Sure, but at the same time, it’s less him trying to break an addiction and more like he’s trying to essentially break systemic conditioning that he’s been through his entire life. But now he wants to make something terrible for his own gain, he wants to sacrifice billions for the cause he believes is right. This is the first time in his life when he became an actual serious villian.
Now that I think about it a sequel where Megamind feels remorse about his old planet and suffering an existencial crisis about it sounds like a pretty good sinopsis... too bad we didn't get any of that.
I imagine this story ending where Megamind goes to his home planet and meets his parents. Then his parents tell him that if they'd have just worked together woth Metroman's planet, they could have saved everyone, instead they were selfish and tried to save themselves (same scenario as where megamind wants to swap earth just to save his own planet) And then he learns that if he wants to truly save his planet, he needs to work together, instead of being individualistic. My thoughts about next part would be that he came back in time but due to some malfunction or miscalculation, megamind created the same blackhole that destroyed it's planet and metroman's. This made an infinite loop where is going to happen the same thing until one of the loop versions understand that and that timeline gonna reset, making the occurred story be erased, with no megamind and metroman on earth and their planets stil exist where the two are living a normal life like nothing happened
I have an idea for an alternative ending: Megamind carries out the plan and saves his planet. He felt like an outcast among the people of the earth and was able to live among his own people. It turns out that the inhabitants of his planet do not accept him - on the contrary, they treat him as a murderer of a billion innocent lives. They do not accept the fact that their planet was saved at the expense of others. Megamind became the greatest villain in the eyes of his race. Out of grief, he destroys everything, including himself, with his power. However, everything turns out to be just a thought, a thought that affects him so much that he falls down and cries apologizing. Megamind abandons the plan
1:02 I just wanted to come back and point out this line. It’s a very good point and it would make sense why Megamind would feel that way. The people of Metrocity have been treating him like crap his whole life, even when he was a child who did no wrong. You can’t just ignore all that and expect their cheers to mean so much when they were booing your from birth. It also reminds me of the Rick and Morty Quip “your boos mean nothing I’ve seen what makes you cheer.” This tik tok story could really be a more serious and in character sequel to megamind, and it would make a lot more sense than the official peacock spinoff crap. Yeah this is too grim for megamind, but as far as motivations and consistency with the characters and story go, this is much more realistic and on brand than peacocks garbage series. I would love to see more fan creations that seek to continue the megamind story and make it feel like it’s really them.
The peacock series isn’t actually official I don’t think. Not one DreamWorks worker is actually working on it so it’s no more uncanon than this video. But with everything else, yeah that’s briman2000 for yah. He’s not only an artist but also a writer.

This is amazing, although it would sort of overwrite the character development of the first movie, but I do this can be like 3rd movie, where like the 2nd is Megamind trying to be a hero but failing and then brings out the urge to villainy while he did kept it in, something inside him broke down n then lead the events happening in this video
This is very clever and I love it because the half drawn lines of the illustrations express different emotions. Example: Roxanne's face being drawn, but not the rest of her head, showing to me that she feels hopeless, as if she's sinking in despair! Incredible art!
This was oddly good. I was just scrolling and stopped for a second to glance at my computer and it started playing. Nicely done. And the script is actually intriguing. Kinda wanna see what happens next.
Metroman blaming Megamind for living as a villain yet never realizing that him bullying Megamind as a child was one of the reasons why he turned to that life in the first place
He never bullied megamind. He just did what the city wanted him to do, put the bad boy in time out as kids and the villain in jail as an adult. The reason megamind was a villain was because of him growing up in prison and no one being there for him as a kid, which had him internalise that he's bad.
@@christosdoesthings that's still bullying, even if he did it voluntarily or not. He shunned Megamind, and never accepted him as a person, Megamind turned that way because he was rejected by everyone.
I think it would be way more realistic considering that megamind had time to realize how powerful that invention was. Besides he truly was ostracized for most of his life for simply existing.
Does ANYBODY read the title??? I didn’t make the video. The credit is to briman2000 who is a very talented artist. I reuploaded it because the four parts were separated across his Instagram and TH-cam pages, so I put them all together so people can understand it.
According to me: For me it is seeing an alternative reality, which I can consider a megamind with totally twisted ethics. Even if Megamind wants to travel back in time to see his parents, he will also kill BILLIONS of human lives. Megamind is right.... But it's not the right way he's doing it.
Grim as it may be this still is already a lot better than what's proposed as an official sequel. It's also a story about how while change is inevitable, there are just some cases where it doesn't happen.
Imagine being able to write a better script than a multi-billion-dollar company.

I didn’t make it
@@lifeiscats1337 Then this is my message to the artist`
That would actually be great for a movie
That was surprisingky compelling. 😭
now THIS should be a movie
Like how is this genuinely infinitely better than the canon sequel…god…good work though dude!
Love the artwork. Nice one👍
I didn’t make it
Okay thats it I’m putting it in the title that I didn’t make this. I’ve literally seen 30 comments saying I made this.
Incredible 😢❤
This was oddly good. I was just scrolling and stopped for a second to glance at my computer and it started playing. Nicely done. And the script is actually intriguing. Kinda wanna see what happens next.
I didn’t make it
@lifeiscats1337 ah, either way I still wanna see it
This is raw i wanna see this
This goes hard af I'd consider this as the real part 2 of megamind
I have to say this, this plot is waaaaay better than megamind 2
You know its cannonically accurate when you get chills
The time travel was what caused the black hole to devour their planets.
He did a silly and didn't watch back to the future.
Metroman blaming Megamind for living as a villain yet never realizing that him bullying Megamind as a child was one of the reasons why he turned to that life in the first place
Exactly!
This shouldve been the sequel bruh, i need this in my life
This is what megamind 2 should have been
I found your channel because you got angry on the monkey driving a golf cart video
Pfft I wasn’t that mad then I barely remember that. I was just saying he didn’t make the video and it was a reupload.
@@lifeiscats1337 👍
*_WE NEED THIS TO BE THE NEXT MOVIE_*
I wish the sequal was like this, megaminds mind becomes so big and complex he becomes a existential threat to reality
This is much better than megamind 2
To everyone upset with dreamworks I’m pretty sure peacock got the rights to the mega mind characters and are just doing there own thing
So this video being a movie is possible?
Yeah
It’s interesting too since it seems Megamind actually remembers his parents in the intro of the movie, even if it’s a brief moment
Wdym? He specifically said he doesn’t know them.
THIS IS MEGAMIND TWO IF IT WAS GOOD😊
bro someone needs to animate this
I think it would be way more realistic considering that megamind had time to realize how powerful that invention was. Besides he truly was ostracized for most of his life for simply existing.
Yeah humans are racist to blue people ig
That's Wild Bro But Amazing.
Yeah it is
How in the hell is this better than a million or billon dollar company? Anyway love the creative you have!
Does ANYBODY read the title??? I didn’t make the video. The credit is to briman2000 who is a very talented artist. I reuploaded it because the four parts were separated across his Instagram and TH-cam pages, so I put them all together so people can understand it.
According to me:
For me it is seeing an alternative reality, which I can consider a megamind with totally twisted ethics.
This has the same energy as the evil batman universes from the comic book series Dark Knights Metal. I love those ones and I love this too.
unironically, add the comedy flare to the script, and this plot is absolutely stellar.
This is supposed to be serious, comedy doesn’t suit it.
Better than the entirety of what ever the hell is megamind 2 😂😂😂
Ok, the biblically acurrate Megamind caught me off guard
