Good review! I'm glad you mentioned Haptics in the comment section, and grats on being the first and only review for V3 Pro's. I just got my V3 Hypersense Pro's (wireless) in today. I have the regular (wired) V3 Hypersense as well (trying them all out). I have experienced crackling/popping as reported in Amazon reviews for the V3 (wired) but I have zero issues with the V3 Pro's (wireless) so far. No static, no popping, or crackling. I can say with certainty the V3 Hypersense (wired) are getting returned.
The stronger speculation right now is that the V3 Hypersense (wired) is having these issues because of the decision to use USB as their power and audio source. I tried hours of troubleshooting, posting on reddit, enabling/disabling/uninstalling, Razer forums, and contacted support, still no fix.
Side note: Somehow I feel like these V3 Pro's sound even better. I'm not sure how they managed but I'm guessing because the power source is from the batteries directly in the headphones and not through USB, somehow they have more power to them. Bass is deeper, and the vocals are seemingly more clear - although the wired V3's were already great sounding if you ignore the popping and crackling. Cheers
*Couple things that might help with settings/audio*
    - For bass, I wouldn't turn on bass boost or any enhancements, they sound terrible personally. Instead, bump up 30hz and 60hz on the EQ a few notches to your liking. Just keep in mind this sacrifices some vocal clarity if set too high. My 30hz is set at 4, and my 60hz is set at 3 (still testing).
    - Make sure "Spatial Audio" is either OFF, or set to "Manual". In manual, set "Spatial Output" for "other/video/music Applications" to Stereo. Games can be left at Game Mode. Doing this has helped a lot of people get better quality sound for music etc., on the V3 Hypersense (wired) as well.
    - I only installed Synapse. Some of the other programs are said to cause issues with audio quality, etc. on certain headphones. This varies a lot per-person, so you don't have to take my word for it.

I will definitely try this out! Thanks for the comment I kept trying to increase boost and I'm not an expert so I don't know how to do that other than the setting for bass boost, really appreciate the time you've put into this and I can't wait to try it out!

@@jaytee1443 The crackling happened to me later on. I actually had to get Razer to replace them. They're perfect now but it's disappointing that their quality assurance seems to not exist. It's the biggest issue I'm reading in reviews with these headphones. I tried literally everything to fix them. This makes future purchases from Razer very questionable for me. Cheers

I ordered my v3 Pro on the 21st and they made it here on the 24th. Was amazed how fast they made it here, apparently coming from Hong Kong? But yea, I'm also coming from the Nari Ultimate and what I really miss is the chat mix and swivel cups. The haptics are definitely better, and the wireless connection is also better. The only issue I had was they were too quiet for my liking, so I turned everything up in the EQ settings.

In order to fix the crackling, you have to set your computer volume to 100% and your headset volume to 100% (right slider), then use the left slider to adjust volume. Had replaced the Nari Ultimate and still had the crackling, fixed the problem myself after all of it.

The problem with crackle and customer-facing is that crackle is harder to determine when it comes to manufacturing. People can hear different frequency ranges, which normally lessens with age.

This is been out for a year plus but i found it searching for battery replacement videos, one thing i can say the mics suck use the headset but use an external mic period. Youl thank me later. anyway not what i wanted to write, i bought the razer nari ultimate years ago and my biggest gripe with it was the battery, i always hated how short it would last with haptic and LED on. Turning the LEDs off gave a bit more life but still the haptic part just sucks the battery dry... Lately been having an issue with recharging, so i decided to search for a video online maybe someone attempted to change the batteries on this thing. Low and behold someone did, they went from a 1200mah to 3500mah and the battery lasts for ever. But the main guy also changed the charging to USB C and omg this is the best thing ever. So i learned how to solder just so i can do this two, now i can walk with this thing 3 floors down and still hear music its amazing. Batteries last also up to 14h+ with haptic and LED but i leave LED off anyway its not like i have a mirror where i can look at them... But yeah, i will be doing the same to the Kraken V3. I love the haptic for my cellphone on the go but honestly, i cant understand why they use cheap batteries cgange them asap if you can it a blessing.

      @ZathrosTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

So far I charged it last night and then walked out and it was unplugged on the floor cuz the cats are stupid LOL, anyways, I've had it on for the past 6 hours, not constantly playing stuff but for the most part I have been, Lighting is at 15, volume 100%, haptic intensity on med, bass boost 60, thx spatial audio, and music eq, i don't know how much those all affect the battery percentage BUT it's still at a good 75% battery I think with this weird battery indicator. So it's actually been pretty good! the first night I had it I thought it dropped pretty fast but it might've just been since it was already around 50% out of the box, from 100% I think it'll last you a good while or for me a full 2 to 3 days of playing!

I replaced my old logitech wireless headset with the Blackshark V2 Pros, and love the wireless performance besides the mic quality. Have to walk to the kitchen until it cuts out. Sucks yours didn't wanna work. :c But I prefer the heft, deeper cups and leatherette cushions of my listening headphones and might pass the Blackshark to my brother who needs a headset. If you recall the quality of them, do the larger drivers and overall feel justify an upgrade to the Kraken?

    • @ZathrosTech
      @ZathrosTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

the blackshark isn't bad at all, I really liked the fit and the sound quality was similar, my main issue was just the wireless connection would cutout a lot and also the earcups would take an extra 2 seconds to adjust to sit on my head properly, they did feel nice, way lighter than what i was used to so i had to try to get used to it but at the point of it cutting out the same as the nari I gave up and just stuck with what I felt was more comfortable. These krakens are similar to the weight and feel but it completely fixes that wireless problem I had so i'm fine with that. if you want to spend the extra $60-$80 to sell those and buy the krakens, the main upgrade for you would be I'd say a slightly larger cup, few more features, better mic, and haptic feedback which is pretty good on this headset compared to the nari

I saw one person had the same problem and they returned the headset for another, and had the same issue. Also the quality of my friends voices in discord is just terrible, compared to my old headset which is a kraken. I just got my V3 Hypersense Pro's (wireless) in today. I have the regular (wired) V3 Hypersense as well (trying them all out). I have experienced the exact same issues on the V3 (wired) but I have zero issues with the V3 Pro's (wireless) so far, no static, no popping or crackling. I can say with certainty the V3 Hypersense (wired) are getting returned.
The stronger speculation right now is that the V3 Hypersense (wired) is having these issues because of the decision to use USB as their power and audio source. I tried hours of troubleshooting, posting on reddit, Razer forums, disabling/enabling/uninstalling, and contacted support, still no fix.
Side note, somehow I feel like these V3 Pro's sound even better. I'm not sure how they managed but I'm guessing because the power source is from the batteries directly in the headphones and not through USB, somehow they have more power to them, bass is deeper, and the vocals are seemingly more clear - though the wired V3's were already great sounding if you ignore the popping and crackling.

now i have hyperX cloud alpha instead of beyerdynamics DT770 pro 80ohms and it sounds not the same but better then both
to fix arctis 3 i had to use third party equalizer and it kinda worked but equalizer or surround sound has a problem the recording software picks the sound effect and it stacks the EQs literally so the audio sounded different then what im hearing from real time gameplay and listening to replay of a recording that is something to be very ware of that no one speaks about its common problem with small creators they play a game but dont do audio tests to see if its exact the same as if they were not recording anything
as for arctis 3 a 4/10 in sound kraken pro V2 default sound was 5.5/10 as for alphas they are solid 7/10 and i havent tried anything better yet but i know they are not perfect
razer electra V2 were the worst razer headset i ever had since i only had 2 headset from that brand the comfort was deal breaker it physically scratched my ears who ever designed it they deserve to have the headset they designed glued to their heads as for kraken V2 the comfort was on another level steelseries are clones and their comfort is acceptable but the grip is weak and can fall if you look down rapidly kraken kinda slipped but had more grip alphas has more grip
so yeah for me audio quality is top priority comfort is second and you want durability to last it as long as possible
edit: oh and if you plan to make higher quality videos adjust better lighting and bit rate but for a average micro channel you already put more effort then most would

Thank you! I'm definitely working on making every new video better I'm just in a weird spot right now, I found that my audio quality got way better when I turned off the basic bass boost and all that and messed with the eq a lot more now it sounds great but also I'm not the best at determining sound quality so if I'd want to review more headsets I guess that's what I'd have to learn more about, I did want to try the arctis pros but that was if themis headset didn't work out and so far it's been good so I guess I won't try them out anytime soon

@@ZathrosTech yeah the audio issues you notice it at late stage of editing so thats what short tests is for to see if everything runs smoothly if theres no lag if theres no loss in sound or visual quality
as for content being a tech channel gonna be very hard even harder then gaming channels or game review channels cause games you already played you know what content you can make out of them and games content can still be reused from different style and perspective
tech channels gonna be depending on products and it gonna be costly till it pays off i know one laptop reviewer started with idk 75K subs and managed to be successful
i on the other hand still hold back cause i experiment or think my content is so bad its just waste of time so youre much better off to completely ignore analytics and just make content the way you want to skills usually grow on its own how fast you learn depends on how efficient you are at making production value it can be something very cheap and simple as just changing lighting or post process but it also depending on equipment to not blow the budget
as for bitrate you already have VP09 instead of worst compression so thats good sight for 1080p res usually people either upscale to 1440p to force youtubes compression to make vp09 codec
as for bit rate 32K should be balanced in theory and 60K bit rate as for high quality 84K bit rate maximum but the higher the bit rate the more storage and performance you gonna need and might lag the editing software it something you have to optimize yourself and theres no simple easy answer
so yeah your priority should remain the same but you can do combination of unboxing and technicality maybe do a little cinematic where the camera smoothly moves to side as the product just lies there doing nothing but i dont know how to make that work probably needs a moving platform and be stabilized like basic cinemathography
im probably not the best advisor but there channels that can inspire from creator to creator
oh and some headset might require AMP or DAC im no audiophile and im stuck with a gaming laptop from what ive heard higher ohms means need more power to run them and headset always benefit from external AMP/DAC then build in motherboard but it most likely wont justify getting them if they build for standard for professional studio environment
but beware of burnout demotivation youtube platform changing for most of the time worse beware of fake sponsors and comment bots that either impersonates creator or post weird link it suppose to be common sense not to click on suspicious links but small channels and big ones do get them so you might need to filter blocked words cause they try to bypass it
so yeah good luck and make content the more content the higher chance algorithm might promote more but quality matters in the long run but first videos usually always bad thats normal creators learn and improve

In his defense too, I have transitioned from owning Logitech to Razer products, got their newest wireless keyboard and trinity mouse, best things ever (even the dumb charging dock). Now, I have Astro A50 wireless headsets, v1 with the base stand, and they've been the best quality headsets for like... 5 years now, but starting to have issues.
Bought my wife Razer Nari Ultimate (also to test for myself as well for an eventual upgrade), but I'm sorry for multiplayer they were horrible. Mic quality was worse than trash, and those things were so loud that you had to turn the sound almost off to never transmit any sounds through discord (even RMA'd them, next set was like, 15% better, but still horrible). Playing single player ya, they are great.
Bought the new wired Black shark for her, they turned out great with a good mic (wired version). Quality of sound I'd give a 7/10 though, and no hypersense.
Anyways Razer won my love with their trinity mouse and going wireless and all plus the keyboard (which is USB-C BTW! @Zathros). They also got the best RGB software to be frank. used to love my all aluminum hyperelite keyboard or w/e it was called, but 2x USBs slots, ooph... I want a good Razer headset that's wireless AIO, so gonna bite the bullet on this.

Also to add, Razer has the best Wireless products with RGB, 2nd to them really is all Logitech products (non-wireless, have not tested their wireless products except for their headsets and all failed within 6 months, RMA'd, same crap) as they are sturdy products and have a great "feel" and weight that I still miss.

@@sexymajesco I'm not expecting them to come out to be studio quality, just referencing between the major gaming peripheral brands, heck even the ones off Amazon that are no-names. Out of all them overall, Razer and Logitech have always outperformed. Mouse construction quality of a Razer is crap to Logitech's, but I also love heavy and metal-like mouse. If the RAT Cyborg mouse was wireless and had the functionality of the Razer Naga Pro, 100% would switch (as long as they had other peripherals of the same brand).
I'm not big into having 3x different softwares running to control mouse, keyboard, and headset, so unfortunately Razer has the top spot for KB/Mouse for me. Naga Pro - can't beat swappable plates for different gaming and the customization and macros you can do, just too plastic and not metal feeling. Blackwidow v3 Pro - pretty solid, just not an aluminum body that I miss. Already ordered these headsets, so here's to hoping MP with hypersense on isn't 100% trash (or a way to mix incoming chat or specific softwares to be 100% no hypersense)
