Pete was trying to make the ultra metal guitar work as a jazz guitar and doing a pretty damn good job of it. Maybe they could do a series of videos where you use the wrong guitar for a music style and try to make it work.
One detail I love about the FRX is how it has the "dents" on the sides like a cello. If I could ever afford to I'd custom order a carved top semi-hollow one with a violin finish

Teles never really left metal. Hell, even in the ESP stable Stephen Carpenter has had a 7 string ESP one a pretty long time now and Kirk Hammett's used them pretty frequently.
Rabea is a master player and delivered such a good performance here but we all know he is in his element, Pete absolutely shocked me with that kind of playing hes got here I didn't know he had it in him they absolutely killed that intro!

It's always great to see Rabea and Pete jam together. I'm a little disappointed the LTD didn't have the Blackened Black Winter. I own guitars with both the EMG 81 and the SD Black Winter and I hoped to see the guys' opinion on the matter.
ESP don't do SS frets on any of their Japanese guitars. You might get it if you custom order one from the Japanese Customshop, but other than that, you'll only get SS frets from the USA line and top end LTDs (some of them)
I’d love to see Pete pick up a Parker Fly Deluxe. I miss mine just for the lightness of it. Wasn’t the best sounding guitar but it has a lot of cool quirks. Like a jack of all trades master of none.
Lee and Pete do some nice jams BUT things get thermonuclear real quick when Rab's in the chair. Pete has to bring his A-game LOL. This was bloody brilliant. Makes me want to buy an ESP / EX style guit-box. I favour MIJ guitars over most anything made in the US these days. I even like the voicing of some of the active pickups they're specifying (not all though LOL)
Me too, but it's impossible I'm afraid. They got sued by Gibson and were forced to change to this bastardized version of an explorer. Those old ESPs cost a small fortune and are collectors guitars now

I just got a Ltd black metal. It's pretty fn awesome. The thru-neck design gives it a nice resonance... Mine at least. I have two other Ltd ex's btw. A 2007 ex-400 that's at least 8 lbs, a 2014 ex-360 in the 6 lbs range. My ex-blk metal is about 6 lbs too. But the sustain is noticably better. Again the thru-neck is likely the reason.
I wonder how much does it cost, to actually take over the andertons channel for a day? Neither do I have any gear to sell nor do I own a known guitar brand, but I'd hang with the guys and shoot random blindfolds all day long.
