Hey Matt! You have been ignoring my request to do a “What happened to Daryll Clark” video (former Penn State QB)? That would be a perfect video. The man went 22-4 as a starter and won a big ten championship. Played in the rose bowl. Finished in the top 10 both seasons, he was the starter. And he barely gets a mention among top PSU QBs. In fact, still run into fans who wish Devlin got more of a look.
Penn State??? The biggest joke of a program in college football. 🤣🤡🤣🤡🤣 all you dorks do is beat up on Maryland and Rutgers every year and have fake hype and lose 100% of the time to any program that can match your talent on the field like Ohio state, Michigan, Ole Miss, etc. embarrassing program that is surrounded year after year with fake hype 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I understand when an athlete is super arrogant, if I was that talented, it’d probably get to my head and most of ours as well. I don’t hold it against athletes because I don’t believe it’s their true nature to be arrogant. I think most of them are trained that way since they are little.
They won the Natty in '07 and he got dismissed during the '08 offseason. Then Jarret Lee went on to break the NCAA record for most pick-six's in a season.
Hey Matt. Can We Get A What Happened to Armanti Edwards of App State? I remember getting an Autograph from him a week after he beat Michigan. Real humble guy
Just started watching your series and just amazed of how good you are at this craft! Appreciate all the videos and some college stars or should have been stars I didn’t even know about!
Matt Flynn's an interesting story: he sat behind Aaron Rodgers at Green Bay, balled out in one meaningless NFL start at the end of the year, signed a huge contract with the Seahawks to be #1 quarterback- only to get blindsided by a Fourth Round pick by the name of Russell Wilson, then he gets traded to the Raiders and is out of football before the end of that Season...
I hate to be that guy, but, I’m going to be that guy. That would be the 3rd round, pick 75. Yes Matt Flynn traded to the Raiders but was on a roster bouncing around the league, from the Raiders to the Bills, back to GB 2013-14 from there, to NE, the Jets and finishing in NO. Funny thing, Matt Flynn and Ryan P. Both have a Super Bowl rings Ryan P with NYG and Matt Flynn with GB
Watching Perrilloux in high school was a spectacle. I went to a 5A high school in southeastern Louisiana, and my freshman year we played ESJ. They put up 77 points on us. I watched him shake off multiple simultaneous defenders with minimal effort. Defensive lineman running into him, and then just falling backwards because hitting Ryan was like slamming into a concrete statue. It was like watching a pro quarterback play against middle school talent.
Hey Matt, huge LSU fan, great video, heard of his name many times but never watched him play because I am only 17, can you please do a video of Zach Mettenberger and Darius Guice they were very underrated especially Mettenberger
Correct me if im wrong but Ryan Perrilloux set that program back 10yrs. Joe Burrow was the first legit, 1st rate, promising, etc...QB that LSU had since then.
You would be correct. There were a few in between with some promising talent but Les had his mind set on running a stone-age offense and those times had long since come and gone by the time he got to Baton Rouge. The Jarret Lee 16 interceptions year ruined any chance at Les developing any kind of passing game after that.
He was depressed and nothing you can do. He was lied to. He gave three years of his life to nothing. Les Mike's ruined his mental and killed his drive. But what you do you care.just a slave that needs to perform.
I vaguely remember a game where he cit his finger and was pulled out and matt flynn wound up getting injured as well so Ryan came back in with a huge wrap up finger on his throwing hand and like immediately threw a bomb down field. Wish i could find a clip of it.
Being from the Jacksonville area, he stayed in trouble while there they just didn't punish him for it because of Coach Crow and who he was as a player.
Right and I don't think Les Miles "lied to get him there. " coaches tell players they can compete for the job and they all her "coach said I would be the starter"

I probably said this in the last video that gor copyright claimed, but Pwrriloux snd Cecil Collins are 2 of the 4 biggest what ifs in LSU football history (the other 2 have to deal with coaches). Perriloux not being our starter in 2008 thre2 us off for four years at QB. Les Miles did more in the pasisng game before Jarrett Lee's terrible pick 6 season (8 starts, 14 TDs 16 ints 6 pick 6s). If we had Perriloux instead of all the freshman and the Harvard tranfer, we would have beaten Bama, UGA and possibly Ole Miss and went to the SECCG with a rematch vs Florida. Coming back for his lastseason in 2009 LSU would have gone 12-0 beaten Ole Miss, Bama, and Florida, who they all lost to really close. Then in 2010 we would have started a none tainted JL besting Bama and Arkansas to go 12-0 again. Then in 2011 with an experienced 5th year senior Lee, we win the national championship. Believe it or not. Some ppl purposely screw up so thst dont have live up to the expectations of being great. Crazy that he somehow ended his career with a National Championship (2008) and a Super Bowl Ring (2011). A backup for both, but still.
And Matt Flynn made more money per snap than any player in NFL history
nothing wrong with being a backup
RP was playing better than 95 percent of seniors in HS as a freshman @ ESJ.
You left out that he got a SB ring with the NY Giants.
Completely raw talent on the diamond also⚾️
At least he was able to win a superbowl, he was Eli Manning back up
That’s facts
