reminded me of a mix of omori (specifically kel and sunny) and ghibli movies, very nostalgic and warm along with great music. i love this so much it was really fun to watch!!

TIFFANY THIS IS AMAZING!!! The color palette you chose just makes everything feel so warm and nostalgic, and the LIGHTING, gosh the shading made everything look SO PRETTY and vibrant. Vibes of this film are literally 100000000/10 omg
Also the music was sooo good. I feel like you could make such a good lo-fi edit/remix with the scenes and the music from here LOL

Omg Kai and Leo’s friendship is so cute! Kai sounds like bmo from adventure time a bit! I love the animation, colours and expressions used! The body language expresses so much emotion!
I love everything in this short film. The music, the animation, kids, simple but sincere story. All this makes me happy.. just pure happiness and nostalgia. A good little adventure with a childhood friend, there's can't be anything more homely. This short film is a little masterpiece for me, a small piece of happiness in this big unfair world.

I ALMOST CRIED OUT OF THE WHOLESOMENESS THIS IS A MASTERPIECE!! I'm an author now and can remember being just like Kai when I was younger. The sweet friendship dynamic oh my word. Incredible storytelling. Incredible animation. Incredible characters. You just got yourself an avid fan and subscriber.

I think this is my favorite animated short I've seen. The story, style, music, and characters together make a perfectly nostalgic and sweet animation ♡
This reminds me of the childhood I spent by to the seaside. So enamored by the simplest of things and creating imaginative scenarios with my fiends from nothing, playing around in the nature. This really took me back. Beautiful film. Now I'm living in a crowded city and suffering from anxiety attacks and depression for about 2 years. This film made me gain hope even for a little bit that I can reach some form of happiness again in the future.

@@KAKA333 черноволосый мальчик прибегает к другу и говорит, что прочитал книжку, в конце этой книжки изображение автора на фоне сухого дерева, русый друг черноволосого говорит, что знает где это дерево, он проезжал мимо него кучу раз, когда ездил к своей тёте на Рождество и на день благодарения, русый предлагает черноволосому поехать туда на авторбусе, черноволосый задумывается , но всё же соглашается, потом они приезжают к дереву, русый зовёт автора книги, черноволосый сомневается что автор здесь, русый видит его силуэт в траве, и говорит черноволосому тоже что-то сказать, пока он не ушёл, черноволосый кричит автору, что ему очень нравятся его книги, и что он хочет быть таким же когда вырастет и писать такие же замечательные истории, потом силуэт автора растворяется, как будто это был мираж и друзья едут домой

I was lucky enough to have a friend like this for a bit. She was our only neighbor and we were best friends. Sadly, I moved when I was six and all my new neighbors weren’t my age and had very different personalities from me. Always grateful for her though. Love you wherever you are, Gracie 😊❤
