Some highlights from our Guernsey Trip to visit Paul's mum.
For those of you who don't know, Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands in the English Channel between France and England. It has a rich history and was occupied by the Germans during World War 2. It is a very beautiful island to visit and i highly recommend it, especially if you enjoy cliff top walks, rocky beaches and sweeping views. I hope you enjoy this video journal. Please leave a comment and remember to subscribe to my channel. Thanks for watching.

Lovely video. Brings back very special memories of working there 5 years ago for the Sure Telecoms phone Network.
Stayed at the Del Mar Court, loved Pleinmont, Petit Bot and Fermain Bay.
Took a 5 day trip out to Sark as well.
Our favourite place in the world.
The music between the 10th and 13th minute is Guernsey to a tee.

Lovely video Richard. I am a new subscriber from Mansfield Massachusetts. I have been watching your old videos and particularly loved the ones with Paul's mum. What an adventure she had as a young girl. It is hard for us to imagine what it must have been like during the war. Thank you for all your hard work. I enjoy seeing what life is like in another part of the world.

You're very welcome! Thanks for watching 😀
Nice video and nice music too
Guernsey Is stunning. Thanks for sharing this beautiful paradise.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice video thanks. We were there in June and had two days of fog! We always spend some hours at Bordeaux (food kiosk of course!). During the foggy weather the Condor ferry did a u-turn off Bordeaux as it couldn't safely make out the navigation marks, plus there was a yacht in fromt of it. They took the long route through the Big Russell, and were an hour late arriving, but safe!
Thanks for watching! Ahh yes, fog... we've heard the fog horns on many occasions!
This is an absolute joy to watch . Such a glorious Spring day with an abundance of natural beauty .
The accompanying soundtrack is perfect , so very in keeping with the film . Thank you for taking the time to share it all on YT , I feel so relaxed ! Very calming viewing . ❤️
I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. It was a lovely trip. Thanks for watching 😀
Richard Hammond Thank you for your reply , best wishes to you .
That was lovely; thanks for sharing! Beautiful scenery and spring flowers. And the music was great too...it really added to it.
Thanks Sandra, I'm delighted you enjoyed it.
Thank you for this absolutely mesmerizing video. I would love to visit Guernsey. What a beautiful trip to take. I wouldn't want to leave. Breath taking. 💟🌈🌝⛲⛵⛵💐💐
The little building on the right at 11.20 secs is covered in bullet holes from when the Germans bombed the harbour. Thirty-four people were killed and 33 were injured when three German planes bombed St Peter Port Harbour.
The attack on 28 June 1940 saw 49 vehicles damaged or destroyed, the majority of which were lorries of tomatoes waiting to be exported.
On the list ...thank you
Evening boys 🙋 thank you for taking me on my holibobs with you 👍😁 stunning scenery, I come from the beach so that view is amazing and makes me want to jump right in that water 😁 beautiful countryside. What a lovely place to live, lucky mum Paul 😉🙂. Thank you for sharing...nite nite 😁😴, hugs x
Just saw for the first time..breathtakingly beautiful..you are blessed with your mum still with you in such a gorgeous setting..Richard the music accompaniment was brilliant ..it did such justice to God's creation 👋👋👋💫🌟Thank you for sharing. 😍
Thank you so much for sharing your trip to Guernsey. Such beautiful scenery. The clips of North Beach with the islands and the sun glistening on the sea are stunning. Wonderful rocky beaches and amazing big blue skies. Pretty hedgerow flowers and nice shot of the ducks crossing the lane. It's amazing how the sea fog engulfs the coast and you can see how it can be a hazard to ships' navigation. Enjoyed every minute of this video, guys.
I'm delighted you enjoyed it. I love a good view and Guernsey is full of them.
giantdormouse Guernsey is a great place, and I'm lucky to have grown up there.
I am listening and watching again

Hope you have a lovely time!
I live in Guernsey!
Lucky you! It's a beautiful place. We visit regularly. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing to my channel 😀
Same
My wife and I just spent 3 days in Guernsey after 2 weeks in England and "if I new then what I now know..." we should have reversed the schedule spending 2 weeks in Guernsey and 3 days in England. England seems overrun with cars and, let's see, yes, more cars! Guernsey is so enchanting and there is still room for walking and cycling. We are not telling anyone about Guernsey because it should not become yet another popular tourist destination.
I think it also depends on the time of year you visit and the area you stay in. There are some very quiet parts of England. Guernsey can certainly get very busy too and there are a large number of vehicles on the island.
Hello Sir the place looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I'm very happy you enjoyed it 😀
It’s lovely. I must go there next uk trip.
It certainly is lovely...just a shame that flying there is so expensive compared to other destinations in Europe.
Nice and music too
Great Thanks. We are looking to move to Guernsey. Ex Pats living in NZ. Hows Mum?
Mum is doing ok, thankyou.
Another good video .next time you go make sure you take a big suitcase with you so there room for me .😀
I am watching again lovely
Superb, thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Richard and Paul would you do a video of Sark. And Herm
We'd love to but we can't currently travel!
I live in Guernsey
Hi Calum, we are regular visitors to the island. Thanks for watching!
What is the best time of the year to visit this place?
I would recommend spring before the flights become more expensive. Nice in autumn too.
Be aware that fog often disrupts air travel to and from.
Yes, we are very aware. Paul is a Guernsey man.
As does the sea swell in the Channel. 🤞
I live in Guernsey! :D
2019 ❤️🙃☕️🇬🇧☔️🚗😎
I've been to Guernsey 4 times. Much prefer it to Jersey
Hi Sylvia, Richard here. I've never been to Jersey, but I have visited Herm which is gorgeous and I've also walked over to the tiny island of Lihou which is only accessible at low tide. Thanks for watching!
Paul looks so French when he’s at home.
🤗
Nice looking at the waves
I live in guernsey
