It doesn’t feel like death. It just means basically you stop seeing your self as a separate being from the rest of the universe. It’s like realizing you aren’t born into the world, you’re born out of it. It’s realizing you’re one with the universe like in Buddhism and such religions. It’s usually considered a good thing.

My interpretation is that when she almost lost herself, she tried to escape the virtual world by deleting her online persona. But when she did that, she couldn't face reality as it is and find it dark, empty, terrifying, intimidating. There's no comfort of having fans that worship the ground she walks on. So in the end she came back into the online world, her safe space, just because she couldn't handle living in the reality. This video is basically a girl leading a double life. One online where she's famous and she feels important and one in real life where she feels alone in a void of sorts. Here those two lives intersect and she has to come to terms with what living really means. In the end she finds balance between her online and reality lives and she feels whole. Two become one. Allot of these messages are talking about how their lives have changed because of "KittyKat96". Some of these changes are good but allot of them are obsessive and bad. When "KittyKat96" opens her recording software to make another video, you can see that her internet persona acts differently than the way her real self acts. This is because most people on TH-cam (and other platforms) don't actually portray their real selves in their videos. This is why most of the lifestyle changes that "KittyKat96" her fans have made are bad, because they're not based on reality and on how you should act in the real world. Then "TAKE A LOOK INSIDE" appears on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona looking at the real "KittyKat96". Then "HEAD" flashes on the screen followed by "KittyKat96" sitting alone in a classroom. When "KittyKat96" fills in her name on a test paper she doesn't actually fill in her real name but instead she fills in "KittyKat96". She does this because her internet persona has taken over her real self and she now thinks like her internet persona, this is why "HEAD" flashed on screen. Later "BODY" flashes on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona exporting herself into the real world. Then "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE" flashes on screen, suggesting that "KittyKat96" her internet persona and her real self can't both exist. "KittyKat96" chooses to live like her internet persona, this is shown with "KittyKat96" her internet persona killing her real self and taking her place. "KittyKat96" now not only thinks like her internet persona, but she also portrays herself as her internet persona now, this is why "BODY" flashed on screen. Then "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?" flashes on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona looking at her real self. But her real self is gone, and you can't live your life like an internet persona, so an error appears. After the error, "UNDO" appears, suggesting that she should try another route. Now you can see real "KittyKat96" and her internet persona sitting in the same room. The real "KittyKat96" decides that it's best to delete her internet persona, so she deletes her account. Then "ARE U READY 2 LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD?" flashes on screen. After "KittyKat96" has deleted her account "THERE ARE NO PATHS" flash on screen. When "KittyKat96" wants to go outside to live in the real world she is greeted by a black void. The black void symbolizes the gap that is left when "KittyKat96" deleted her account. Now you can see "KittyKat96" her internet persona and her real self becoming one, whilst they do this, you can spot a heart. Now you can see "KittyKat96" press esc and you can see her smile at her internet persona. This is because "KittyKat96" has blend her real life enough with her internet life in order to not have her real life be dominated by her internet life but also not completely give up her hobby. i agree w your meaning completely and you worded it perfectly! not really related, but i think the reason behind becoming her internet persona/the There Are No Paths segments are because she is scared to live her life because she is scared of going outside the Ego Killed screen has thumbnails of her other videos, one which says something about being stalked and others that show she hasn't left her house or seen anyone in ages and ages, presumably out of fear of the stalker. this could be why her internet life ate her up, because nobody was around to check on her and give her an anchor and she hasn't been part of the real world in forever i might be reaching, but it'd be nice to see what you think!

relatable. I did this shit last year in college (not uni, I think high school in US) and caught up fine and got good grades, but then I did it again this year in Uni and it did *not* work out. I'm glad we get a year of free tuition so I haven't ruined my life but I feel pretty useless
My interpretation of this is that there is two versions of her, the virtual and living kittykat96. I think the animated short depicts the ideas of online persona's and real people merging together. What I mean is well people can act different online to how they do in real life. So it feels like two completely different versions of herself fighting for ownership, but in the end they become one which could mean she's in control of the way she behaves online and in real life or that she's found a healthy balance between the virtual and real life she lives.
This reminds me of Perfect Blue so much. Like how the girl's identity and online avatar start blending together, until you don't know which is which. (Btw I love that ending!!)

One's artstyle is like a representation of how they see the world, and also of themselves. You can start drawing "copying" someone else's art style, but eventually it's most likely that it'll start changing little by little, and you end up with your own, different art style. Most times at least. I guess what I mean is yes you choose your artstyle by drawing each thing how you prefer, but, most times as you learn what you prefer changes, and you might end up drawing something completely opposite to what you wanted at first. also needless to say anyone can draw. *Anyone* you might argue you won't be as good as others who have been doing so for longer, but, to be honest, that doesn't matter much. Drawing is *your* unique take on the world, and no one can say your art is better or worse than anyone else's

My interpretation is that when she almost lost herself, she tried to escape the virtual world by deleting her online persona. But when she did that, she couldn't face reality as it is and find it dark, empty, terrifying, intimidating. There's no comfort of having fans that worship the ground she walks on. So in the end she came back into the online world, her safe space, just because she couldn't handle living in the reality.
I wouldn't say she found balance in the end, I'd say that she would rather live back in a virtual world than in the real life.

This video is basically a girl leading a double life. One online where she's famous and she feels important and one in real life where she feels alone in a void of sorts. Here those two lives intersect and she has to come to terms with what living really means. In the end she finds balance between her online and reality lives and she feels whole. Two become one.

Victoria Vincent’s new animation Kittykat96 has been inspired by the world of vlogging and TH-cam stars, and follows the story of an “internet famous girl” whose online persona comes to life as a separate entity from her physical self. “Last summer I became really invested in the life of famous TH-camr Trisha Paytas, AKA blndsundoll4mi. I ended up watching nearly all ten years worth of videos,” says Victoria of her inspiration. “It was really interesting to me to watch how in some videos she would put on a character and others were more raw and emotional. OK, so I'm pretty sure that I got the meaning of this video.
At first you can see "KittyKat96" login to her profile and read her messages/comments on her profile. Allot of these messages are talking about how their lives have changed because of "KittyKat96". Some of these changes are good but allot of them are obsessive and bad. When "KittyKat96" opens her recording software to make another video, you can see that her internet persona acts differently than the way her real self acts. This is because most people on TH-cam (and other platforms) don't actually portray their real selves in their videos. This is why most of the lifestyle changes that "KittyKat96" her fans have made are bad, because they're not based on reality and on how you should act in the real world.
Then "TAKE A LOOK INSIDE" appears on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona looking at the real "KittyKat96". Then "HEAD" flashes on the screen followed by "KittyKat96" sitting alone in a classroom. When "KittyKat96" fills in her name on a test paper she doesn't actually fill in her real name but instead she fills in "KittyKat96". She does this because her internet persona has taken over her real self and she now thinks like her internet persona, this is why "HEAD" flashed on screen. Later "BODY" flashes on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona exporting herself into the real world. Then "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE" flashes on screen, suggesting that "KittyKat96" her internet persona and her real self can't both exist. "KittyKat96" chooses to live like her internet persona, this is shown with "KittyKat96" her internet persona killing her real self and taking her place. "KittyKat96" now not only thinks like her internet persona, but she also portrays herself as her internet persona now, this is why "BODY" flashed on screen. Then "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?" flashes on screen, followed by "KittyKat96" her internet persona looking at her real self. But her real self is gone, and you can't live your life like an internet persona, so an error appears.
After the error, "UNDO" appears, suggesting that she should try another route. Now you can see real "KittyKat96" and her internet persona sitting in the same room. The real "KittyKat96" decides that it's best to delete her internet persona, so she deletes her account. Then "ARE U READY 2 LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD?" flashes on screen. After "KittyKat96" has deleted her account "THERE ARE NO PATHS" flash on screen. When "KittyKat96" wants to go outside to live in the real world she is greeted by a black void. The black void symbolizes the gap that is left when "KittyKat96" deleted her account. "KittyKat96" doesn't have anything to do now and that's why "THERE ARE NO PATHS" flashed on screen.
Then, another "UNDO" flashes on screen, suggesting that she should again try another route. You can again see "KittyKat96" her internet persona and her real self sitting in the same room looking at each other. Then "TWO BECOME ONE" flashes on screen. Now you can see "KittyKat96" her internet persona and her real self becoming one, whilst they do this, you can spot a heart. Now you can see "KittyKat96" press esc and you can see her smile at her internet persona. This is because "KittyKat96" has blend her real life enough with her internet life in order to not have her real life be dominated by her internet life but also not completely give up her hobby.

the Ego Killed screen has thumbnails of her other videos, one which says something about being stalked and others that show she hasn't left her house or seen anyone in ages and ages, presumably out of fear of the stalker. this could be why her internet life ate her up, because nobody was around to check on her and give her an anchor and she hasn't been part of the real world in forever

My interpretation of this is that there is two versions of her, the virtual and living kittykat96. I think the animated short depicts the ideas of online persona's and real people merging together. What I mean is well people can act different online to how they do in real life. So it feels like two completely different versions of herself fighting for ownership, but in the end they become one which could mean she's in control of the way she behaves online and in real life or that she's found a healthy balance between the virtual and real life she lives.

One's artstyle is like a representation of how they see the world, and also of themselves. You can start drawing "copying" someone else's art style, but eventually it's most likely that it'll start changing little by little, and you end up with your own, different art style.
Most times at least. I guess what I mean is yes you choose your artstyle by drawing each thing how you prefer, but, most times as you learn what you prefer changes, and you might end up drawing something completely opposite to what you wanted at first.
