@@renamon303not strictly true. 2 objects on the same orbit are much more of a risk because any third body even slightly working against their orbit will cause them to go off balance. One object in orbit is safest, 2 is a risk at of the 3 body problem.

I like to think of it as the dna are fighting over the control of the body. Titan was able to get metroman’s powers because the metroman dna overpowered the human dna, but megamind’s dna is more resilient as he’s also alien.

Honestly this is the perfect storyline if Megamind went darker
Realistically, Megamind isn’t going to change in a week. You can’t rid of an addiction in a snap.
Sure, but at the same time, it’s less him trying to break an addiction and more like he’s trying to essentially break systemic conditioning that he’s been through his entire life. Dude literally learned as a baby that Bad is good and good is bad. And every time he went out into modern society as he was growing up that lesson was likely reinforced by the bullying, abuse, and harassment the general public seem to be all to happy to put him through, even when he wasn’t trying to be evil
We were shown that Megamind isn’t an actual bad person, he’s just playing a role thrusted upon him by society. He felty empty when he thought Metroman died because he had no one to reaffirm his purpose. He could’ve actually done some evil or heinous stuff during what should have been a monumental event, but did the opposite.
Except, no part of this is a relapse or symptom of attempting to break the addiction.
This is full-on upsale to “I will decide who lives or dies,” when that was never a part of the equation, not the one he’s accustomed to, nor one he’d shown inclination towards.
‘Realistically,’ there’s no angle where he reaches this extreme without either being tempted to try (by sudden questions about his people or home planet, which can’t really answer) or a petty dare/being challenged to do so by someone (which, no yahoo’s challenging a big brain alien to change their own past on a lark).
What this is, is juxtaposing a Mr. Manhattan god complex onto a goofball.
And even out of that, its a valid point that we would never be as attached to the citizens that hated him for so long, especially as he seen just how quickly they can go look for another hero to replace the one they have should he be gone
Well that's the best part of fantasy. We get to idealize our greatest aspirations to set as an example to be and do better.

This is the first one of these that isn't just shock factor edgy for the sake of it.
It actually fits the characters
In the movie Megamind thought that being bad was his only option, he was at his lowest at that time and yet he didn't kill anyone other than metroman who we did found later to actually not be dead.
By the time he became a hero he wasn't evil anymore, he didn't saw the people that hated him like opportunists who only liked him because he saved them, he saw them in a good way.
The only way there is where he goes this low in life is if he isn't no longer him.
Also, why would be Roxxane worried that Megamind used metroman DNA?
She didn't knew he became more evil so there was no reason to think he would make a mistake, he had already tried copying metroman and he didn't became more evil.
And at last, why would metroman say megamind choose to be evil? In the movie he said to him that the world lead them to be hero and villain but he didn't liked that and found out that he had to choose his destiny and not be controled by others.
He knew both didn't choose their past lives.
This artist usually starts being edgy for the sake of it and goes on a sick art process to write something that holds up to the first idea

Minion is missing. We could assume he died during one of the heroic actions, Which would put off Megamind.
Losing his longest and only friend to something as trivial as a robber. He could react to this situation aggresively and blame the people of Metrocity for everything.
His endless bullying, His loss, even alianating the greatest superhero they knew into faking his own death.
Which could go downward spiral into saving Minion regardless of the cost. During the calculations, he could've find out that the similar principles on a larger scale could actually save his planet. Having almost nothing to lose, in a unstable state, He could choose this.
As for the Roxanne being concerned about DNA part, there are three possibilities on that.
First is Roxanne's relation with that power. Tighten went straight evil thanks to the near unlimited power he gained overnight.
The other person with those powers abandoned the city, Broke her trust. She would react reflexively on seeing Megamind like that.
Second, it goes against Megamind as a man. He is the brains, he focuses on creating to solve problems. This is pretty much cheating for him. No need for a badass gothic themed steel ladder to change the evil lightbulb, if you can just.. fly on a whim.
Lastly, She may have actually thought the potential problem of DNA being incompatible. Maybe Megamind told her before, maybe she guessed it. Regardless, her face had more shock and worry than fear.
She was afraid *for* Megamind not *of* him.
Earth isn't really his home that's the reason why everyone was so racist to him

This is unironically some pretty good writting. The "I have lived my live as a villain because that’s the only choice I was given, now I have the choice to live with my people " bit is particularly poignant.
The former villan that relapses by being presented with a formidable chance but this time he is a real threat... wow that's a movie I would really pay for
It goes even deeper. Megamind was never a villian, all this time he just played around, only occupying the villian role in his and Metroman's game. But now he wants to make something terrible for his own gain, he wants to sacrifice billions for the cause he believes is right. This is the first time in his life when he became an actual serious villian.
How to fix the problem:
Just search for another planet instead of the earth.

I imagine this story ending where Megamind goes to his home planet and meets his parents.
Then his parents tell him that if they'd have just worked together woth Metroman's planet, they could have saved everyone, instead they were selfish and tried to save themselves (same scenario as where megamind wants to swap earth just to save his own planet)
And then he learns that if he wants to truly save his planet, he needs to work together, instead of being individualistic.
This keeps track with megamind's upbringing, because he always thought he had to do everything alone. But now he has people to help him. Good little character arc there?

I have an idea for an alternative ending: Megamind carries out the plan and saves his planet. He felt like an outcast among the people of the earth and was able to live among his own people. It turns out that the inhabitants of his planet do not accept him - on the contrary, they treat him as a murderer of a billion innocent lives. They do not accept the fact that their planet was saved at the expense of others. Megamind became the greatest villain in the eyes of his race. Out of grief, he destroys everything, including himself, with his power. However, everything turns out to be just a thought, a thought that affects him so much that he falls down and cries apologizing. Megamind abandons the plan

1:02 I just wanted to come back and point out this line. It’s a very good point and it would make sense why Megamind would feel that way. The people of Metrocity have been treating him like crap his whole life, even when he was a child who did no wrong.
You can’t just ignore all that and expect their cheers to mean so much when they were booing your from birth. It also reminds me of the Rick and Morty Quip “your boos mean nothing I’ve seen what makes you cheer.”
This tik tok story could really be a more serious and in character sequel to megamind, and it would make a lot more sense than the official peacock spinoff crap. Yeah this is too grim for megamind, but as far as motivations and consistency with the characters and story go, this is much more realistic and on brand than peacocks garbage series. I would love to see more fan creations that seek to continue the megamind story and make it feel like it’s really them.
The peacock series isn’t actually official I don’t think. Not one DreamWorks worker is actually working on it so it’s no more uncanon than this video. But with everything else, yeah that’s briman2000 for yah. He’s not only an artist but also a writer.

@Spicystachegamer basically it was after metro-man faked his death and megamind used his inhanced senses to become aware of every atom particle and sub-particle AND that metro-man was alive so naturally they fought with megamind saying sh#t "you abandoned me" until metro-man used his super speed causing everything to slow down but guess what megamind sped up to only he figured out that it wasn't super speed at all but subconsciously slowing down every atom in the universe while speeding up there own cause turns out there powers are more psychic based than physical like I mentioned before and megaminds better at it cause of his intelligence and knowledge of physics it actually good and if u want you just look for part 1 and look at the comment section you might find it
Megamind's formula doesn't actually make a person equal to Metroman. We were shown to what an extent Metroman was faster than EVERYTHING when he wanted to, possibly lightspeed, meanwhile Titan could be outpaced by regular Megamind.
If Metroman wanted to stop him, there's nothing Megamind could do.

If you thought this was good, then PLEASE watch his despicable me series!! Just search “briman2000 despicable me” on TH-cam, you won’t regret it. I’m not even exaggerating, but I think that it is genuinely by far the best video I’ve ever watched on TH-cam. This is coming from a guy who’s been on TH-cam for 9 years, no joke. It’s just so beautifully made down to that last minute detail. It is PERFECT!!! The writing, the music, the story, the action, the visuals, the emotions. I swear to god, no matter how many times I watch it, it gives me goosebumps and gets me on the edge of my seat. And it’s no surprise it’s made by @briman2000. If you liked the Megamind or Croods series by him I reuploaded, holy fucking god you are going to LOVE this! It is like 60x better than any animation he has ever made, including the aforementioned Megamind and Croods series. It starts off silly but gets very emotional and epic very soon, after the first episode.

It's interesting to think even using the serum, Megamind is only about a hundred billionth the power level of Metroman, assuming the DNA was still derived from dandruff.
My thoughts about next part would be that he came back in time but due to some malfunction or miscalculation, megamind created the same blackhole that destroyed it's planet and metroman's. This made an infinite loop where is going to happen the same thing until one of the loop versions understand that and that timeline gonna reset, making the occurred story be erased, with no megamind and metroman on earth and their planets stil exist where the two are living a normal life like nothing happened

He never bullied megamind. He just did what the city wanted him to do, put the bad boy in time out as kids and the villain in jail as an adult. The reason megamind was a villain was because of him growing up in prison and no one being there for him as a kid, which had him internalise that he's bad.

This storyline is much better than what we get from peacock's. It's pretty dark and mature but the one who is writing should know that majority of the kids that watched the movie are already adults now. Nothing wrong with changing shift towards the tone of your movie. Hey, Frozen 2 and Inside Out 2 have already done it

This is very clever and I love it because the half drawn lines of the illustrations express different emotions. Example: Roxanne's face being drawn, but not the rest of her head, showing to me that she feels hopeless, as if she's sinking in despair! Incredible art!

@@lifeiscats1337If I had to make a guess based on the panels, I would say it's probably because the planets must have similar characteristics towards each other in order for the machine to work (not just in size, but also in gravity, hanitability, vegetation, appearance, etc.).
Either that or maybe the planet has to be at a certain distance from the Sun. Like, replacing Megamind's homeplanet with Mercury or Venus would place it too close (causing deadly levels of heat) and replacing it with Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus or Neptune would place it too far (causing deadly levels of coldness).

I am impressed by the detail of the megamind's eyes, all black and with white pupils. Since megamind always had green eyes, which for me the detail makes me remember that phrase "the eyes are the mirror of your soul", for example So... inside... your soul... the real megamind is trying to stop itself.
He never wanted to kill billions of lives, nor did he even want to eradicate Metroman... HE NEVER WANTED TO BE A WORSE VERSION. But it seems that now... the other part of him does the opposite... he is suffering... too much... he wants to stop but he easily avoids it himself. Wow... it seems like his ethics have become twisted.
Better than the entirety of what ever the hell is megamind 2 😂😂😂
