I have been torn between getting the Prophet 6 and the Summit and I was leaning towards the Prophet, but you just made my decision so much harder... I might have to get both, but I had sworn to myself to get just one more. Really beatiful patches
Agreed it’s so amazing! If I had one small complaint it’s that it sounds a bit dark and there’s no built in EQ to bump the highs , but otherwise I agree it is the most versatile synth I’ve ever played!
I sometimes regret that I don‘t really need a Summit because it is in fact fantastic. Would be my desert island synth anyway. Your patches are excellent as usual.
Bought them. Beautifully crafted. The sounds are excellent, some of the best I’ve heard. They are also extremely playable. Responded very nice to playing at various key velocities.

@@MilesAwayOfficial just another thought, though it might be academic considering the disappearance of the Prologue, which one is the better straight out the box to play, synth? I anticipate your answer being affirmative towards the Prologue 😊
@@mac651000 hey! late reply here but yea, the Prologue to me has the most logical and easy workflow right out of the box, but the Summit is great too. You can't really go wrong with either. The Prologue is more immediate and nicer to program, but the Summit goes much deeper. Did you get one?

@@MilesAwayOfficial Sadly is seems they have left the Prologue to focus on the wavestate, modwave and more. I cannot even get them to update the drivers so my Win10 / librarian / updater could see my P16. Ugh.
hey! i'd love to but it's not backwards compatible. I've been trying to get my hands on a Peak to make a custom soundset for it, but my local music stores don't rent them and I've not been able to find one to borrow either. Stay tuned though once I can get my hands on a loaner I'll make a similar peak soundset!
Good question but no! The summit doesn't support that. Mostly just live focused keyboards like the Yamaha Montage do that. This is a studio tweaking synth.
@@MilesAwayOfficial thanks....but I found a way after receiving the Summit... I just went on multi mode and one of the layers will continue to ring it's preset while the other layer can flip to other presets without cutting out the first preset.....and then whilst playing we can switch it over now the right hand layer can hold the ringing while the left hand layer changes presets..... another way is to split the keyboard.. thks for yr great videos!! Also jus recieved my Hydrasynth Deluxe and the same way works on it as well.....
Hey, have you ever tried putting the prologue, OB-6 and/or matriarch through the filter of the summit using its aux inputs? I'd love to see/hear that. :)

@@sound4label That’s a tough one as I have never played a REV2 before. But sound wise from demos I much prefer the summit which is why I got it. The pro10 is going to be the best sounding raw synth possible, only matched by the OB6. So I think a summit would complement it very well

All kind of plucks sounds are definitely the strength of this synth💛
100% agreed! Plucks and plucked basses work with this filter so well!
