Because that was one of the first runs where i started implementing the route with PRE (pontiff's right eye) and without PRE 44 dex was too much for Princes p1, because you trigger immediately their p2 instead of leaving them on few hp. And i thought it will break everything as well with PRE but it didnt because theres only 3 attacks instead of 4
If you even just walk towards that wall youll see how it deloads all visual assets around because its considered as part of different location. But it anyway doesnt allow you to go oob so its fine with Glitchless ruleset on speedrun.com
My fastest run was 1 hour 30 but i also killed old demon king and demon princes in dlc is this a good time for someone who plays console and doesnt speedrun?

You need to literally copy the line i take there, its the most important part (under the bridge i mean). Also try to look if you dont miss any headhits because if you accidentally deal one half hit with l1 then it wont work.

@@boomsticknsoc6332 oh yeah you cant quitout or die during irithyll running section if you perform this strat. Honestly my advice to you, if you only start running it, better to avoid this strat and just kill it on the bridge, this strat saves 5,5 seconds only. My honest recommendation
Its not "clipping" through the walls. The jump you perform at Farron Keep ladder is a regular Fall Damage Cancel, the reason why you jump at that wall is not to deload VISUAL textures but to get a fall boost down. Otherwise youll just die because it too high. You dont clip through any of the walls and you dont go out of bounds at any second of the run. You can try to casually walk right next to that wall and check that visual textures just disappear even without jumping into it. About Frozen Princes, its not a glitch because their AI is not broken or turned off. The reason why it works like that is because they cant see you. You can perform even by just standing behind the pillars in their arena, not certainly on that spot. If you go too far away to the side or hit Lorian during 2nd phase, they will immediately notice you and you wont be able to hide from them again. Thats the exact difference from AI breaks on Abyss Watchers and Aldrich in unrestricted runs.

I may be totally wrong in my understanding being somewhat casual speedrun observer, but i thought Any% just meant complete the game as fast as possible by whatever means necessary? I always thought glitches were a part of any% runs. I understood in Elden Ring when they put Zip runs in their own category, but wouldn't "Any% glitchless" just mean a normal speedrun? I'[m sure I'm wrong but could you explain how?

@@NoChance345 any% is just a type of a speedrun where you should finish game as fast as possible. Regular Any% doesnt have any restrictions, for example theres Any% Restricted where only certain glitches are allowed, and theres Any% Glitchless where no glitches are allowed at all

Wait why did his *souls go from over 180,000 to 85,000 when he teleported back to firelink after killing the princes?
If you darksign out before you get the boss souls you lose everything you have but keep the 85k from Princes.

@@NoChance345 not all the skips are glitches - thats just it really. The ones that arent glitches are ofc allowed in glitchless for obvious reasons
