    "dry fit before you commit!" my little saying, lol
    that's interesting you did the back rest and bottom of the chair separately. I'm building my first chairs now. used a template to cut the back legs, one solid piece
    🤞 these chairs come out beautiful and strong like yours 🎉

    You are the first person to make me want a domino. Thanks a lot. Once I decide I want something the money is spent. Ive seen lots of videos of people using them but you just seem to enjoy the hell out of wacking that walnut. Love that lazy taper jig. Genius

      I was enjoying it for sure 😂 The domino is very expensive, but it's allowed me to so much more than I could before. I wish I would've purchased it way before I did. Thanks for watching!

    To avoid problems with the assembly of the chair, I want to tell you a secret - be sure to make the insertion spikes yourself! In general, it is best to make these spikes from the same wood as the chair itself, because the glue is absorbed into such a joint evenly. Don't buy ready-made ones! Make it out of scraps - it's stronger! Greetings from Russia!

      Thanks buddy I appreciate the tip, makes sense! It would actually be cheaper that way too, I’ll try to make some sometime soon!

      @@mmcc_woodshop6288 Yes, it's also cheaper. But! The most important thing is that you will be independent of the standard length of the sheet. I make a large length and cut into size for my project. Good luck!

    Been a while since I watched any of your vids. I've really enjoyed watching your growth over the last couple years.
    I'm curious as to how strong the back of the chair turned out. Most chairs are solid legs through the back.
    Regardless, this has been my favorite build so far🤘
    Time to watch the rest of your vids and get caught up
    Cheers my friend

      Thanks Rab! As far as I know, it’s holding up great. I think the larger domino along with the glue joint should hold it together just fine. They were rock solid after taking the clamps off. Appreciate the feedback and following along! 🤟🏻

      @mmcc_woodshop6288  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve used a 1/2” spiral up cut bit for mortises. Spiral cuts are expensive bits but they work great
