Nice run, but you literally abuse game exits to skip phases / make them shorter and exploit lothric bugs + no fall damage jumps. I understand this might not be considered glitches by definition of a very small community but to majority like me this was kind of disappointing (especially the lothric kill)

Nothing counts as glitches, and its also not oob, its a visual deload of textures

@@sus_beatz8559 you dont need timer to submit a run. The only time that matters is your save file in game time that you have to show in the end.

Why do you sometines drop itens?
I drop them if theyre not needed anymore, so they dont fill inventory space. For example estoc drop provides faster +3 menuing, and dropping dagger and shortsword provides faster stormruler equip

Because it doesnt. I perform runs according to official ruleset of glitchless category on speedrun.com, so every single strategy or skip in these runs is not considered as a glitch.

if this isnt a glitch, at least it should be called cheating (49:39), other than that, you played so well, extraordinarily played. Besides how can a speedrunner (or a speedrun lover) complain about this if they always save and quit the game all the time?, avoiding lots of complicated situations that can lead to death, which is worst, it's absurd and hypocritical, double standard. As far as the rules allow this, it's legal as much as save and quit, maybe the mods or the rules creators or whatever they are should consider making more honorable rules one day in decrement of speed.

this isnt a glitch - its how the AI works. If a mob AI cant see you, it cant target you and thus it wont attack you. He did not use a freezestate or an actual exploit, this is literally just how mobs work in all souls bourne games even if this was not intentional

You need to kill lorian while standing on the red carpet on the specific spot (because if you kill too far from their spawn point it wont work). Afterwards not to be noticed by lorian youll need to line up yourself so twinblades slashes wont hit lorian (you should hit only lothric). Repeat until theyre dead
@@Hydroah yeah this is not a glitch at all, its a stealth kill in this particular case. Thats the reason you go only to a specific spot and why you can hit only lothric otherwise lorian will just notice you if you go too far or hit him. Thats the main and crucial difference from regular ai breaks where you can do whatever you want and boss wont do anything

@@jmac1141 doesn’t matter how YOU define glitch. There is an entire community and board of moderators who defined what it means, whether you like it or not. If you don’t want certain exploits that are not counted as glitchless, search for slower runs or do it yourself
How is bugging lorian not a glitch
It doesn’t break AI. Lorian in 1st phase and Lothric and Lorian in 2nd phase are two different enemies. When you end 1st phase on a certain spot on red carpet where feathers are, once 2nd enemy spawns it cant see you until you hit Lorian or you go too far from it. Thats the main difference from actual AI break as it is on Watchers, and thats why it is not considered as a glitch for Any% Glitchless category ruleset

If you are going to say that NPC's working exactly as programmed is a glitch then I don't know what to tell you. Lothric's and Lorian's AI's are separate, and they only programmed Lorian to have a detection radius in front of him. The situation occurs because everything in the game is working as programmed. You don't glitch the game, you just are behind him, and then hit only Lothric.

@@dtsnelson that is the dumbest take I have ever read on glitches. You do realize glitches happen because of human error when writing the code, not the code itself? By your logic nothing is a glitch because it's always working exactly how it was programmed to, unless your pc gets hit by cosmic ray or sth
@Hakej I phrased this extremely poorly when I wrote it. What I meant is there is a difference between a programming error where the game does something unintended and a developer oversight where the game is still working, and no reset or anything is needed, but the outcome isn't what is expected. I'm not sure if that makes sense it's more of a feeling I have and I understand that it is completely reasonable to view the twin prince fight as a glitch.
This feels like a developer oversight to me as it's something that doesn't fundamentally change anything about the game like causing entire areas to unload, and it could be discovered naturally during gameplay, and has an easy resolution which is just step to the side or hit both. I'm not sure if that makes any more sense?

This dude has no respect for other runners. He knows he is only getting this WR because Forsa is busy getting records in Elden Ring and because this guy has a slower timer. I'm not sure how this guy was even able to get moderator status on SRC considering he is using GLITCHES in a GLITCHLESS category... he doesn't even know the rules. You should honestly be ashamed of yourself. Not to mention if Forsa used the cheat timer he would have had the first sub 43 anyways but it's whatever.
Anyway I'm going to go back into my special league for REAL runners.
