper body has been getting rusty. How can I restore or clean them up?

Ed Respek I’m kit sure what you mean by upper body but if the blade is rusty I would just recommend replacing it instead of trying to restore it.

I just bought my clippers 3 months ago, I only use the Andis cool spray. I ordered another blade but idk if the cold weather here in northern Japan might be the problem.
