My voices tend too range from sinister to inaudible like a record spinning backwards. What worries and freaks me out the most is hearing music in another room. One example is I came home and thought I don't remember leaving the radio on. Went in the living room and nothing was on. I get scared sometimes. Especially when I catch myself having a conversation in public. I worry that it could scare another person say at a bus stop. Because sometimes I can't remember what it was I was saying. It's a day by day thing with me. As a child I tbought it was normal. As an adult and my world grew bigger I realised that it frightened me alot. I get help at the moment in group work and one to one's. But I'm convinced it will be a situation for the rest of my life. You can get rid of the voices in just a second with Jesus' help. If you do not want them. Why is it scary to hear voices? I mean how can it be scary when you know that it comes from inside of you? And these voices cannot hurt you physically. I wonder where the voices come from really. Demons? I once was afraid of the Devil, but now that I am Christian he is afraid of me. I am only afraid of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of displeasing him. You could try to say: Go away in the Name of Jesus. You have to beleive Jesus exists. If you need more faith just read the Bible. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of G-d. I am praying for your liberation.
music helps me i put music on through noise cancelling headphones and focus on the lyrics focus on singing each word that young gierls brother is amazing and evry kind and thoughtful
well, i dont hear voices but have this bad thoughts that always pop up. it really disturbing and annoying. the way i cope with it are by naming it. so, i name my bad thought "jeen". ( i have no particular reason why, i just randomly pick that name). and every single time "jeen" try to act, i will snap it off and whisper to my self "SHUT UP JEEN" or "JEEN, STOP IT, THATS RIDICULOUS". and most of the times it will go away. and sometimes it don't. And its totaly okay for me. but, thats the most effective way for me to get rid of bad thoughts.
It happens the exact same thing with me, bad random thoughts pop up and I always here music so they can not distract me or make me even do something bad, is any reason why this happening or everyone is like that?
At 3 different times in my life I've heard a voice warning me of a road accident that was about to happen. Each time I was able to avert the accident because of the warning. On 2 occasions the voice told me to slow down just before a dangerous event happened. The other occasion was when I was overtaking 2 boys who werer on push bikes - just before they collided with each other and ended up lying on the road, the head of one boy was on the central white line. I had gone over to the other side of the road to overtake them, otherwise a very serious accident would have happened. I am very grateful for that voice (maybe more than one voice). I haven't heard these voices at other times.
I am 37 and started hearing narrative voices for almost 4 years now! I suffer with chronic ptsd from being held hostage 10 years ago and I testified. He gets out in 3 yrs and has friends that obviously don't understand really what he did to me for 2 days. Anyways these voices talk about 247 and say things thar will happen to me .like separating me from my family my daughtet and im a single mom. She hasn't seen her dad since she was 4 she's 14. They say im going to prison for 20 years for something about the case all those years ago . Idk it's insane but all I've learned to cope to just scrape by is earphones at work and TV at home . To engage myself distract myself. Noone understands and I've lost lots of ppl. I isolate and I know its not good but I'm scared of being out. Stuff is so hard but I'm getting through

I haven been told I have schizophrenia as I haven't been anywhere about it however I do see lots of shadows and hear some voices not necessarily bad or good just random. What I do is go on TH-cam turn the volume up high and scribble on a pad next to me. Kinda like the Hollywood medium guy. I guess my mind pushes the thoughts/voices back as I'm to focused on listening and scribbling at the same time to start with.

I was involved in drugs and false religions as well as the occult like mediums and new age, I had to renounce my involvement in it as well as astrology.... It’s so clear you have psychology degree and missed the mark. 3 years on and I’ve 3 opinions from psychologist with YEARS of experience and been diagnosed with autism and schizophrenia. You have literally no idea what you are talking and it is scary. Please do not go around diasgnosing people with your degree in hand. You have no idea about my Early developmental disorders so please Damn keep your mouth-shut This people’s lives that you think you and diagnose from a 9:43 video. It’s shameful. And the DSM5 is not based on detecting autism in women all the studies are on men. I could go on for days, you are so off the mark im confused and I don’t have a degree in this shit

What works for me is talking to people. I can't focus on what the voices are saying if I'm focusing on an actual conversation instead.
