Apperently they've already prepared 3 more mvs in just a span of a week, like damn like I get it got delayed so far back but I was not expecting them actually dropping mvs like this good sign considering all members have contributed with the productions since it will give them creativity to produce on there own in the future
This is Min Heejin's group, she was the artistic director at SM responsible for most of f(x) and Red Velvet's concepts, and some SNSD, SHINee and EXO as well. Some of the most creative albums and mvs were her brainchilds so when she quit SM and Hybe gave her free reign to build her own girl group from the ground up lots of people were very interested in what the result would be! I love this 90s RnB sound too, it's so fresh!

It definitely reminds me of the 90s - early 2000s R&B. Like a 702, Myá, 3LW or Gina Thompson kind of energy.

This is a Min Hee Jin group, she's SM's former creative director. She never EVER in the history of her work used the same concept twice. It's always different and unique all the time. Apparently the next 3 MV's dropping in the next couple of days 23rd, 25th and 1st of August are all very different from each other.
This new song reminds me much of "Runnin" by the Pharcyde

Min Hee-Jin is the CEO of ADOR. she was the famous and best art director of SM. at that time she lead the every part of visual concept inclusive of hair/dress/album/MV etc with Shinee/f(x)/Red Velvet/NCT 127.
after leaving SM she became a CBO of HYBE and now CEO of ADOR under HYBE. she had already planned to make a new GG who has 5 members and the name NewJeans early 2018.
she picked out every member of NewJeans through the global audition and made it.
they seem like red velvet’s “daughters”, because apparently this is only a b-side. i’m so ready! 😍

They won’t actually debut until the 8/1 with “Cookie”. Songs like “Attention”, “Hype Boy”, and “Hurt” are pre-debut songs that will be in their mini-album available on 8/8! They were suppose to debut under SOURCE when they joined with HYBE, but after legal issues with GFriend’s contract(?) and/or the pandemic(?) they didn’t go under SOURCE. Then HYBE announced in 2021 (as she joined HYBE 2019 and asked to lead ADOR the independent company), they signed a contract with ADOR - Min Heejin’s label - SM’s former Creative Director who created groups like SNSD, SHINee, F(X), Red Velvet, EXO, and NCT the girls went under her management. They were supposed to debut 2020-2021 (prepared since 2019), but due to Covid, she didn’t want to stress them out or risk their health (they also endured a lineup change in the process)!
Though the group NewJeans is a 5 member group under ADOR, which is under HYBE. As of right now, their positions have not been revealed, just birth-years, nationalities, and a couple other facts (one being all the members can speak English fluently). The time stamps are on this video and *may* be on the wrong member - mostly Haerin and Hyein, but the others should be right. People in the comments please correct me:
1. Hanni - real name Phạm Ngọc Hân / Hanni Pham (3:24 or 5:33): 2004, Vietnamese-Australian, is HYBE’s 1st Vietnamese idol, was a part of the dance crew AEMINA Dance Crew based in Melbourne, nicknamed Cherry, and appeared in BTS’s Permission to Dance MV, a fan of One Direction when she was younger
2. Kim Minji - (2:56 or 4:28): 2004, Korean, former Source trainee (unconfirmed), and was the face of the Plus Global Audition in 2019 (she was #THE_GIRL)
3. Danielle Marsh/Mo Danielle - (2:34 or 3:19): 2005, Korean-Australian, her father is Australian and mother is Korean, appeared on several TV programs such as Rainbow Kindergarten, Jesse’s Play Kitchen, My Heart’s Crayon, etc., and her surname Mo is rare in Korea, having about 20,000 people with that surname (apart of the Hampyeong Mo clan)
4. Kang Haerin (3:41 or 4:25): 2006, used to play pansori, and was nicknamed the voice fairy
5. Lee Hyein - (2:18 or 5:10): 2008 (unconfirmed), was a former member of girlgroup U.SSO Girl under the stage name U.jeong, was a former model (from age 8), also a member of EBS Bonihani, appeared in Lemon Tree Magazine and Style Magazine Mallow, was cast through Jumbo Kids Model Selection 2014, she won the prize for sponsoring the Magical Cheonmun Kid Model Selection Contest, appeared on Pocket TV as part of the Play With Me Club, loves Harry Potter, and has a bunch of its books in English and Korean (she has like over 15 books), and also has Harry Potter’s wand
